Hi Ladies, here is our part two for pregnancy after miscarriage. X

@champoopapi pretty sure my periods arriving so will be into the next cycle 🙄🙄 but I do have a virtual hen do on Friday so atleast I can have prosecco.....a very small silver lining haha!

@Annny27 you will get there, it's just taking so bloody long isn't it, I know it's not 'In the scheme of things' but after the grief of your last pregnancy and now moving forward into June, it's just not fricking on really is it!

The only reason I log on some days honestly is to see if you or Sunnyside have got your positive tests and have joined this group. It's a hard road that's for certain, and the pregnancy part is also a bloody nightmare or worry but you both will handle it like the bosses you both are when the time comes. I envy a few generous pours come your virtual zoom hen do, have a couple for me 💞💞🥰

@ChampooPapi yes too blood long 🤣 in the grand scheme, I am only 28, its not been that long but when you want a baby you just want it now!!

@milscookie @whiffle77 Period arrived today so let's hope I am joining you all in July 🥰🥰 xxx

Got my scan on Friday and feeling so so nervous because of what happened last time. And there are so many possibilities this time what with it being twins... hoping they'll be able to give me a clearer idea as to whether they're in the same sac or not (mcma vs mcda). How is everyone else doing? xx

Good luck on friday @MilsCookie I'm sure everything is fine in there 🤞 how exciting to see your babes again! I'm doing ok thanks, finally told my boss today which I had been putting off. Got a private scan on saturday so my husband can meet the baby when it looks like a baby! I'm looking forward to it, my scanxiety is far lower than at my last two scans, but I'm sure it will ramp up the next few days. Hiw are you feeling generally?

Sorry for dropping off - I got overexcited and have been buying baby girl clothes. I've calmed down a bit now after hammering DH's credit card

@MilsCookie I've just realised you're due 2 weeks after Christmas with twins, that often come early - you might end up with Christmas babies!! Looking forward to seeing photos after tomorrow's scan.

@FireflyGirl yes I think for identicals it's pretty much standard to do a c section about 37 weeks so @MilsCookie is absolutely looking at having her babies pre Christmas. Highly likely a few days before or after!

Well his first response @FireflyGirl was "was it planned"?! Errrmmm...very odd considering he knew I had a MC! But after that he was good, just asked if I would be coming back to which I said 100% yes. Asked him not to tell anyone, I'd like to leave it a few more weeks for the rest of my team fingers crossed. Glad to have got it out the way though!
Ooof exciting that you have been buying things though!! I'm looking forward to buying something at some point, it will feel a little surreal!!

@ChampooPapi @FireflyGirl hey ladies - yes you're right I could very easily have Christmas babies! But they're currently MCMA twins (will hopefully find out a bit more tomorrow) which means they share a placenta and they're in the same amniotic sac, which is much higher risk than MCDA twins (same placenta but in their own sac). Because of the high risks of cord entanglement/TTTS, identical mcma twins have to be born at 32 weeks by c-section . This is why I'm so anxious to to see if they can see the dividing membrane between them tomorrow! They will still be high risk but would be less of a risk if they're actually MCDA. Will find out in about 17 hours!!

@FireflyGirl good for you buying some baby girl clothes- allow yourself to feel excited! I can't wait to do all of that but will be holding off for a loooong time because of how high risk this pregnancy is.

@ChampooPapi @FireflyGirl forgot to add - they could potentially be born as early as mid-November (all being well)!!

@MilsCookie oh goodness, yes these types of twins they want to get out between 32-34 weeks, so you will absolutely be having yours at the same time as me!. It really is a double blessing at first isn't it, until you read up on it all and realise, no! It's actually double the worry! Double the anxiety! I am the op of another thread on here and have learnt that ttts is fairly common in your type but it's equally as common for them to spot it really early and even operate if they need too while you are pregnant. Often they do this in the second trimester as this is when ttts starts to manifest due to the placenta forming. You never know, as they can't see the placenta until after 12 weeks properly then yours may have fused together. Friday can't come soon enough, I will be checking for you update miles honestly you must be going stir crazy for the scan now! Big hug to you and from Friday you'll be scanned so much and gain more and more information about them, they both have the best chance of being born healthy and perfect now you've got past ten weeks, odds are very very good for you now 💞

Had my anomoly scan today. He was being awkward, but they managed to get everything they needed.
He's a big baby 🙈🙈 still not much bump or movement though!

I had to do a lot of jiggling on Monday so they could get the heart measurements - she is face down into my pelvis, which is about as awkward as it gets, and then kept putting her hands wherever the sonographer was examining. I couldn't get any decent pictures ☹️

@FireflyGirl our picture isn't the greatest either, but the screen images were clear.
We had the same that he was face down in my pelvis at one time (when he wanted the check the face) but kept turning over and flipping around so just didn't stay still!

Yes, I'm 5ft10 and hubby is 6ft1. So I was expecting the long leg measurements but not the big head and tummy too 🙈

I'm assuming my height is linking to my smaller bump too!

Hey ladies...

All went well at my scan this morning (she was scanning me for a good half an hour so I got to watch them dancing for ages 🥰 it was the most magical thing I've ever seen!!!) both babies measuring as they should - actually 2 days ahead! So I'm now 11+4 and they said due date is 4/1/21 (if you fancy updating the list again @champoopapi haha!)

Twin A measured 48.5mm and twin B measured 46.0mm so both close in size!

AND... they're actually in their own sacs so they're MCDA twins, not MCMA and I'm so relieved!!!! They're still classed as high risk as they share the placenta but much less risky than mcma, which is what I was originally told they were. Basically this morning couldn't have gone better and my DP and I just feel so happy and relieved!! ❤️❤️❤️
