Woops pressed send too soon! On my worst days I literally just had a piece of granary toast with butter which seemed to go down quite well! It depends what you feel like you can stomach but those have worked for me :)

Gingernutlady · 02/06/2020 08:00

Brioche rolls and a glass of water. Or cereal with any kind of milk. Can't handle anything hot anymore.

Haven't had a cup of tea in months!

calipoppy · 02/06/2020 08:01

I'm exactly the same with tea! Literally only the last 2 days I've started to think maybe I could face tea again haha. Haven't been brave enough yet though 😂

GlassboatSailor · 02/06/2020 08:09

Oh my god I'm the same with tea & coffee. Can't stomach the thought of it! I really miss having a nice cuppa.

I eat a plain cracker when I need plain food. Seems to settle my stomach ok but yeah. It's pretty boring and dry!

GlassboatSailor · 02/06/2020 08:11

Or I have balance cereal (like special k) with oat milk. Not real milk.

PocoyoandEllie · 02/06/2020 08:20

I used to love tea and now even the thought of it makes me 🤢

Can anyone link me to the asda pregnancy pillow? I am sure it was mentioned on one of our threads but I can’t find it!

Nic2908 · 02/06/2020 08:44

@PocoyoandEllie is it this one?? direct.asda.com/george/baby/hospital-list/kinder-valley-12ft-maternity-pillow/050297393,default,pd.html

Sorry been so quiet on here guys, I have still been reading and catching up on all you lovely ladies. Fruit and Fibre has been my breakfast saviour, not only because it seems too stay down but because it seems to have helped my constipation.

@gingernutlady I am the same with brews, I was the tea queen at work, literally brewed up for everyone all day long. The thought is turning my stomach. I have had a few funny looks turning down brews out work as it's so out of the ordinary for me.

I'm still waiting for my harmony test results, I feel like I am sat waiting by the phone. Midwife that did it said it can take 5 working days at it goes to London, but it's also a Covid lab so it may take longer. Today is the 5th working day...... I'm anxious but trying to destract myself also.

PocoyoandEllie · 02/06/2020 09:19

@Nic2908 that is great thanks! I now can’t decide between the 12ft pillow or the caterpillar one, both same brand and similar price and good reviews!

calpolatdawn · 02/06/2020 10:52

Hi how is everyone? ive barely been on, due to my morning sickness, Its my dating scan on Friday, but im scared my BMI is over 50 and i. worried it will go very wrong or i will end up with a, rude sonographer or both. i appreciate its not good to be overweight but there's not much i can do about it rn, amd with underactive thyroid /metabolism it's not as straightforward for me. im just really worried. Sad

Rnic1x · 02/06/2020 13:32

Hi girls, so still nobody knows I'm pregnant I'm finding it pretty much impossible to hide I am massive 😂 the last scan I went for just over a week ago I was measuring right and only 1 in there today I am 11+2 and I feel like a whale! Anybody else showing loads already? It's not all bloat as I can't breathe it in and I can't even blame eating more as I'm still off my food half the time 🙈 I was only small and my partner as a newborn I don't think this one will be.

There is no way I can wear this until people find out 😂

Hope everyone is ok xx

Katbaby · 02/06/2020 13:36

Hey @Rnic1x I was just thinking you'd been quiet on the chat! I can't believe how much youre showing you look lovely though it suits you I also love your outfit but yes think you need to save it til people know haha!

I've been suffering today with sickness again after a week of it tailing off!

@calpolatdawn try not to worry, if your still so sick shows your hormones are doing something right and baby is taking all your goodness!

@katbaby I've just been out in the sun all weekend 😂 been so busy!

Its lovely isn't it, just a boohoo maternity one, I got it just to see what they were like only £12 I might order another colour.

It has all of a sudden just popped out, I had just ate my dinner but it was only a sandwich nothing massive 😂 my friend was absolutely massive with her last baby and he came out at 7lb so fingers crossed I don't have a chunk 😂

Aww no still 😭 hopefully it goes away soon you'll be nearly 12 weeks won't you? Xx

Bumble84 · 02/06/2020 13:48

@Rnic1x wow, that’s so amazing but also must be such a pain for you! Is this your first?

Showing aside it is a super cute outfit! I’d be wearing it everyday once people do know 😂

I just feel like I’ve put on weight but not baby weight which I think is accurate. I used to walk a lot in my job but now I’m working from home. I really want to keep working out because everyone says it helps with pregnancy and labour. Has anyone found any at home videos that they enjoy? Not yoga as I hate it but maybe lighter aerobics? I’m quite happy to pay to subscribe.

calpolatdawn · 02/06/2020 13:59

Thanks Katbaby im still trying to keep that in mind x

LoveSunshine01 · 02/06/2020 15:43

@Rnic1x wow your bump looks amazing! I'm almost exactly the same dates and I just feel podgy 😂

I bought my first maternity purchase though! I got these shorts from asos cos all my others are high waisted and were only just doing up!

www.asos.com/asos-maternity/asos-design-maternity-chino-short-with-under-the-bump-waistband-in-stone/prd/13554917?colourwayid=16546575&SearchQuery=&cid=5813

I'm super happy with them, the fabric seems good quality and they're comfy. Just had to go a size down cos they were quite baggy between the legs. Haven't seen any denim ones I like yet though so if anyone finds anything good...!

Natt99 · 02/06/2020 15:56

@Bumble84 I'm the same, used to be quite active before lockdown. I've been using Les mills on demand, you can get it on your tv (if smart or through Xbox) or phone, laptop. Been doing body balance, body pump, combat etc. It's only £11pm but did have a 14 day free trial to test it out.
Really hope my gym opens soon so I can go spinning!
Lovely bump @Rnic1x 😍 I've got a bit of one too but not as obvious as yours, just looks like I've eaten a lot of bread 😂

Rnic1x · 02/06/2020 16:03

@Bumble84 yes this is my first 😂😂😂 I love it but it's so hard to hide 🙈

@LoveSunshine01 ASOS do great maternity wear, I got a few bits from boohoo only cause I have next day delivery 😂 I feel huge today I wonder if my dates are a little out...

@Natt99 thanks lovely ❤️

lc86 · 02/06/2020 18:58

Had our dating scan today, measuring 13+2, thought I was only 12+3 so that was a nice surprise! I honestly feel so much better after the scan, we had early private scans at 6 and 8 weeks but today's scan was amazing. Baby wouldn't stop moving ❤️

dixiedo · 02/06/2020 19:17

@lc86 wow !!!! How lovely xxxxxx

makingababy · 02/06/2020 19:24

We had a private scan today - all good and baby was wriggling around lots! 😊 measured at 10+4 and I thought I was 10+2 - so who know really, but it did change my EDD to Xmas day 😂 I feel so much better having seen it thrashing about.

lc86 · 02/06/2020 19:25

@dixiedo 😊 I'm on cloud 9 x

Helski123 · 02/06/2020 20:15

Hi everyone! I'm new to mumsnet and have just discovered this thread. It's so great to see others at the same stage of pregnancy as me (I'm 10 +2, first baby). So exciting to see scan pictures, I've not had any private scans so counting down the days to my NHS dating scan on the 17th. I know things can go wrong but all I can feel is excitement atm. It also helps that the nausea has been easing over the last few days so feeling more normal.

Bumble84 · 02/06/2020 20:21

It’s so strange, I’m so happy for everyone on this thread and ones that have had their scans and yet we’re all strangers! Or at least we think we are, we might not be!

I can’t wait for my scan on the 17th now, wishing the days away so that we can actually tell people. Still planning on keeping quiet until Father’s Day when we can give our Dads the nice surprise!

Helski123 · 02/06/2020 20:30

It hadn't even occured to me to wait until fathers day, that's a great idea! Not sure I can keep it quiet for that extra few days though 😂

lc86 · 02/06/2020 20:50

@Bumble84 aww I wish I could have waited until Father's Day! I'm just so impatient lol, plus the size of my belly is a real giveaway 🙊
