Morning girls, woke up with the worst arm cramps I'm not kidding I nearly cried

I've weighed myself, and happy with 20lbs so far

Also ordered some bits in bohoo, sick of living in old joggers all the time!

I was worried coz it wasn't like a bust period it was the whole day I managed to get to sleep at 2 am she was still moving a bit but I think she was asleep as by 2am it wasn't kicks any more just movements but she's been dancing about this morning already @Spark27 - I got woken up by DD at 6.15am- I'm tired!!! !!

I called the mw she said not to worry as they move more as they get bigger and it's good if she moving a lot they only worry if they move less -think I can feel everything too coz of my posterior placenta!! I'll see how she does today she might just be establishing a new pattern where she moves more!! Xx

I got an Amazon delivery too @Indigogirl88, but it had 3 packets of maternity pads in it. Urgh. Not fun stuff.

Supposed to be having a nap today, but ended up going through another 3 boxes of DDs old clothes that we found in the garage. Crazy the amount of stuff we've been storing for the last 2-3 years, but saving a lot of money. Hopefully I'll be so tired that I'll sleep well tonight xx

I've finally got my holiday approved! Well 8 out of the 11 days. My manager has been telling other members of the team I want every Thursday off until my due date, which isn't true. I'm so glad that i am going down to 4 days a week for 9 weeks and there's only 12 weeks left until I start maternity. It's been stressing me out so much not knowing what's happening. I've also felt like I've been on the longest notice period for a while now, I'm reaching a point where I just don't care anymore because other people are being difficult to work with.

@BntTowers that sounds awful about work - but atleast it’s kinda sorted now . You know what I’m so sick of work to. Not sure if it’s lock down but people just annoy me extra now and after yesterday holiday incident - I’m not happy . Has anyone received their pay schedule yet for their maternity leave?

I am so tired now with a headache 🤕 we hit a lot of shops today and I think we have narrowed out the car seats that we like . Baby strollers are another thing no clue what we want . We picked up lots of little clothes today as well - dh first time baby shopping so lots of excitement and lots of furniture shopping from ikea - I’m worried where wee store all the things till dh makes it . ( he hates diy)
If anyone is feeling confused about what they want for car seats or for pram or crib - mamas and papas sales people are so nice and helpful . We brought nothing but they were so sweet about it all.

@Treacle81 love an amazon delivery esp baby bits . Snap I get that weird hunger in the morning I try and drink lots of water and force myself back to bed .

I got maternity leggings on today and they felt amazing . The last few weeks my stomach has been in pain from the tightness of the normal leggings . Warning if anyone buys the leggings from Asda don’t size up they are really baggy .

It's exciting to hear about everyone's shopping! We're going to look at car seats tomorrow and that's that last of our big ticket items sorted.

Had our 4d scan this afternoon as well! She was being uncooperative as ever and was asleep the entire time, using my placenta as a pillow 😂 and woke up once we got back home. But I'm obsessed with her face! So bloody cute ❤️

@otterbaby can I ask how long your scan was today? I'm booking a 4d one and trying to decide to go for the 15 or 30 minute option.

@BntTowers ours was 15 mins. That included a good amount of time looking at her in 4d and they also checked to see how everything was growing e.g. brain, organs, heart etc. That was plenty of time for us and I'm not sure our clinic even offered a longer option.

@Zaalfruit sounds like you had a good but busy day! I can't wait to finish work.

I swear this baby is trying to Alien its way out of me. It nice that shes moving a lot, but I really want to get a decent nights sleep after only 3-4hrs last night

@otterbaby -lovely pic I've got another NHS scan on Tuesday and consultant has said she should be able to give us 4d pictures - exciting!! Xxx

@Spark27 I had a day like that yesterday, been much quieter today I think baby must have tired themselves out and are prepping for another robust day soon. Hope you manage to get some sleep.

Thanks everyone, went and had a chat/cry to my Mum (she's not with my Dad), a nap to catch up on my lack of sleep and then saw my friend and just had a relaxed evening and catch up which is just what I needed.

@Zaalfruit glad you had a productive day looking at everything, the choices are overwhelming, theres almost too much to choose from! It's so fun getting clothes, we picked up a couple of bits in the John Lewis sale for half price, lovely quality too.

@BntTowers sorry things are so difficult for you to get holiday confirmed, sounds like your manager is a pain!

@otterbaby lovely picture, I'm thinking of booking a private scan in the next few weeks

I'm with you all on the work front, my workplace is lovely but I'm still waiting on my SMP1 form after chasing it twice as I need to send off my maternity allowance which is stressing me a bit. Yesterday I was so tired I had a nap at 4 and woke up at 6, missing an hour of work (working from home) it's the first time since lock down I've done that but I really needed it. Hoping today I have more energy as got a lot of work to do! I put in holiday from mid September but I could do with cutting down days before if this is how tired I'm feeling.

Baby girl was moving a fair bit yesterday afternoon but then not much in the evening so just going to keep an eye on it today.

Still got our crib to get but going to do a huge amazon order today for some more smaller bits, I really want to get to Primark and B&M but cant face the idea of it yet

@BntTowers your work are the worst. At least you have most and the countdown to telling them to fudge off is on!

For those on amazon, if you make a baby wishlist you get some percentage off if you spend a certain amount. Think it's 10% for 200 and so on.

Our pram arrived yesterday. Got it in a package deal with a swing, travel cot and travel high chair so lots of boxes everywhere now 😅😅😅

All ok over here, back in the dreaded TWW for our first cycle back after the MMC - forgot how infuriating this wait and the symptom spotting is! Will hopefully have some answers soon but not holding my breath - would have to be very lucky to catch first time both times.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello - I've been lurking and keeping up with you all and it makes me smile to think how far you've all come and how your little ones will be here before you know it 💕
