@knickknack30 im from Northern Ireland, i had an internal scan yesterday and today and they let my husband in yesterday and mum in today. Maybe due to my worries and because i was a "mystery" lol. But good news is they got specialist in today, she was great, showed me the sac and yolk sac, hcg levels doubling and mass they seen on left ovary turned out to be the corpus letuem which is present in the first few weeks of all pregnancies. So iv went from a suspected heterotopic pregnancy to a normal one now. Praying everything progresses well 🙏🏼❤️

knickknack30 · 02/07/2020 14:01

Awh @Dylansophia1 that's brilliant I'm so so glad your scan went well!! Fingers crossed things progress well 😀 how far on are you? Have you picked your hospital yet? I've gone for the Ulster.

Brilliant idea about facebook, going to join now!

Carmelova85 · 02/07/2020 14:10

@fifi1989 that’s me! I’m super hungry but after 2 bites I’m done 😂

diamondbutterfly · 02/07/2020 14:36

A Facebook group sounds fab 👍

Indigo89 · 02/07/2020 14:42

@MrsBlue1986 great idea. My mum's group from first DD are the only people I've told at the mo.

Firsttymmum · 02/07/2020 14:51

@HolEyr I honestly wouldn’t worry . All of our bodies are different and will be changing all the time. My boobs have been really sore some days then nothing the next which is madness. First viable pregnancy for me too so it’s exciting .

It will most likely be back tmoz 😂 our bodies are weird things!

HolEyr · 02/07/2020 14:52

@Firsttymmum thank you so much 💓 nice to have someone to talk to.xxxx

marplemead · 02/07/2020 16:19

@Indigo89 I'm secondary too, and can't see how they will be able to have me back in school with new guidelines. I'm going to tell my head when/if I get to 7wks, so they can factor this in to their planning and do a risk assessment.

peonyrose87 · 02/07/2020 16:25

@MrsBlue1986 the Facebook group sounds fab! I've just requested to join ☺️

mumaofgirls · 02/07/2020 17:09

tobytoes1403 · 02/07/2020 21:28

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining :)

Found out yesterday that I'm pregnant- due 13th or 14th March :) x

Cathylouise · 02/07/2020 21:37

Hey ladies, hope I can join?

I found out I was pregnant last week... think I’m around 4 weeks 4 days! Due 7th March.

This is my second pregnancy after having a MMC in Feb this year.

Obviously really nervous and overthinking every little thing atm but it’s reassuring reading about everyone’s symptoms and how everyone else is feeling.

I’ve had aches in my abdomen and back, bloating and some nausea but stressing at every little thing at the moment. Can’t wait until I can have a scan but trying to hold out until 7/8 weeks.

Boredinthehouse12 · 02/07/2020 23:28

Hi ladies, hope everyone is well!

@tobytoes1403 I got my BFP a few days ago and according to my dates I’m also due 14th March!!

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy pregnancy! X

Anyone else suffering from insomnia? I can’t seem to Sleep for more than 4 hours for the last 2 weeks. I really hope this goes away

kate123cl · 03/07/2020 07:07

@Icecreamsandwich2020 Yes! I keep randomly waking up and I can never seem to get comfy

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 03/07/2020 07:21

@Indigo89 - any movement on the clear blue - mine still says 2-3 today ?
I know I should stop testing but I just want the reassurance of 3+

peonyrose87 · 03/07/2020 09:02

Congratulations to all of the new ladies 🎉

@Icecreamsandwich2020 yes I've had horrible insomnia for the last two weeks 😴😴

Wishingfor2021 · 03/07/2020 09:30

Hi everyone!

Hope you don’t mind me joining, I found out I was pregnant last week and I’m 5 weeks pregnant. I rang my GP on the day I found out and they said due to Covid-19, they weren’t doing blood tests to confirm pregnancies and that a positive test is good enough for them (I’ve taken 10 and all positive so I’m not too worried about confirming with bloods!)

I had to then pick up & fill in a pregnancy booking form from my GP and they said the midwife would then be in contact with me. This was over a week ago and I’ve not heard anything back yet.

This is my first pregnancy so I’m just wondering when should I expect to be contacted by the midwife? I don’t know if I’m just being impatient haha, I’ll be 6 weeks on Wednesday.

Spinksy9 · 03/07/2020 10:07

@Wishingfor2021
Where we live, the midwifes get in touch when you are roughly 9 weeks pregnant so don't worry if they haven't got in touch yet.
Fingers crossed all goes well for you

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 03/07/2020 12:14

Quick question - what supplements are everyone taking, if any?

Jadeypie · 03/07/2020 12:14

@Wishingfor2021 I rang my gp on the Friday when I found out and the midwife rang me on the Wed. Think maybe it's down to the GPS because my friend waited three weeks before she got the call back I also filled the form in over the phone so don't no if that made it quicker. Xx

bubblybon20 · 03/07/2020 12:15

@Xx40yearsyoungxx I've just been and purchased the Severn seas pregnancy ones! They seem to have everything needed in them x

Jadeypie · 03/07/2020 12:22

@Xx40yearsyoungxx I'm only taking folic acid and trying to make sure to eat healthy. Are we supposed to take other stuff? Concidering how many years I have been on Google I feel pretty clueless now I am actually pregnant ha xx

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 03/07/2020 12:29

@Jadeypie - hah I know exactly what you mean. I’m clueless. Not sure ref supplements further than folic acid .

I’m also taking vit d , vit c and a prenatal - does anyone know if this is ok ?
I took uniquinol to help with egg quality in ivf ...... not sure whether to keep taking incase this isn’t a viable pregnancy and I need to start ivf again ( still don’t have ANY symptoms and don’t feel pregnant at all at 5 w 4 d !)

bubblybon20 · 03/07/2020 12:32

I only took folic acid with both my boys, but as I have low iron and calcium, I thought I would be best to take the seven seas. Literally has everything in it :-)

But folic is the main thing needed in the first 12 weeks .
