Yeah they will give me the option at 20 weeks scan, well they did the last 2 times.

Ukbentley · 11/07/2020 17:58

I live in Scotland and they stopped years ago telling you they blank refuse and there is signs around the maternity unit to tell you don't ask,so Thant's only reason I'm going private, has your symptoms settled any yet

Hey, sorry for the late reply. How you doing?

Got my 20 weeks scan through today it's the 2nd September. I feel sick and dizzy constantly. I'm hoping it goes soon. I literally am struggling so bad right now. I just want to lie down 24/7 but can't.

Ukbentley · 16/07/2020 17:48

I felt really terrible between 12 weeks and about 13 and half but it all seems to have left apart from an odd day I feel tired and sore breasts are back and bloated and constipation Haven't still went away so hopefully it passes soon for you,I've got my gender scan next Wednesday so will let you know how I get on,also I'm definitely struggling to get anything to feel comfortable in I feel terrible everything I put on

I can't wait to see what you're having. Yeah I know the struggle with feeling comfortable, I've pulled out the maternity clothes already.

I really hope these dizzy spells leave soon.

Ukbentley · 19/07/2020 19:46

I got those dizzy spells they lasted about 4 days then left,I've had a couple of headaches this week and a day of feeling sick again but still feel a lot better than what I was,I'm getting excited now only 3 days then I can start buying a few little things, when do you normally start buying things?with first I was buying the minute I found out but this time I've held off never really had the urge😂yet anyway

Im so happy for you. Not really the throwing up won't stop been like it for over a week now. But thank you for asking. Hope you're well.

Ukbentley · 26/07/2020 15:59

I got sickness back 3 days ago and finding it hard to keep anything down again hoping it's just a few days of it again as that was terrible for all those weeks,I was feeling great aswell😂

OP posts:
Ukbentley · 06/08/2020 20:17

You been feeling any better?

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 06/08/2020 21:58

Hey, no not really. Spoke to the midwife today and she said it's normal and to just deal with it pretty much. If anything I feel worse. But baby is moving around alot so that's the main thing... Thanks for asking. How are you?

Ukbentley · 06/08/2020 23:59

I've got the sickness and dizziness back too been here for a week and when I asked they just said the same,I also am on antibiotics as I'm now group strep b they have said but took them over 2 weeks to let me know and they never really told me much about it either, also on aspirin the rest of the pregnancy for my last little girl being so small I'm just trying to take it a day at a time as can overly worry,I've not felt too much movement lately a few weeks ago I really felt it,my bump has really grown though I feel the same size as I was when i gave birth at 37 weeks last time

OP posts:
mintich · 07/08/2020 12:12

Hi everyone! I'm due 16/1 with my 3rd child. I have my 20 week scan at the end of the month and I will be finding out!
My bump is absolutely massive this time (although i generally have very big bumps anyway) and am feeling very sick

Ukbentley · 07/08/2020 13:29

Hi congratulations I'm due 6th of January, also have scan end of month, has your sickness been there from the start

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 10/08/2020 13:25

Hi @mintich congrats. I'm due 16th Jan with my 3rd too, find out 2nd Sept what I'm having hopefully.

@Ukbentley I'm feeling alot better the past 2 days but don't want to jinx it. How you doing?

Ukbentley · 18/08/2020 10:06

I'm ok,still sick wishing this would leave now getting 3-4 days a week where can't keep anything down and rest of the days sick at least once, have my 20 week scan and clinic on Friday so will speak to them about it then, feeling nervous for this scan just hoping all is well, also started finally feeling proper kicks 2 days ago so that's been lovely, how are you keeping

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 18/08/2020 11:27

Oh no, hopefully they will be able to give you anti sickness tablets or something. I'm feeling alittle better thanks, still sick some morning but not as bad as I was. Awwww that's awesome bout the kicks, I can see when baby moves now or pokes a arm or leg out. Can't wait to find out what I'm having although I'm convinced it's another boy haha. Hope you feel better soon.

Ukbentley · 18/08/2020 22:29

Thanks, when the proper feelings come it's the best feeling in the world, are you showing yet I thought I was but it was all bloating I haven't got a bump

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 20/08/2020 12:10

Yeah, I am showing. Its really hard to hide now, I didn't want people to find out til after 20 weeks so I hardly leave the house haha. But once the kids are back at school I won't be able to hide it much.

Ukbentley · 20/08/2020 15:17

When I tell people I'm 5 month pregnant there looking at me as if I'm mad hopefully will start showing next couple of weeks,I feel it's going very fast since 12 weeks scan, what dates your scan?i have nine tomorrow just hoping all is well

OP posts:
Ukbentley · 21/08/2020 19:42

Well I have to get a repeat scan in 10 days as baby was upside down and facing my back haha and would not budge

OP posts:
StaceImpactWfan · 22/08/2020 20:02

Awwww bless him, hopefully they will get all the measurements they need next time.

Mines 2nd sep, excited but nervous as with my second they told me he might of had downs syndrome (1 in 7 chance) and he had a hole in his heart etc.

Ukbentley · 22/08/2020 21:12

I hope everything is ok for you on the 2nd not long now ,do you find that when something is wrong in a previous pregnancy it kind of hangs over you in the next pregnancy?i feel like that I'm beginning to get anxious and worrying about this baby,my growth scans start at 28 weeks so just taking it a day at a time my repeat scan is on 1st September
