I have been cleaning the house all day, haven't felt sick today so that's good. I also got all my appointments in the post so my 12weeks scan is on the 25th June, I think I would be 13weeks though going from my LMP.

Hope everyone is doing well, I've been watching Ozark on Netflix I'm loving it!

@ElectricTonight we have been binge watching that, I have felt so rough today so been on the sofa for hours watching it. Thank god for Netflix!

So here is our little bean, there is definitely only one in there! the scan was fab. We are measuring a bit further along than we thought 7+3 yesterday but we were actually 8+1 new EDD is 23rd December. Saw a beautiful little heart beat. Makes it all feel real

So lovely to see all these pictures! Next ones will be 12w scans, eeek! Exciting!

On a rubbish note my sons hamster, his absolute pride and joy died last night an oh did we sob! Hence the late post.

Symptom wise I’m still very much with you all on the sickness and just feeling rubbish, seems to be every other day that it really hits! And oh my bejesus nipples! I am very aware of them, so sore at the minute!

Now I need to catch up with the thread 🙈

Aaah!!! Such amazing scans!!! 🥰 what great news!

I'm so happy it's Friday! I'm ready for the weekend and no screen time! Especially as next week I'm only working 3 days. Woohoo!

I'm feeling a bit hayfever-ish. All snotty and sneezy. Really not fun! And I've been dreaming of property in London (ideally would love to live in the country side or suburbia - but I have no clue how we could make it work commuting 1.5h+ each way daily). So I think going closer to London is our only option.

Morning! I've got to go in to get my bloods taken this morning for second part of booking appt. I have managed to get myself really anxious, the list of tests seems so long I'm scared they're going to take so much blood! I know I'm being stupid, I think it's just because I'm feeling so light headed and nauseous I'm not sure how I'll handle it. Has anyone had theirs done yet?

@calipoppy I had my done a few weeks ago it's no different to normal blood tests only about 4 tubes x

Thank you @Rnic1x I had really got in my own head I think 😅 normally fine with blood tests not sure what happened... I'll blame hormones x

@calipoppy because the receptionist booked me in wrong with the midwife I turned up face to face in a 20 minute appt so they couldn't do my booking in but she said she would do all the tests so that when I have my phone appt I wouldn't have to go back, so I had the bloods etc last week. It's fine I'm funny with needles normally anyways so I just ask to lay down especially cos I get so light headed normally and obviously worse now. Even if you just say you've been suffering from the light headedness and would like to lay down think it makes it easier for me! I dont look but think she took 4/5 tubes but they fill so fast it really doesn't last long.

So I'm also glad it's Friday even though I'm not working just means I have hubby to keep me company 😁 and ever closer to Tuesday 🤞.

I'm feeling okay this morning did a steady bit of dry retching and throwing up water this morning but managed some cereal and it's settled my tummy again

I am measuring correctly with a strong heartbeat 💕 but have had brown discharge for ages that doesn't seem to be stopping, but no one is worried lol xx

Hi all! Have been lurking for a while but didn’t post as have been nervous of anything going wrong (had two previous chemical pregnancies). Bit unsure of dates (long, sometimes irregular cycles between 32-39 days) so won’t know until my early scan which is booked for the 25 May! I thought I was out this time as I took pregnancy tests on days 34 and 38 which were both negative. Didn’t test again until day 45 and got a positive. GP thinks anywhere from 16 - 25 December. This will (all going well) be our first.

Have had very few symptoms but am glad to be able to WFH - makes it much easier to keep it a secret!

Morning ladies,

Well having no symptoms yesterday I've been struck with the worse mouth watering nausea this morning, trying so hard to keep it together but I think today's the day I'm going to be sick. Sickness bands are en route they can't come quick enough!

Morning everyone, Lovely Scan Tbug. Im 9 weeks today and im sick as a parrot, i was a bit naiive to think id escape it this time.

@calpolatdawn @ElectricTonight I'm still with you on the nausea! I've now been sick 3 days in a row so have a terrible feeling it's going to stick for a while!

I really hope the bands work for you! They didn't for me and I'm not sure what else to try.

I woken up worried sick, it's scan day! Did anyone else feel really anxious? It's not until 7:15pm either....

@showmethegin yes, I was a nervous wreck on scan day. I think I'll be the same at the 12 week one. My early scan feels like ages ago now though it's only been 2 weeks! I think how you're feeling is perfectly normal x

Hey girls, loving all the scan pics!! They are coming in thick and fast now. I've got a scan a week on Sunday so keeping everything crossed it's all ok still. I'm not sure if my early scan helped or not??

How's everyone's symptoms?? Smells are seriously driving me crazy. I can smell everything I'm like a bloodhound!!! It's sending my a bit nuts. I've had a rough week sickness wise.. with being sick and also really nauseous so that's no fun.

So bloody tired too!! I couldn't get out of bed this morning, I have so many jobs to do but I can't be bothered to do any 😭

Good luck with all the scans over the next few days. I've got my midwife appointment tomorrow, she's coming to my house so that will be different. xx

Thanks so much everyone for the messages about booking bloods, really calmed me down and just to reassure anyone with it coming up I had a great experience! They were so nice and suggested I lie down for it without me even mentioning I've been lightheaded, also don't know if this is the same everywhere but they said I didn't have to wear a mask (which id been worried would make me more sick!)

Now just need to wait for 12 week scan date 🤗 we're getting there gang!!

@djmbaker exactly the same on smells, it's so frustrating! I have actually totally given up going in the kitchen it's just making me gag 😂 husband on full cooking duty for now!

@calipoppy god I'm jealous!!! My partner can't cook 😂😂😂 I'm trying to cook low smelling food but it's miserable! 😬

@djmbaker oh I've definitely had to deal with some unusual meals the last few days 😂 poor you having to face cooking though, that actually sounds so brave to me right now haha!

Hi everyone, I have just been lurking the last few days as I have been feeling so nauseous! Going into week 8 is a killer. All I seem to want is carbs but there are no proper carbs in the house. Definitely going to be getting dp to add crisps to the weekly shop on Sat.

So lovely to see people's scans! @djmbaker I also have a scan a week on Sunday although will be my first one (early private dating scan).

I am currently wfh but would normally be out seeing people (I work in a community mental health team). My friend at work asked if I would be coming into the office- I just ended up telling her the news as she is pregnant as well (in 2nd trimester) and has been struggling a bit. I wanted mainly to let her know that I could relate but I am also a terrible liar. She said that the news really cheered her up- she had worried about telling me that she was pregnant because of our struggles- which was lovely to hear. But afterwards, I felt a bit of anxiety about the fact that I've told another person when things are still so early. Trying to take each day as it comes but just want to get through the 1st trimester as quickly as possible!

All this talk of Subway has made me want to see whether my local branch has opened! Dying for some Nachos!
