Hi Ladies, here is our part two for pregnancy after miscarriage. X

Heya! I had a MMC in December (was horrible time for me - ended up needing surgery abroad). But on Monday I got a BFP 😍 feeling very happy but trying not to get too excited yet x

@BecsterG and @FireflyGirl well this has upended my scientific research! 50/50 now on whether it's a girl or a boy - back where I started!
I expected to have a small bump as I'm very tall and curvy but I am massive already, hoping it's just a few weeks growth spurt and I dont end up HUGE!
@MilsCookie I had very low NT measurement too, and combined with my blood tests ended upwards with very very low risk results which was a relief. If there was anything to worry about they would have said

Welcome @peonyrose87 and @Kat92 - huge congrats on your BFPs! @Kat92 your story is very similar to mine - I had a mmc at 12 weeks in November whilst I was in Vietnam, so ended up in hospital there for 3 days first trying the medical management which didn't work so ended up having surgery. It was so traumatic. Hope you're both doing okay - getting that BFP after mc is just the best feeling ever!

P.s. While I remember, @ChampooPapi I wondered if when you next update the list, could we include what gender people are having? I keep forgetting who's having what! Or I'd be happy to write the list if it's too much? Just thought I'd see what you thought x

All fine at my 16 week scan, had worked myself up into a frenzy all morning. Baby measuring perfectly, really really active and got to hear its little heartbeat 💞 was very emotional. Hopefully the next few weeks until 20 week scan will fly by!

@MilsCookie oh that's such a good idea yes lets do the babies genders too for sure! i'm obsessed with the list so i'm all for it, and it is so hard to remember. Easiest way is for everyone to post 'boy' or 'girl' and the I'll update with the genders as well as the extra day or two, each day is an achievement ladies so why not

@MilsCookie on the nipt, to be honest, now you've had the screening and you are going to have two/4 weekly scans, and then a full anomaly scan at twenty weeks. I personally wouldn't have it now in your circumstances. Yes 40 pounds is date night or drinks with the girls right! so no skin off your nose so to speak. But I think you'll be wasting 400 smackers on a test you really don't need now, so if I was in your position I'd be very comfortable with those results and when the others come back low risk, I'd draw a line under the whole nipt thing. You are going to be really closely monitored , its not like a single pregnancy where its the 20 week scan and nothing else! you are going to be scanned possibly every two weeks and as long as your pap a and hcg look good, don't bother with the harmony. You would be throwing money away I'd say in your personal circumstances. unless risk comes back as 1/300 or some such (nhs don't nipt you unless 1/150 or below). Then you don't need it now lovely

Still only flutters and possibly turning sensations but it's unsettling with this anterior placenta 😕 xx

Ahhhhh @whiffle77 I'm so happy for you!! Must have been so lovely to see baby jiggling about. Not long to go till your 20 week scan! Did they have any indications today about the gender? Can we see a pic? 😍

@ChampooPapi thank you so much for all your reassurance and advice about this NIPT stuff. I literally listen to and trust you more than I do any other source! Okay so I'm not going to bother with it unless my results come back 1/300 (I'll probably be asking you about it again when they come back 🙉🙈)

So I'm 11+5 today and obvs don't know the gender yet but I was naughty and paid someone online to analyse the scan photo and tell me the gender 🙈🙈🙈 and they came back with girls due to skull/chin shape!! So we will see... I would absolutely love two girls but equally would love two boys! I just really want them to be healthy and stay inside me as long as possible 🤞🏻💗💙

@AlviesMam I'm 21 weeks today and I've had no movement at all, flutters or otherwise. X

@AlviesMam, although I thought id felt a few little kicks last Friday, then again Mon, Tues, weds. But I've had nothing at all since so I think that it probably wasn't movement afterall.

Ive felt so poorly since my scan on Thursday, exhausted and sick. Just want to stay in bed 😣😣

@BS9790 is your anterior high? Mines on my notes as anterior high... I know it's normal not to feel anything at this stage but I always have to have something to worry about! Are you pretty calm about it? Xx

@BS9790 I'm with you on the exhaustion. Come 2pm I need a nap. How's your bump looking, I feel like I have a bump but sometimes I'm like hmmm it's a flabby bump, I want to pop!! 🙉🙈😂

Thanks @MilsCookie here is a pic! We asked not to know the gender but she said she couldn't see from the angle anyway 😍 its flown from my 12 week scan to here, so yes I think 20 will come around quick! Ahhh that's cute!!
Sorry to hear you are feeling rough @BS9790 hope you feel better soon. I have been back feeling as exhausted as my first trimester this week, so perhaps a big growth spurt at the min.

Funny you should say about being tired - I've just come back to bed for a nap!

I can feel flutters, and rolling, and I get a really heavy sensation deep in my pelvis which I think is her turning/stretching. I don't feel kicks like last time, but I think that's because she's facing down. I do get sudden 'shocks' which I think is her kicking downwards and hitting a nerve!

This is my 20 week bump, @AlviesMam, but I am short with a short torso, so I show really early because there's nowhere for anything to go except out. It was obvious I was pregnant from about 10 weeks.

I'm in a Facebook group for women due in November, and mine is definitely one of the biggest - lots of them just look like they had a good dinner!

@AlviesMam my nhs scan said its anterior and well away from cervix. At my private 16 week scan, they told me it was fundal and anterior, so goes sort of over the top and down the front. So guessing it is high..

No, I'm not calm at all. I'm stressing over it again even though I only had my scan 2 days ago 😂😂 it's so worrying. Xx

@AlviesMam, I feel similar to you. There's defo a bump but sometimes it just feels fat. I can suck it in a bit, so guessing some is lock down weight gain ha!
Im 5ft10 and was size 10 pre pregnancy, this is me last weekend xx
