I’m still breastfeeding too so I am a bit nervous for if I get sore boobs again! Yikes...

@Firsttymmum Ooh I'm extremely bloated (and gassy 🙊) too! I thought I had another three months before I stopped fitting into my clothes, but my shorts are feeling really tight already!

@Tecalina it’s awful isn’t it🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Yeah my clothes are feeling uncomfortable with being so bloated !

Ahhh I'm glad it's not just me bit of an anxious ftm over here. I have had quite bad indigestion and trapped wind cramp but it seems better today so far which makes me nervous.

Does the anxiety get better after the first trimester?

I also feel really anxious 😟 got a strong positive on a FRER yesterday, then 1-2 on a digital today. But AF hasn't been an gone yet, due either 26th/28th, had some cramping today and yesterday.. just hoping it sticks 🥴 no symptoms really just tiredness x

@bubblybon20 there are so many reassuring threads about how unreliable the CB weeks dating is. I got 1-2 on sunday and I was 4+4. I guess once you add the 1st 2 weeks of cycle it's not out by much. Even still Ive been overthinking this and worrying but then I read so much online about how they can vary loads. I have one more test and was going to do it on Sunday to see if it had progressed in a week but my DH isnt fussed on the idea because of how unreliable they are. Sorry for the essay but hopefully that puts your mind at rest even a wee bit. We are all in the same (crazy) boat lol!!! Xo

@knickknack30 Thankyou for you're reply! Yes I agree, going to do a FRER, once I've missed my period. Then hopefully will be clearer of where I'm at. And I agree think it sends us all abit crazy the unknowing, and lack of symptoms!🤣x

Hi guys!

I took a FRER on the 13th of June and got my BFP even tho it was 6 days before AF was due. EDD is 25th feb (but hoping baby will arrive 2 days before so we can have the same birthday!) I'm 30 and had a MMC in March so very very anxious about this pregnancy. I think I'm currently 4+6 xxxx

Hi everyone! I got my BFP yesterday for baby #1! NHS calculator says 8/3/21. Over the moon but absolutely petrified!! Very nauseous!! Did another test today to double check and have a few tests left to use over the next week as AF not due until Sunday.
What to do now? I feel totally overwhelmed! Are there any apps/ websites that anybody would recommend?
Anyone in the UK that has contacted GP, what did you have to do? Did they just book you in for scan? Does anybody know if partners can go to scan now?

@SK2970 congratulations on your BFP. Yes I just called the GP on Monday. The receptionist just gave me a number for the midwife Services and then I called and booked my 8 week app with the midwife and 12 week scan. I’m in Scotland though? Maybe different in England.
❤️❤️

@Niisa @SK2970 so nice to see some ladies from the TTC boards! 😂

@SK2970 I just called the doctor surgery and the receptionist booked my in for a midwife appointment at 8 weeks. The last time I was pregnant the midwife booked my scan date during this appointment!

@peonyrose87 I had spotted your name throughout this tread Grin it's like graduation haha thanks, I'm going to hold off calling the GP until Monday - not sure why but I don't quite believe it! Did another test this morning and def a lovely strong line!
I feel so nauseous but don't know if it's in my mind! I wonder when it will sink in and start to feel real!!

@SK2970 I held off a few days before calling too! I also felt so nauseous the first few days after testing and I'm not now, but I honestly think it might have been nerves 🙈

Hi everyone! Hope I can join too? I got my BFP yesterday! Honestly so excited and can’t believe it. I’m due March 5th (I think 😬) and am about 4 weeks today? Quite confused by how they work it out 🤣

I recognise some names from ttc threads... so funny we’ve all been on this journey together! How is everyone feeling? I have zero symptoms yet... I can’t tell if I want them so it begins to feel real but then also don’t want to wish myself into being sick 😂

Hey all :) would love to join please - got my positive last week on Friday!

I'm about 5 week and 3 days now!

I feel like abosloute crap the last week or 2 - bloated, tired, headaches, sore boobs and cramps - oh and horrid constipation hahaha

Although I woke up today and feel surprisingly good!!

I;ve self reffered to the local hospital - they email me back to say i should hear from them in 5 working days!! the suspense

@BookishEm I am also not experiencing any symptoms as yet! I'm due on the 5th March aswell based on my LMP, and cycle lengths.

Exciting 😀

@bubblybon20 oh date twins 🥰 I guess I always thought when you were pregnant you “felt” pregnant straight away 😂😂

Report
bubblybon20 · 24/06/2020 17:34

@BookishEm I know what you mean. I've had a really bad headache the past 3 days, but assuming that's due to the weather! 🤣 and haven't missed AF yet, so still so nervous, incase it arrives 😢

BookishEm · 24/06/2020 17:48

@bubblybon20 I’ve had headaches too!! Maybe it is a symptom...
tell me about it! There really is no point worrying but still in the back of my head I keep expecting AF to arrive. Hoping once Saturdays past (AF due date) I’ll feel better!

bubblybon20 · 24/06/2020 18:39

@BookishEm oooo hopefully it is then, although I hate headaches 🙈 fingers crossed for us both then 🤞🏻🤞🏻x

@SK2970 I filled out a self-referral form from my GP's website (GP's don't book our appointments in England, unlike lucky @Firsttymmum!), but haven't heard anything from the NHS yet. That was last Thursday. I'm 4+6 today, so still plenty of time for them to get me booked in! Booked my 7 week scan with the private clinic I used to conceive, as I just want to be kept up to date!

@BookishEm I always thought I'd 'feel' pregnant from the start, too! I've had a lot of bloating but I also suffer from IBS (sorry, TMI!) so I'm kinda used to that 😅

Welcome everyone else!!

@Tecalina oh well that’s good you got it sorted though. I have been off work for 14 weeks due to covid and due to return in a few weeks. Most likely this will be when morning sickness is at its worst ....I really want an early scan but I’m going to play it by ear and just see.

I have had headaches too so must be a symptom 🤭

Ladies, is anyone experiencing bad constipation? I'm so bloated I look about three months pregnant! And I feel so bunged up. I've tried hot water and lemon, hubby bought me prunes tonight and I eat a very healthy diet of fruit and veg. I know it's a symptom but I'm so frustrated. It will be day 4 tomorrow.... do I wait longer, go to the pharmacy and get something or phone the GP? 😰😰

Rubyroo19 · 24/06/2020 21:18

I spoke to a midwife today just to basically register myself and she said I'll have another appointment in a few weeks time (currently 5+1) which they are doing over video consult and then my scan will be between 12-14 weeks. Seems so far away!

I had been thinking about going for a private earlier scan if my husband isn't allowed in for my nhs scan especially this being our 1st I'd love for him to be there but we've still got time to think about it.

Feeling so tired and occasionally nauseous, but apart from that I'm struggling to actually get it into my head that I'm pregnant 😂
