Hi, hardly been on here, how is everyone,? still as sick as a parrot 😔

I’ve been feeling much better lately! Not much nausea at all, trouble is now I want all the food!!! I’m finding sleeping difficult though, even though I’m tired.

Countdown to scan is now on, at least I can now say it’s this month!!

I'm feeling much less sick yesterday and today so far... Nausea is still there but very minor. Fingers crossed this is the beginning of the end of morning sickness! I'm 11 weeks today.

Cannot wait for the scan next week, then we can tell people. Noone knows except me and DH (unless the dog and the midwife count?).

Does anyone have any cute ideas about how to tell people? We have to do it socially distanced so I've bought 4 pregnancy reveal cards to send to each of our parents. They have a scratch off part on the front that reveals "we're pregnant!". Or in my mum's case "only the best mums get promoted to Grandma". Planning to tell them not to open them till we can watch them on zoom!

@PocoyoandEllie that's amazing, lovely scan picture. Who did you book your private scan with? I am not sure how to find one where partners can come.

@Glassboatsailor this is an independent one I think and I just messaged to ask and they said they are allowing one person from the same household in with you x

I’ve been feeling really anxious because my nausea disappeared about a week ago - I’m only 10+1. Hopefully that’s normal (or just lucky!) but I’ve booked a 2nd private scan for tomorrow just to check. Keeping fingers crossed everything is fine and I’m just being dramatic - but the good news is my husband can come in to the scan room this time! This place tells you on its website what is being allowed or changed for covid.

Hi everyone!

Had my scan today - all is fine! For anyone worried about no symptoms you can hopefully get a bit of reassurance from that as my symptoms have been gone for about 2 weeks (except occasional bloating)

They dated me at 11+2 with a due date of the 19th but I have another scan on Friday to confirm dates and do the blood tests. It was WEIRD seeing a baby inside me.

Now to work out how to tell people!!

Yes and my DS is born on 11/12 so either a week early or late and I am going to be crashing a big event 😅

@LoveSunshine01 such fantastic news, and I really appreciate you saying that about symptoms. I think all of us really panic about it so it’s super reassuring to hear when others have gone through it and all is well.

My symptoms have got easier in the past few days, I haven't been sick since last Tuesday but the nausea is still here.. I've been managing it with food. It definitely gets A LOT worse when I'm hungry. I'm booking a private scan for Sunday though when I'll be 11 weeks as annoyingly the hospital didn't even have me registered so they haven't allocated me a 12 week scan.. so they are "sorting" that now 🙈

Anyone feeling bigger??? I saw my mum today and she couldn't believe I've got this pop belly (I'm a size 8 normally) so it's really showing!! I am only comfortable in dresses right now.

My sickness seems to have settled slightly only once a day at the moment and the UTI pain is easing more so assume baby is moving up a little maybe and not pinching. Feel like a new woman 😂

I've been naughty and used a Doppler. I had the AngelSounds one with DS1 and remember it working early and I've used it since Friday so 9weeks. Instantly regretted it as it's tricky to find and I'm just playing silly mind games. But with patience I've found it each time and used the app to record it on to my phone! Says it's about 160bpm very cute.

I've got more energy and have been out the last couple of days just down to the beach and walking a bit more. I've been reading all the thread but I am so boring I don't have anything to post. I ordered some maternity clothes off ASOS and top shop. I ordered a few autumn/winter coats in the sale. Some jeans and a few dresses.
I never wore maternity clothes with my boys but I've gone big I'm usually an 8 so I bought a ten and I can't zip them up or it's painful. I may buy a bump band.

Funny reading about the sunburn and sensitive skin. I have naturally tanned skin I'm very dark and hairy (or yellow tinged skin in the winter 😕) I didn't wear suncream walking on the beach over the weekend as I never have before locally and I didn't think to. I've had my first ever sunburn ! My mum couldn't believe it.

I'm in Wales and today is our first day of lockdown easing. My neighbours next door (moved in late summer last year) had people round Friday and they were so loud all night music going up to 12 and today they're having an actual party so it's going to be worse. They smoke loads too and I can smell it coming into my house. I'm just irritable and tired anyway but it's so hot and I want my window open. I just think it's rude. If it were me I would let them know before hand and keep it down after a certain time. Sorry I sound like I belong on another board rn it's just frustrating hearing their music at midnight.

Oooh the Doppler sounds good.. I may wait until after 12 weeks? I feel so close too it now and I'm so calm that I don't want to stress myself out 😂😂 my partner keeps doing the most cutest thing at night, he lies his head on my tummy to see if he can hear anything.. I honestly don't have it in me to explain he won't but I get so choked up every time he does it 😭😭😭 hes a huge 6ft 3 tree surgeon and I find it so cute how sensitive he is being!! Sorry I'm being soooo sickly there girls 😂😂

Second baby for me. Im currently between 9+4 and 10+1. I had a private scan last week which put me due 31/12/2020 but feel like i am a little further, i have my dating scan in 2 weeks so will get a proper date then.

Is anyone else really bloated?? I actually look 6 months at the minute 🙈

My boobs are swollen now and my stomach looks like I've eaten allll the pies! I'm normally such a flat stomach but I'm reminding myself of my previous chunky times 10 years ago 😩😩

Haha rant over. So nice to start seeing the 12 week scans on here! I've also ordered some dresses online but I've just ordered like loose /smock style as opposed to actual maternity clothes, hoping they will see me through the summer, before needing maternity wear in autumn.

Got an email from work this morning to say they are leaving us working from home until at least the end of August! I know I should be relieved but I just want my life back. I'm too sociable to work from home thank god I have my dog to talk to 😅

@Shazzzzz welcome! Just over 10 weeks myself I call my bloating a 'Blump' bloated bump!

Confident I look huge. Confirmed by my mother lol. Hubby says I just look a 'corona piggy'.

On another note, I was just sick for the first time 😣 thought I'd avoided actual vomiting but no such luck.

I do envy those that look fab pregnant. I definitely just filled out to the sides with my other two.

Is anyone else getting uncomfortable in bed ? It almost feels like a weight in my uterus pulling.
I bought a pregnancy pillow to try and get comfy but I think I may try a v pillow under the belly and between the legs. The 12ft pillow is too big and I'm getting a bit flustered. I am very dramatic this evening.

The NDN music and actual screeching is still ongoing. There's only about 5 houses on this street too so it's probably annoying others. One close neighbour has messaged me she has a 12 hour shift at 7 and isn't happy. I'm not a kill joy and I love a bbq but they are actually screaming and banging all sorts. So I'm now in DP boxers and a sports bra star fishing over the duvet as I didn't buy a fan in time.. I hope he stays downstairs til I fall asleep as I don't think I can deal with him too 😂

Also if anyone has any breakfast suggestions for me ? I am sick with bile in the mornings and I can no longer stomach tea or coffee. I'm starving so want to eat but everything I am eating is unsettling me so far. X

Morning ladies! Good tips on loose dresses for summer, I think I might have a look today as even my leggings are feeling tight now!

@dixiedo I've been having a bowl of cereal with chopped banana and coconut milk as I've totally gone off dairy, I have that as soon as I wake up then toast/toasted tea cake about 2 hours later
