@Rnic1x so please everything is ok and you got another scan 🙏🏻💕
I've got a scan on Sunday.. I'm feeling a bit worried but hoping the sickness is telling me everything is ok!

Rnic1x · 22/05/2020 19:32

@ew1990 try not to worry I thought the worst and it was a water infection, little one was moving around and rolling over it was amazing to see.

@djmbaker thank you lovely, I am so happy I got another scan baby has doubled in size in nearly 2 weeks was mad to see. I haven't had sickness or nausea really recently which worried me but as I am further on she said it's normal to start easing from 9 weeks which is about right. Is your scan private? Xx

djmbaker · 22/05/2020 19:40

@Rnic1x yep private, I should be 9 weeks but we shall see.. I just thought it seemed a bit small last time compared to online measurements but my midwife said that's normal so I'll be relieved to see it's grown and it's ok. It's bloody stressful isn't it??? 😂😂😂

Rnic1x · 22/05/2020 19:42

@djmbaker I was surprised my dates were wrong by 5 days tbh 😂😂 yes it really is causing us stress already, no doubt be a little monkey and it's preparing me 😂

ew1990 · 22/05/2020 20:15

Thanks guys. I'm sure it's nothing. It's early morning so dont have to wait around all day

LoveSunshine01 · 23/05/2020 07:56

Hope it goes well today @ew1990

djmbaker · 23/05/2020 10:55

How is everyone today?

Hope your scan goes well @ew1990 🙏🏻

I am absolutely shattered today, my partner left for work at 6.30 and I went back to bed... to then wake up at 10.30 which is just not me 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ it was only the dog crying at the door that woke me I think 😂😂

My boobs aren't as sore today, just the sides are aching not all over .. which has worried me ever so slightly but I've got my scan tomorrow at least!

Hope your all ok x

notalwaysalondoner · 23/05/2020 12:30

Sadly my early scan confirmed an anembryonic pregnancy - the gestational sac has continued growing at the right rate for my date of 8 weeks but the embryo was not there so has stopped growing or been reabsorbed very early. I’ll need to likely have medical management (pills or surgical) to remove the sac.

Good luck to all the rest of you ladies with your Christmas babies!

calipoppy · 23/05/2020 12:57

So sorry to hear that @notalwaysalondoner please take it easy and look after yourself, it's such a difficult time but make sure you take your time to process it and let yourself be supported by your family ❤️

The last 2 days I've had pains a little bit similar to period pains on and off, I'm 10+5. Has anyone else had similar at all? It's got me worrying!

ew1990 · 23/05/2020 13:36

My scan was not good news ladies. Baby's heartbeat stopped at 9+1 and I should've been 10+4 today. Got to go on Tuesday for pessary.

Good luck to everyone else x

Jasminex1 · 23/05/2020 13:44

I'm so sorry to hear that @ew1990 & @notalwaysalondoner 💕

@calipoppy I get the same every so often, currently 9+5. Try not to worry! I think it can be down to growing/stretching

djmbaker · 23/05/2020 13:49

Thanks for your thoughts everyone. Just wish my body would start it naturally. I work at the hospital so everyone I've seen I know which makes it harder.

I'll keep checking in on you all every now and then.

@londoner so sorry for you too

I'm due 21st December and can't wait for the first scan still 2.5 weeks to wait. Can't bring my husband though which is a bummer due to coronavirus.

Been googling and thinking a lot about the Christmas birthdays to come and how to make them special!

Also. Nausea is just... Ugh.

Mummatobe2020 · 23/05/2020 16:04

My condolences for both ladies that have lost their babies. So sorry ❤

december2020 · 23/05/2020 16:06

Mummatobe2020 · 23/05/2020 16:08

@Glassboatsailor

I'm due on the 23rd according to my own calculations and my first scan is next Thursday! I'm in the sane boat as you:-)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been loving reading all your messages and seeing how everyone is feeling.

It’s my first pregnancy all round. I’m feeling really confused as we decided to try not long after my mum passed away (6 weeks later). When I was at the hospital with her, seeing that our bond was so strong and really the most important thing in my life, it pushed me to finalise the decision. We got lucky first time around and here we are. However, now I’m 9 weeks pregnant I’m really struggling to be exited and mostly overwhelmed by my grief still. I feel totally exhausted both emotionally and physically. And frankly a little silly for under estimating the effects of pregnancy.

Anyone else feeling overwhelmed?

I’m sorry to all those who suffered a miscarriage and hope I don’t sound ungrateful to be where I am now.

Lori86 · 23/05/2020 17:34

I'm so sorry to hear about your losses ew & londoner. I had a miscarriage in March so I can understand somewhat how you both must be feeling. When you're ready there's wine great communities here of supportive women who have gone through similar losses. In the meantime be good to yourselves and lean on family & friends for support xx
