@ew1990 I had exactly the same! Mine arrived with about 5-6 weeks to wait and it seemed forever away and now it's almost here! Oh god are you managing to work and take care of your 2 year old? I'm working from home so it keeps me busy but this is my first. I think I'm just being a worry wart hoping everything is ok at the scan.

How is everyone today? I'm only working 3 days next week before I'm off for the bank holiday - wooohoo!! Hoping today is a bit more productive than my super lazy day yesterday!

How are we all getting on this morning?

For those who are still waiting for their appointments I'd maybe give them a call just to make sure nothings been lost in the post, the last thing you need is getting to 12weeks and you miss your appointment. Mine arrived within a week although different areas may be more busier than others.

How are we calculating our dates? If it's from last period then I would be 7weeks3days today ! The 25th of June cannot come quick enough for my scan just need that reassurance that everything is going how it should be though the daily all day nausea is quite reassuring in itself x

@ElectricTonight yes I went of LMP I thought I was due Christmas Eve but after scan turns out I was a day out and due Christmas day, pretty much spot on though.

My 12 week scan is a bit later though I'll be 12+6 but I'm not really bothered it will mean only 2 weeks 1 day until my gender scan then 😂x

Yes I got my letter 2 days after my booking appointment so I agree chase them up, they'll probably be able to tell you day and time over phone. Xx

Sorry I've been quiet recently, just been watching as usual! My symptoms have largely been the same recently, tablets not as good as they were at the start but I can eat so that's good enough for me!

Had my booking in appointment on Friday but it wasn't with my midwife, so no idea when I'll get to meet her! Got to wait for a letter for my scan date but thinking it should be soon because by LMP I'm now 10+5 (even though in reality I'm closer to 9+5)!

Finally caved and bought first few baby bits the other day, just a few vests, but worried that I won't be able to stop now that I've started!

Anybody else feel like they've got baby brain already?! Probably just the tiredness, but finding the right words send impossible right now!!

I only had my booking in appointment on Thursday so still time for the letter! They don’t allow you to have a booking in appointment before 8 weeks so must be used to sending the letters out fairly quickly afterwards.

My midwife did say that if it gets to 12 weeks with no letter, then give them a call.

@Rnic1x aww that's lovely Christmas Day due date! My 12weeks scan is booked for when I will be 13weeks, feels like forever away atm!
I can't wait to see all of our 12w scans and guess the sex it's all so exciting 🥰

Morning gang! I can't actually believe it but I woke up this morning feeling totally normal - it's been so long I had forgotten what this felt like! Even if it only lasts today I'm so thankful to have a break from symptoms!

Good idea those who said to call, I'll wait till weds as that'll be a week after my booking then I'll call them.

I'm 9+6 today by my calculations, I don't have a LMP as I got pregnant straight after my MC. So I'm taking the day I got a positive OPK and adding 2 weeks to it haha. So I'm probably wrong!!

Ahh it’s funny you mentioned sex @ElectricTonight - both DH and I have always said we’d want a boy first, so for that reason, I kind of think I’m having a girl!

@YahBasic you never know ♥️ I love the nub theory I think it's now become a hobby of mine 😂 I'm unsure what I'm having right now I think boy. I also read (old wives tale) about if you dream about a baby being a certain sex it's usually the opposite though I've had two dreams one was a boy the other was a girl so unless I'm having twins I have no idea 😂xx

Hey guys, had every intention of posting and keeping up to date with this chat regularly but felt shocking these last few days. Only been up since 10am and been sick 6 times already which is a new record for me. Not sure what's normal and not when it comes to morning sickness really? Anyone else struggling with it I'm 8w+3 and read it peaks at 9 weeks.

I feel bad for complaining about it as I know it's meant to be a good sign and would probably worry if it just stopped. Just been feeling really upset about it today. Probably just a feeling sorry for myself kinda day...

Hey guys. Wrote a long post and I've lost it !
I went for my scan yesterday in chester. I won't post where but I don't recommend it.
I was in and out the door in less than ten minutes including the paperwork and payment of £70
Spent most of the time looking at ovaries and showed me the baby and the heartbeat for about thirty seconds or less.
I wasn't offered a vaginal scan even though the scan wasn't clear. I had explained about the UTI and bladder issues and I drank 1l of water on the journey. So it was disappointing and I'm glad I have another booked elsewhere for this week.
On the bright side...
I saw the baby, and the baby had a heart beat and is in the right place which I was worried about with all the UTI pain etc.
So it was nice and reassuring !
They pushed me back a little to EDD of 4/01 which is my birthday too.
I'm still hoping this one follows suit and comes at 39 weeks as my birthday is a rubbish date as an adult 😂😂 of course any day will be fine. Although I don't know if we will be classed as a Christmas baby anymore 😔

I can't wait to get out of this rubbish first (worst) trimester and start to feel normal again and let myself get excited. X

It's not letting me add my own pictures. Only take one on here. I'll have to wait for DP to come back as he's popped the pics somewhere to hide from the boys. I have a video of the scan too although it's hard to make anything out x

I was pushed back from what I thought was Xmas day to jan 1st so you aren't alone lovely 😊
