@marplemead so sorry to hear ❤️

@fifi1989 I am the same! I feel constantly tired especially in the early afternoon, but I can’t nap either which makes it worse 😂 I had lower back ache last week for a couple of days but seems to have eased off now, from what I read online it’s normal!

Boredinthehouse12 · 06/07/2020 13:09

Can I just ask when the exhaustion kicked in? I’m 4 weeks today and have zero symptoms. I’m not sure if I should be worried? I done another test this morning and it’s still a strong positive

fifi1989 · 06/07/2020 13:24

@Wishingfor2021 I am working from home but just had to sneak in a little nap before a Zoom meeting! Saw myself on camera during the meeting and I look so tired Grin

Yes, I think back pain is fairly normal, glad that yours has eased off too. Trying not to worry about everything... not easy is it!

fifi1989 · 06/07/2020 13:34

@Boredinthehouse12 For me it's only kicked in the last 2-3 days and I'm 6 + 1 today. I think it's different for everyone really. I didn't have any symptoms at all at 4 weeks.

ClaraBean · 06/07/2020 13:53

Hi all!!
Got BFP on Friday and due 14/3/21!
This is dc 5, but youngest is nearly 13 so feels like my first. I'm 40, and dp and I only decided to start trying three weeks ago so really surprised with quick BFP. Just hope it sticks as kids have been nagging us to have a baby for a good year now 😁
Oldest four are with ex dh and my youngest wants to move in with him (and is going to in September) after not having much to do with him for 10 years. It's mostly the dog at his dads house I'm sure!!People keep telling me teenage boys need their dads but im still gutted. Eldest is off to music college in September too so a lot changing all at once!!

ClaraBean · 06/07/2020 13:56

Also I feel hotter than the surface of the sun. Anyone else extremely hot as a symptom? I'm 4+2 and only have tiredness and extreme hotness as symptoms. Waiting on sore boobs and sickness!!

Boredinthehouse12 · 06/07/2020 15:24

@fifi1989 thanks, that’s good to know! I guess I should just enjoy this symptom free period and try not to worry.

Jonsey1987 · 07/07/2020 11:31

Hi guys can I join here?? I'm technically a feb 2021 but I have the feeling ill be March! My DD is 25th Feb however I had a scan at 6+1 and it measured 5+ weeks, it's my first baby - I'm 6+5 today and still no symptoms what so ever, just got the gut feeling! X

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 07/07/2020 11:56

@Jonsey1987 I’m 6+ weeks too with ZERO symptoms Not one - not even when I try and convince myself - and still a 2-3 on the clear blue weeks indicator so share your worries, however from frantic googling there appears to be many in the same boat . I hope Our worries are for no reason. Thinking of you x

Jonsey1987 · 07/07/2020 12:24

@Xx40yearsyoungxx I had a scan at 6 weeks - Friday and saw the heartbeat so I know there's something In there, it measured 2.6mm - I've read somewhere they pretty much double in size every week for a bit??? I think we should just try enjoy this time - I'm a nervous wreck tho and on countdown to 12 weeks!!!

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 07/07/2020 12:29

@Jonsey1987 you are so right! We need to just try and enjoy this time
My First scan is on Saturday
X

Eppy123 · 07/07/2020 13:04

Hey everyone hope it’s ok to join - I got a positive test yday and am a little in shock haha (have taken 3 more from different brands and all positive!) but would be due roughly 16/3/21.

Just wondering how you all went about making initial GP appointments etc? This is my first baby and super excited but also super nervous incase something goes wrong.

Thank you ☺️

Jonsey1987 · 07/07/2020 13:41

Unfortunately atm you need to ring your local midwife base and then it's over the phone calls at about 9 weeks. A date for the scan in the post at 12 weeks :( gutting!! Hopefully though restrictions will lift soon. And a massive CONGRATS!!

Sho2207 · 07/07/2020 13:47

Hey 3rd pregnancy, 1st baby. Had a mmc in April and lucky enough to have conceived within 3 months, found out at 9dpo, I'm 4+2 and due 14th March 2021.
symptoms have been:

Back/pelvic aches (seemed to have stopped now)
Tender breasts (calming down which is worrying me)
Few cramps
Hunger
Tired

Is there anyway to calm the anxiety down?? I'm constantly worrying and testing to make sure lines are getting darker and then when a symptom starts to fade I worry even more 😩
I'm definitely gonna book to have a early scan, maybe even pay for private scan

bubblybon20 · 07/07/2020 13:52

Hi @Sho2207 sorry about your MMC in April, I also had a MC in April, and currently 5 weeks pregnant! I've had the same symptoms as you and also they seem to be disappearing.. don't think there's anything to help ease the anxiety at this stage 😫
I have also been testing every other day, but finally got 3+ on a digital which has eased slightly.

AuntieR456 · 07/07/2020 15:14

Hey ladies Congrats on the new BFPs! - not sure if you’ve spotted but quite a lot of us have moved to a private Facebook group called springtime ladies :) for daily chats and questions etc. X it’s in a previous message in this thread if you can’t find it!

Jonsey1987 · 07/07/2020 15:58

@AuntieR456 would love to join but nervous about other people seeing that I've written in a pregnancy group etc. Trying to hide it until I get to 12 weeks!? Hopefully I'll join soon!
Guys so sorry to hear of your mc it's shite and your lucky to concieve pretty much straight away! Fingers crossed for you and its annoying you have to wait until week 12 to get reassurance. I think if your unsure ring your epu or book private?! If it helps this is my second pregnancy and it feels completely different from my first! X

diamondbutterfly · 07/07/2020 20:52

@Jonsey1987 the group has a random name and doesn’t have pregnancy in the title, also I believe it is a private group so you can’t search for it.

@ClaraBean you beat new, this will be dc4!

Wishingfor2021 · 07/07/2020 20:56

Has anyone else had spotting after sex? It’s very light pink in colour and not a lot, I could only see it when I wiped and I’m not having any pain with it. Sorry for TMI but I’m not sure if it’s something I should be worried about or if it’s because I haven’t had sex in a couple of weeks now? Not too sure who to contact (if I need to) as I’m only 6 weeks tomorrow so haven’t spoke to a midwife yet

ALew15 · 08/07/2020 07:32

Hi everyone!
Wanted to join a new group as we have recently found out we are pregnant! Tested 3 days ago. I am approx 4 weeks so very early days. Had a MMC last year that was picked up on 12W scan so lots of anxiety. Definitely going to book an early scan (probably private) Have been doing a HPT every morning just to check line progression. Puts my mind at ease a little.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's progress and stories!

Kangaroo77 · 08/07/2020 08:38

Morning ladies, here's the group

See you in there xxx

peonyrose87 · 08/07/2020 08:51

@Wishingfor2021 yes that's common. It's to do with the increased blood flow to the area and usually is nothing to worry about at all

ALew15 · 08/07/2020 10:31

When is everyone thinking of telling close friends and family?

SK2970 · 08/07/2020 10:41

@ALew15 We told my parents last week - I spend so much time with them that I would have struggled not to tell them and I just needed to be able to talk to my mum about it.
DH told his brother as he needed to tell somebody but we haven't told his parents yet and I have asked that we hold of telling them but if we are with them and the time feels right then happy to tell them. I just worry that if something goes wrong then it's more people heartbroken than needed!
Have you told anybody yet? What is your thoughts on it?

Wishingfor2021 · 08/07/2020 11:23

@peonyrose87 thank you for your reassurance, coincidentally my midwife just rang this morning to do my booking appointment over the phone and she has just said the same, phew!Smile

@ALew15 I’ve told my best friend as I needed someone to talk to other than my partner who would understand from a females point of view! I’ve also had to tell my dad as he is also my employer, and I didn’t want to risk him pulling me back into work soon because of Covid (my job sometimes includes working very closely with members of the public). Because of this we also told my partners parents to be fair, but that is it. I’m not telling anybody who I wouldn’t feel would be supportive should anything bad happen!
