Hi Ladies, here is our part two for pregnancy after miscarriage. X

Im waiting a few more weeks to display mine, I'm hoping it'll be a bit more impressive by 20 weeks! Some of the ladies on the other thread i'm on for due nov/dec have uploaded some brilliant bumps! This time is so precious, it's so hard to smell the roses because of our experiences and losses, but the bumps are reminding me that I need to do that more. This is a short time, and those babies will soon take over, in the best possible way, but they will become our obsessions. To be able to focus on just being and enjoying being pregnant is really precious and I'm going to endeavour to do this more

I can’t wait to have a bump! It’s the thing (other than the actual baby of course) that I’m looking forward to the most 🥰 All being well, fingers crossed and all that ❤️

Yes @MilsCookie it was private, most of the places round us have opened up again for reassurance scans only. DH has only seen beans on scans so far so he was so chuffed to see such a wiggly baby!
Thanks @ChampooPapi and you are so right. I'm still anxious but I'm trying to celebrate this little one every day, and the fact that I can be pregnant. Even if I dont get to take them home for whatever reason, they still deserve that. Some days harder to do than others! But every day is a win.

I slept terribly last night. Was really stuffy from hayfever, and then baby kept booting my bladder meaning I had to dash to the loo.

We were supposed to be having a lamb roast at DMIL's for tea (she lives alone, so we're allowed into her house now), but I've sent DH and DS without me, and I've gone back to bed

We had a few proper kicks last night that my hubby could feel, so guessing the ones I felt a few days ago were kicks after all.

I'm having bowel trouble today, TMI but I can't get off the toilet, I've been around 8 times. Not loose... Just can't stop going! Stomach is churny and gurgly but also had a few weird feelings... Not sure if baby or bowel related!
There's been a few proper kicks as well today, so now worried there's an increase in movement and if this could be a worrying sign.

Should I be concerned about the bowel movements, could it be a sign of anything wrong with the baby/pregnancy? Google helpfully told me it was a sign of preterm labour...!!

Literally panic about everything, but this is unsettling me. I just feel "weird"... Even though I'm sure it's probably nothing.

@BS9790 great that your feeling kicks! I've had movement this morning and this afternoon but can't say they are kicks, more like pops and bubbles but seem to be getting stronger!
Have you ate anything different that's making you go more? Make sure your staying hydrated and try and keep off google! If your going to the toilet as much tomorrow then maybe ring your midwife just to double but I'm sure all will be fine! Xx

If you're still worried, call your midwife. It's more likely to be digestive/baby laying in the wrong place, but worth speaking with someone. Hope you're doing better!

I had a lot of discomfort and tightness yesterday, like she was stretching or completely turning. At times it was really painful ☹️

@BS9790 my bowl movements go from being mega constipated where I feel I need to go all the time but can't to the complete opposite. I mentioned it at my booking appointment when I was 9 weeks as was so badly constipated. I've never experienced it before. She said not to worry and that it was hormones etc and that some women are the opposite and go a lot so I don't think it's anything to worry about but definitely call if you're concerned.

I've just taken a bump picture tonight although my bump isn't really grown in the last month or so. I generally take a pic every week to two weeks and there's no difference but there's so much movement in there I'm not worried. Trying to enjoy not being too big!

Meant to say I'm tall too, 5'11 so have more room for the baby.

I've been feeling movement just now, it feels like waves/ripples/rolls but seem stronger tonight! Is this normal before feeling kicks?
I've just had my dinner and she seems active lol! It only last a few minutes but they were the most amazing minutes! Is it normal for sensations like that to only last a short time? Could it mean shes changed positions?
I'm such a worrier!

@AlviesMam I'm the same with this one, I felt rolls first before little kicks. It's a strange sensation literally like someone is rolling themselves against your insides ha ha which is what the baby is doing. I don't remember that with my son but must have just forgotten. I too get extra kicks or movement every time I eat or drink something cold!

Yeah I guess it is quite neat for now. I'm 26 weeks so waiting for it to go boom! I think because I had an obvious numb early I was expecting to be a lot bigger now but I'll just enjoy not being massive. I have to say I'm very uncomfortable today. He's sitting so high right now.

I have the opposite problem, @BecsterG; she lays really low. It causes shooting pains, but isn't as uncomfortable as whatever she was doing yesterday!!

@AlviesMam I can't feel proper kicks yet, probably because she's kicking downwards, but lots of wriggling/rolling, and she does not like me wearing anything under-bump where the waistband sits where she is!!

@FireflyGirl ouch sounds painful. His kicks are often low but something was up in my ribs tonight. This is where my son hung out for the last few months so I hope boy no2 finds a different position! 😂

Welcome @peonyrose87 and @Kat92 . Apologies I've only just read all the messages I've missed. Really sorry about your MC but so pleased you've joined us in this group.

I ended up phoning for advice yesterday as just felt off it and had back ache & cramps and they wanted to check baby HB. All seemed fine.
@BecsterG before being pregnant I'd only go once or twice a week! It's usually once a day now, but not like Sunday 🙈🙈
Anyway, everything seemed OK and I'm glad I phoned in the end as they did say it warranted a check.

I haven't felt any rolling/moving, but do feel some jabs & kicks, is it normal for the kicks to come first? 😬

We finished decorating the babys room yesterday, we got it done whilst hubby hasn't as much work on and whilst I'm at home.
Looking more and more likely I'll be back to work in September (32 weeks!) so would like everything done by then as I'll be so busy come then! X

Glad you are feeling better @bs9790 and all is ok with the little one! Hope you are feeling a bit better today too @FireflyGirl but an afternoon on your own sounds like bliss 😂
I feel like I have gone back to first trimester tiredness this week, had to have a couple of naps! Got a face to face with the midwife today which is good, it was originally meant to be phone so I wonder if they are easing some of the restrictions!
Lovely bump @BecsterG! So exciting reading about other peoples movements, I dont think mine will be far away from how much they were wriggling on my scan at the weekend!

@BS9790 pleased all is well. Always worth calling if you're worried.

With my son I felt kicks first, with this one I felt rolls first so it's different for everyone and every pregnancy I guess. It will all come in time.
