Aww, congratulations @Indigogirl88!

Zaalfruit · 22/06/2020 21:24

@BntTowers you are like me - dh does not get good snacks !! I ordered Chinese for dinner For 1 as dh said he will eat left overs from the weekend - once my food got here he got two plates out , 2 glasses and just helped himself I got upset lol because I wanted to eat it for lunch lol after 10 mins we were laughing so much as I gotten so upset.

( has anyone purchased the snuz pod3? )

MummyBearBoo · 22/06/2020 21:25

I tend to get low down kicks when I lay on my side if she kicks at the side I'm laid on!

I'm definitely eating more I seem to get heartburn if I don't eat I've put on 5lbs since before i was pregnant!! Xx

Spark27 · 22/06/2020 22:08

Hope everything is ok @Treaclepie19.

I just want to snack all the time. Even when I'm not hungry I'm still feeling a bit nibberly. I feel huge this time compared to last time. I just want cake, and biscuits and sweets. Having a make myself eat fruit. Baby keeps sticking her bum or head out, which doesnt help. Feels really uncomfortable and makes me feel massive.

I'm 26w 1d. Need to ring the mw to book in my 28w appt. Feels like forever since I saw them.

Anybody else feel like they're going to burst into flames this week? The forecasted temperatures just seem to be going up and up. Got a tescos delivery coming tomorrow and ordered loads of fruit, ice lollies, juices, etc. Ordered DH to make more ice cubes.

Treaclepie19 · 22/06/2020 22:18

Thank you!
They weren't concerned about the vision issues so I'll just carry on as I was.

I'm exactly the same @Spark27 just want to eat snacks and I'm really struggling with fruit and veg.
Feeling very worn out and low today and very much in need of an hour to myself.

Indigogirl88 · 22/06/2020 22:22

I'm so tired today as well. But I terms of kicks I'm getting more today than at the weekend and last week, they're still random and at random places but usually just right to my belly button but no real pattern yet
25w tomorrow

bluemoon2468 · 22/06/2020 22:37

I've been feeling really uncomfortable so I blew up my birthing ball today - such amazing relief! I've been sat bouncing on it all evening and I feel so much better 😊

MummyBearBoo · 22/06/2020 23:57

@bluemoon2468 I blew my birthing ball up last week and totally agree my back feels so much better when I've been on it a bit
DD keeps telling me we have to share and makes sure i let her have a go but she's only 4 so I have to hold her on it that has the opposite effect on my back pain!!! Xxx

Zaalfruit · 23/06/2020 07:11

To everyone getting back pains hope it eases up . I really want to get a birthing ball but our house is so cramped already , dh and me are struggling with space especially since we are wfh both works stations take up so much room.

@Treaclepie19 that’s a relief - do they know why that happened to your vision ?

Feeling less kicks today - normally I feel them at this time of the morning but I’m trying not to get to wound up .

I have my 28 week appointment booked for 9th July along side my gtt they said let’s do it together to avoid you coming in twice.

@MummyBearBoo you should get her a space hopper she can hold onto the ears and you won’t have to crouch down to help her.

Treaclepie19 · 23/06/2020 07:14

They didn't really seem to care much. In my last pregnancy I had vision problems and it was linked to migraines but this time I've not felt like I've had migraines.
They said to see the optician but obviously they're only doing emergency appointments.

Hope baby moves soon for you!

Anyone else feeling a bit burnt out with everything?
Im struggling not seeing friends/going out places/having my 4yo at home. He's really fed up and his behaviour is getting to be awful.

Indigogirl88 · 23/06/2020 07:15

@zaalfruit snap they said that to me for my 28 week appointment I think mines on the 14th. Our house is getting fuller as well and both still working from home for the foreseeable as well.
Also not had much movement yet, but I had quite a bit last night

25 weeks today for me!

blankiesandunicorns · 23/06/2020 07:45

I know what you mean @Treaclepie19 I'm struggling working from home with my DD here, plus our dogs got a cone on his head as got a cut on his paw so keeping us up all night whining that's 2 nights with no sleep and I'm emotional today! @Treaclepie19 can you meet a friend for a walk?

Treaclepie19 · 23/06/2020 07:46

@blankiesandunicorns see I'm not even working so I really shouldn't moan.
Your poor dog 😔 Not surprised you're emotional!
Yeah I keep trying to organise a walk but it just doesn't seem to happen. I shall keep trying!

blankiesandunicorns · 23/06/2020 07:46

Sorry don't know why that all came out bold 🙄

Spark27 · 23/06/2020 08:25

I know what you mean @Treaclepie19 and my situation is no where near as hard core as yours. The 2 days that DD goes to nursery are a godsend. Even though I end up being really busy doing housework, but it's just nice to have the space. I'm officially WFH but as I cant I'm just having to read/listen to stuff. But my work are so flexible, I'm lucky.

Really hoping the latest rules on shielding means my work will finally allow me back to work at some point. As we're not even shielding I cant see what their arguement is to not. It will be nice to be able to actually go and see people, even for a month or so.

And really hoping BoJo's announcement this afternoon might give us some more good news.

BntTowers · 23/06/2020 08:45

The movement of this baby is driving me insane, I'll have some long periods of quiet and then really active for a short burst then nothing until the next day. Just for 2 days or so then baby seems to get into a routine then it disappears again and is back to the quiet times.

I am so fed up with work I'm really hoping I don't have to go into the office again, plus I don't want to have to buy maternity office wear for a few weeks worth of wear. I'm still waiting to hear about my holiday days, even after reminding them.

@Treaclepie19 the vision issues sound like a lot to deal with on top of everything else! I'm feeling really burnt out, which is why I'm so desperate to get these holiday days sorted with work. I'm supposed to be going round to a friend's at the weekend to sit in their garden for a catch up which should be good. Not seems anyone in ages, but I do feel a little bad that it's a friend I'm seeing instead of my mum and step dad who we've only seen for an hour since march...

@MummyBearBoo @Zaalfruit idea of a space hopper sounds like fun, you can have your ball and she can bounce on that, even if you need to steady her, would it be a little easier on something a bit smaller?

NWnature · 23/06/2020 08:54

I’m late but congrats @Indigogirl88 ! Lovely news!

I’m still not feeling much movement at all. Have another midwife appointment on 7 July so hopefully by then will have more of a pattern. It’s so frustrating!

I got an ergo baby carrier from eBay! New for £45! They are about £140 in John Lewis! Bargain

Quiffy · 23/06/2020 08:55

@Treacle81 I love that! He's started kicking more in bed so could work wonders hehe.

@Treaclepie19 hope your eyes are okay

LostinAusten2 · 23/06/2020 09:07

Huge sympathies @Quiffy - I still get the morning sickness too so holding your hand for this one - really hope the GD year goes okay 🤞

And feeling very tired and sore as well folks, yoga ball arriving soon so hopefully that helps. Also feel a bit daft for making a big deal of it, but so relieved to have hit the 24 wk mark ❤️ Only 16 to go...

LostinAusten2 · 23/06/2020 09:08

“test” not “year” sorry - combo of predictive text and sleep deprivation working sooooooo well!

Treacle81 · 23/06/2020 09:15

Morning girls! @Zaalfruit I have the Snuzpod 3 bundle also, like the fact it has underneath storage and that the crib is mobile. @Treaclepie19 I have felt totally ‘fed up’ last two days, this rain isn’t helping. @NWnature was it a bid? I’ve been keeping eye on some but went for over £80 so well done!! @Spark27 also been feeling very warm, got fan on practically all the time! No covers in bed, feel like a furnace! Arm feels back to normal now though so hopefully sleep better now. Heartburn has been awful last two nights 😔xx

Zaalfruit · 23/06/2020 11:26

Ahh I’m so confused , I want the snuzpod3 but dh says get the Chicco dream as you can press the button with one hand. My bed is really low and witho it seeing these things I can’t make up my mind .

For all of us whose babies haven’t fallen into a pattern it’s soo annoying for example today I think she is having a quiet day and yesterday she was kicking me all day.

babymama09 · 23/06/2020 16:48

Hi girls,
How are you all doing not had chance to read through all your posts, baby is doing well still very sick but they are now discussing what to do when she is born the longer I can keep her going the more chance she has at being helped I am now 22 weeks and 5 days.
