Hello!
I’m due 17th January with my second child as well. Symptoms this time have been quite similar to last pregnancy, a hell of a lot of nausea and always hungry!
What about you? How old is your DC?

Flouise92 · 05/06/2020 21:01

Hello! Congratulations
I’m due 7th January this is my first, all very new to me Smile
So far I’ve had awful nausea but I’ve only been sick once, it seems to be when I’m hungry I feel sick, very tender boobs.
Very excited and nervous at the same time just want to know everything is progressing okay, I have a private scan booked for 17th June Smile

Ukbentley · 05/06/2020 21:29

I had a private scan at 6 weeks 3 days and all looked well,I had a bleed and all the hospital said when I phoned was wait 2 weeks and do another pregnancy test and see if it comes back negative and they didn't seem very positive it would be a good result but all was fine glad I went and with the amount of symptoms I'm having now I think all is Smile

Moll0 · 06/06/2020 20:18

Hi, I am also 8 weeks pregnant with my second. My daughter will be 2 next month. I have also found my symptoms to be different this time around, especially the nausea and feeling completely exhausted!

WillowAndSprinkle · 06/06/2020 20:26

Congratulations everyone! Smile
The exhaustion is much worse this time, I put that down to running around after my 16 month old daughter as well as growing a tiny human.
Is there anything specific you ladies are finding helps with your nausea?

kim160790 · 06/06/2020 20:51

Hey everyone I'm due 18th January near DS#2 4th birthday 😆. Currently have 3 boys 8,3,1(2 next month) and I have never had morning sickness/nausea in pregnancy ever!! Until now 😔. The exhaustion is so bad not going to lie am struggling a little but my DH helps a lot he's been amazing. I could literally sleep all day x

Hannahp3 · 06/06/2020 20:56

Hi awaiting a dating scan but doctors seem to think nearly 8 weeks, third baby. Very anxious. Only symptoms I have are painful breasts and a constant empty/hungry feeling so much different to previous pregnancies with my girls!xxxx

MissHoney85 · 06/06/2020 21:04

8 weeks here, due on the 14th Jan. It's my first time and I'm a bit disconcerted because I haven't really had any nausea or particular tiredness. My boobs have grown and are a bit sore, and my skin is super oily, so hopefully those are good signs... I've told a load of people today (parents, siblings, close friends) as I'm a teacher and supposed to be going back to work next week, so needed them to know why I'm not. It's earlier than I would have liked to tell so now I'm super nervous that it's going to go wrong 😣

Ukbentley · 06/06/2020 21:37

I feel completely exhausted this time and being sick about 3 times a day at least never had this first time round but doctor and midwife said this is ok,my little girl will be just turning 4 when this baby arrives, also heartburn and constipation has been terrible along with headaches and sore boobs I think I'm getting it all this time feel like I have severe hangover everyday and I fancy something pacific to eat one minute I make it and the look of it and smell of it makes me feel ill, anyone had there booking appointment?i had mine a couple of weeks ago over the phone, also my scan came through about 3-4 weeks ago for 1st July

Willow I bought them sickness bands from boots and my initial thoughts were no way that's going to work but it has took the edge off slightly

StaceImpactWfan · 30/06/2020 09:28

Hi all, congratulations.

I'm due 25th Jan going by my dates. This is my 3rd and symptoms are so different to my boys, with my first I had severe sickness until 29 weeks, with my second I was really sick until 19 weeks but this time round I'm just nauseous which went around 9 weeks, tender breasts that still hurt and tired all the time. Also I started showing at 8 weeks (thought it was bloat but its there when I wake) I'm now around 10+6 and look like I'm 5 months pregnant, it's hard to hide haha.

Ukbentley · 30/06/2020 10:37

Congratulations girl for me first time and never had a lot of sickness and was well gone by 12 weeks this time was sick all day for 6 weeks was prescribed 2 different kind of tablets that didn't work I'm 12w 2 days and haven't been sick last 2 days green tea seems to have taken it away I hope anyway, got my scan tomorrow I'm very excited, are you going to find out what you are having this time

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 30/06/2020 11:09

@Ukbentley can't wait for my scan. Yeah my dp wants to know the gender we already have 2 boys so hoping for a girl but will be happy either way, we just want a healthy baby. Ds2 had a heart condition so we are panicking alittle that baby may have problems (not likely but the thought is always there). Are you finding out the gender?

Ukbentley · 30/06/2020 12:52

Yes I'm finding out 28th July,I feel quite anxious this time as had a difficult pregnancy from 32 weeks last time which ended in an emergency section at 37 weeks so not sure how this time is going to go trying to keep positive but can be hard when been feeling so awful also had a couple of bleeds this pregnancy but everything seemed fine,I would like a boy this time but same as you as long as they are healthy it really dose t matter, what age are your boys

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 30/06/2020 13:24

Glad everything turned out fine. They are 5 and 4. How old are your child/ren?

Ukbentley · 30/06/2020 14:04

Little girl is 3 and half so I think a good age as she is more independent, apart from not feeling as sick this time you had any other symptoms that was different this time round that was different from the last 2 times

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 30/06/2020 14:33

Ah that's a great age.

I'm more tired like I could literally sleep all day. My back hurts alot. And craving are different. I craved the same things with the boys which was salt and vinegar crisps and fish cakes. So far this time it's bacon and tomato sandwiches and wotsits. I've totally gone off chicken I can't stand it. I had no food a versions with the boys.

How bout you?

Ukbentley · 30/06/2020 19:43

I've not had any cravings this time but off a lot of stuff I love tea and Coke Zero and never had them in 6 weeks, with first it was maltesers and pickled onion crisps, roast dinners and chicken curry😂I feel a lot more tired this time round also but that could just be that I have another, bloating and constipation this time has also been terrible and finally sore boobs left yesterday👍

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 30/06/2020 20:49

Yeah the tiredness is so bad right now. I could literally sleep all day, if I could I would... I know it sounds stupid as I'm only 10+6 by my dates but I can feel baby moving. Its not all the time and only when I'm lying down and it's deffo not gass.

Ukbentley · 30/06/2020 21:38

So my husband was listing the other night and said he was feeling something on his face moving and I thought no way then last night I was lying on my side and I definitely felt it,it was that like a feeling like a somersault

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 01/07/2020 08:48

Yeah that's exactly what I feel.

Ukbentley · 01/07/2020 17:38

Well had my scan today and all was perfect the little one is measuring 13 weeks though so my due date changed slightly so glad everything was ok though
