@kate123cl I had sharp pain the my lower abdomen every time I stood up. It's gone now (5+6) and the slight nausea is kicking in

@fifi1989 I hope everything goes ok! A lot of people on this thread had experienced spotting and if it's definitely not an ectopic then hopefully everything will be fine 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Do keep us posted, we're always here to help 🙂

BookishEm · 02/07/2020 11:45

@AnonGlasgow I know I’m a bit ahead of myself haha I hadn’t thought about it until yesterday and got a bit anxious thinking he wouldn’t be there! One step at a time and hopefully by then things will be more settled like you say!

Feel like the weeks are dragging by already!

kate123cl · 02/07/2020 11:49

@Firsttymmum @Tecalina Thanks ladies! It seems forever ago I had my little one and just getting used to which pains are normal again! I'm only 4+3. I hope your nausea subsides - I had it quite severely with my first and it's not a nice symptom at all! X

fifi1989 · 02/07/2020 11:50

@ Tecalina Thanks Smile Never expected pregnancy to be this stressful.
Also think a very slight nausea is starting to kick in here today, hopefully that's a good sign.

Does anyone else feel super hungry in the mornings and evenings but then actually can't eat very much at meal times? I wake up feeling famished but then once I've made my breakfast I struggle to eat it.

knickknack30 · 02/07/2020 11:51

In Northern Ireland we are allowed to bring someone to scan with us from Monday because so many politicians were getting complaints from constituents so maybe that'll change for you soon too. Just got my booking appointment and 12 week scan date. Both will be done on 19th of August. Seems so far away lol

kate123cl · 02/07/2020 11:51

@fifi1989 Yes! This is exactly me! In the evenings I'm terrible x

Ejb86 · 02/07/2020 11:55

I think scans in England vary by hospital. My 2 local ones have different policies.

English teachers! The guidance is out!

Ejb86 · 02/07/2020 11:57

I mean teachers in England.

fifi1989 · 02/07/2020 12:00

@kate123cl So weird, but glad I'm not the only one! I've always had a really good appetite so feels weird not being very interested in food at the moment. Yesterday I even said no to ice cream after dinner Shock

Indigo89 · 02/07/2020 12:01

@Ejb86 where have you found the guidance?

Indigo89 · 02/07/2020 12:29

@Ejb86 so pregnant teachers are still classes as clinically vulnerable and should work from home where possible or work in situations where social distancing can be adhered to

Ejb86 · 02/07/2020 12:36

Yeah. I can't see how my head can make it work keeping me in school.

I'm definitely not going to be covering PPA, I refuse to be put at so much risk.

RoseCaterpillar · 02/07/2020 12:37

Hello all, may I join? I had a positive last night after realising I was over a week late. This is first pregnancy, I'm 30, unexpected as I was reasonably sure I was unable to conceive so wasn't using protection and haven't been for the past 2 years! Having some mixed emotions as I was convinced I didn't want children (although I think that might have been more of a coping strategy at thinking I wouldn't be able to). I was very excited to see the positive though! Due date 4th March. I am clueless!

Ejb86 · 02/07/2020 12:37

@Indigo89 that was for you.

Indigo89 · 02/07/2020 12:46

@RoseCaterpillar wow! What a lovely surprise! I can imagine it'll take a bit of getting your head around. Congratulations!

@Ejb86 yeah. I'm secondary so our bubbles will be year group sized. Not even the possibility of limiting my contact to one bubble when I teach all year groups. I'm now wondering whether to tell the head earlier rather than later since this will affect staffing.

MrsBlue1986 · 02/07/2020 12:47

Wow so much chat since this morning!!

@ejb86 just read that article... so can we safely assume that we shouldn't be in school!? I really dont want to tell the Head yet, but maybe I'll have to!? Xx

Ejb86 · 02/07/2020 12:48

@Indigo89 I think I would do.

MrsBlue1986 · 02/07/2020 12:48

Just a thought for everyone!.!.

Would anyone fancy a private Facebook group to chat in instead!? I was in one last time and it was so helpful. It would be totally private and none of your friends could see it. We could even name the group something unrelated....??

Xx

Ejb86 · 02/07/2020 12:51

@MrsBlue1986 My group are still in touch from my pregnancy with my little boy 3 years ago. We've been doing weekly quizzes during lockdown. They've been so supportive. I'm definitely a yes!

AnonGlasgow · 02/07/2020 12:58

@MrsBlue1986 that sounds like a lovely idea! As long as like you said no one will be able to see we're part of it yet 🙈💖

MrsBlue1986 · 02/07/2020 13:04

Ok so Ive just made a group called 'Springtime Ladies' Sorry - first thing I could think of...we can change it though haha !

Here is the link. It currently private (so unless you're in the group you cant see the posts) but it is visible to find the group. I can make it invisible but you need to access it first.

www.facebook.com/groups/2587539904890909/?ref=share

Hope to see you all in there soon!! Xx

MrsBlue1986 · 02/07/2020 13:10

It looks like this on Facebook... in case you can't find it.

Hi lovely @Firsttymmum,

Hope you all dont mine me jumping on! Got my pos last sat evening, a couple of days prior and up to Monday this week I had really sore boobs and slight nausea if I didnt eat and a little bit of cramping.

However since Tuesday, nausea gone completely and my boobs are barely sore since although last night they really were sore but today nothing again. I just dont know whether to be worried. Google is not my friend 🤣 no bleeding or anything like that.
