@Mc3209 oh lovely, nice to have a date buddy

Strawberries4days · 01/05/2020 14:08

A few people have said Asda is good! I've got a few from Matalan for now so hopefully they'll fit me ok🤞

Lorenzo3000 · 01/05/2020 14:12

I'm struggling to find a bra. I'm 34JJ and likely now a K so options are seriously limited. Wondering if I should wait until Molke are back in production...

Freddie1987 · 01/05/2020 14:56

@Strawberries4days I got mine from Hot Milk, seems to be holding up 34 F's ok so far 😂 I also got a nice bralette style which is pretty supportive that I'd never be able to wear normally!

FirstSurprise001 · 01/05/2020 17:41

Wow it seems like an age since I’ve been on here, house move has definitely kept me busy the last couple of weeks!

Hello to all the new members 👋🏽

Glad that I’m not the only one struggling with the sleeping on the left side and having really weird dreams. Despite getting up 4+ times a night to pee, I’m dreaming that I’m going to pee myself too FUN!!

Little bump has made an appearance as of this week (15+2) and sickness seems to have gone to evening only as opposed to all day so I’m counting that as a win!

Has anyone else started experiencing the hearing your heart beat in your ear when yawning/burping etc? It’s driving me crazy and no idea what is is! Also do you think there’s anything to be concerned with regarding cloudy urine or is it likely to just be (TMI Warning!) the increase in discharge?

Sounds as if we’re looking at lockdown for a fair few more weeks so will be keeping more up to date with you all 🥰

BabyDancer · 01/05/2020 17:46

@1990shopefulftm Glad you got positive results. How long did you have to wait for them to come through if you don't mind me asking?

1990shopefulftm · 01/05/2020 17:51

@Babydancer 10 days I think it was.

SamK93 · 01/05/2020 18:43

@FirstSurprise001 TMI but I totally agree with you on the discharge! I'm only 14 weeks but I'm having to keep small panty liners on and I'm having to change them a few times throughout the day. I've definitely had an increase in discharge since the last few weeks

DogCatDex · 01/05/2020 19:20

Is it bad that in lockdown I’ve just been going bra free. I had rather small boob to begin with 32C so although they’re growing they’re not really in need of support!

Anyone else getting more trapped wind and heartburn? I’ve never had heartburn before but the GP recommended Gavascon after my complaints last week. Tastes terrible but seems to help me at night time

justtb · 01/05/2020 19:30

@firstsurprise001 I am going to the loo a lot in the night.. but not noticing I'm going any more than usual in the daytime. My wee is cloudy and kind of yellow, is that normal? 😂

Also, can someone give me a virtual slap! I'm 14 weeks today and I'm worrying about the fact I'm not showing. I know I'm quite a little lady so will probably have a little baby too and all women are different.. but I'm still worrying.
Is sleeping on the left absolutely necessary? I did read it today on my pregnancy+ app

Clalou83 · 01/05/2020 20:22

Hello I have just signed up today. My friend has had 3 children and pointed me in the direction of this feed. I hope it is ok to just add myself on?

I am due 29th October, had my scan just over a week ago. This is my 2bd pregnancy but 1st child.

I look forward to getting to know some lovely mummies.

X

Clalou83 · 01/05/2020 20:31

Glad you said that about left side, I have a big cushion but my ear hurts and has a dry patch as it gave me a bed sore.

Clalou83 · 01/05/2020 20:33

Apologies not sure how to reply to specific posts rather than it going to the top. X

@Clalou83 hi welcome to the group, I'm sure you'll get used to it soon. Just @ the person you'd like to directly reply to I think x

@justtb I sleep on my left and my right side, it's good for pregnant women to sleep on left but not absolutely necessary I don't think.

DressingGown87 · 01/05/2020 23:16

I've sold my business (well nearly) been a stressful day, but hopefully be worth it in the end, and less stress in the long run!

@EmmaA96 my gut feeling is a girl, but that is based on nothing :)

@roarfeckingroar Yes I have a scan booked in at 16 weeks, I'm excited and nervous, although I only heard the heartbeat yesterday. It will look so much different for your DP. Good luck with your scan tomorrow, and glad about your results.

@1990shopefulftm Glad you got your results free and they are low, relief. Sounds like your progressing with the shopping list and nursery too.

@FirstSurprise001 Congratulations on your house move. @justtb I got told at 8 weeks I needed to start sleeping on my left, to increase blood flow. Spoke to my midwife yesterday, as my left collar bone is pinned, so been struggling to swap sides (I'm a right hand sleeper), she said as long as I'm on either side that is fine, its just to support the bump.

@BabyDancer @11Eleven11 @Clalou83 Welcome to you all! Hope your all doing ok.

Mc3209 · 02/05/2020 08:43

@DressingGown87 Congratulations on selling your business! A new chapter in your life ☺️

Anyone struggling with the side laying can I reccomend a pregnancy pillow. I struggled through without one last time, don't know why. I found this one on Amazon which is ridiculously cheap but thought I'd give it a go for the cost, was expecting it to be rubbish but it's good. Nice and filled (thought it would.be flat):

Clalou83 · 02/05/2020 10:25

@FirstTimeBumps Yeah it does make a difference with a pillow and can use when baby come for feeding too. Still can't seem to angle myself right so it doesn't hurt my ear though I have a permanent mark lol hay ho.

Sls668 · 02/05/2020 12:19

Is anyone else having hair trouble? My hair is literally coming out in handfuls! I’m having to unblock the shower almost daily! I feel like I’ll be bald soon!

1990shopefulftm · 02/05/2020 12:29

@Sls668 I seem to be losing more hair than normal but not enough it's worrying me yet

SamK93 · 02/05/2020 12:57

@DressingGown87 congrats on selling your business, it's always a bitter sweet mixed feeling isn't it. Hopefully everything will be worth it for you in the long run & you can relax for while now!

@Sls668 I feel your pain my hair is also coming out in bunches when I'm washing it! I swear by argan oil products though, always helps. I use the shampoo and conditioner and also massage my hair with the oil too a few hours before I wash my hair, and spray a bit on to dry hair too as my hair is naturally frizzy. It's not pricey either you can pick them up for £1 or £2 each most places x

FirstTimeBumps · 02/05/2020 13:15

My hair fell out really late postpartum, apparently it's usually after a few months but mine started 9 months after my LB was born. I thought the hormones in pregnancy were meant to stop you shedding hair which is why you loose so much afterwards when the hormones decrease again x

roarfeckingroar · 02/05/2020 14:40

@DressingGown87 scan in ten min! Can't wait.

Mc3209 · 02/05/2020 14:48

@roarfeckingroar Let us know how it goes! So exciting!
