@dressinggown87 should be around 38 weeks which I worked out to be around end of Sept to beginning of Oct. My youngest lad turns 7 near end of Sept. Never reached due date ever. Added 13 week 2 day pics to this post, if anyone knows the nub theory have a try for me because I am struggling 😭😭😭and I am impatient. Will see her again around 16 weeks for a scan and your right it feels like ages away

My scan went well. Baby growing & developing as it should. Thanks everyone for your lovely wishes

babymama09 · 21/04/2020 23:18

@UpsyDaisy1234 glad your scan went well. X

babymama09 · 21/04/2020 23:23

@Danielle95lab, I haven't seen your previous post but judging by how you are writing you sound very worried and anxious. I agree with previous post, make sure you have all the questions down you want answered so that your anxiety and stress levels are managed and it makes the pregnancy easier I can remember when. My girls had a condition I hadn't heard of and I did research etc and drove myself mad. We are all here for you if you ever want to talk hun but it sounds like the midwife is keeping a close eye on you and if you need more scans and don't feel like they are doing it the way they should then tell them its your and your babies life that you are fighting for. Sending 🙏🙏🙏🤗🤗To you and your family xx again I haven't seem previous post it's just the quick catch up I have done on most recent pages xz

Preggerspat · 22/04/2020 09:34

@Flora20 I agree with you, it is unbelievable how bulky they can be, the travel systems are best if you use your car a lot because you can lift whole seat out and click onto pram without waking baby. I loved using the larger seat part when they were a bit bigger but couldn't wait to get a slimline lighter buggy so got a Cosatto and love it too. I have used same pram system and buggy with first two babys and will use it with this one too but I am definitely investing in a sling this time, to free up my hands for my toddlers and dog lol

@1990shopefulftm mine was exactly the same and they put my date forward by 6 days too 😂 ❤

@Mc3209 aww congrats that is fab, I have 2 girls and I would love to have a wee boy but at same time would be more than happy with another wee girl, i didn't find out with my first 2 but i am tempted this time 🙈❤

Jaffas22 · 22/04/2020 09:42

Me again! (Sorry iv had so many questions lately!)
Has anyone been keeping an eye on their weight? .. I’m not one to really check my weight but yesterday at my appointment they weighed me and I weigh less than I did before fell I pregnant? I know people loose weight when there sick a lot but iv had no sickness. My diet has been far from healthy. Is this normal? I thought I’d have put a tiny bit on by now (not like I’m complaining) just making sure it’s nothing to worry about ☺️

1990shopefulftm · 22/04/2020 09:47

@Preggerspat six days is a fair bit of a change, I was so shocked when they said 4 days further as I was so sure on my dates, been wondering if babies going to be tall.

eventhecathasapenis · 22/04/2020 09:50

@Jaffas22 I've lost over half a stone and I'm 13+5 today. I do have Hyperemesis though. Weight loss can be quite normal, your appetite goes, it's a weird time.

Danielle95lab · 22/04/2020 09:59

@babymama09 thank you for the supportive message💕 now I've slept on it I don't feel as bad. I spoke to the midwife again and joined a support group on Facebook. I haven't heard a negative outcome from having low papp-a yet. Worst case I've seen is just baby arriving a little earlier than most. I asked about chromosomes and abnormalities to the baby the midwife said all my screening came back perfect, so that won't the issue. It will just be that there's a small chance my baby will be small from being induced early. But most apparently go on to have normal births at 40 weeks. So fingers crossed that's the case. It was just a massive shock cause I'm super healthy, 24 year old, 1st baby, no preexisting conditions or bad family history. Apparently they didn't even test for low papp-a until recently so most would be non the wiser and that's why there's so little info or research on it. Just got to keep a close eye in the final weeks xx

DogCatDex · 22/04/2020 10:08

Hi guys, I’ve just signed up to MumsNet, I’m 13 Weeks so this looks like it might be a good chat for me. This is my first baby and I’ve got to say it’s been really hard. The first trimester was a nightmare and I think because the NHS is stretched my midwife hotline only seems to go to voicemail. Looking forward to speaking to you all throughout the next 6 months!

WaveStreet · 22/04/2020 10:20

@UpsyDaisy1234 so pleased your scan was good news😊

@Danielle95lab glad they're doing what they can to keep an eye on you, and that you're feeling less anxious today

@dogcatdex welcome and congratulations!

babymama09 · 22/04/2020 10:31

@Danielle95lab, that's good that they are keeping and eye on you and I am glad that you are feeling less anxious too. 🤗🤗@DogCatDex welcome to the board there is a lot of supportive mummies to be on here and to be honest everyone makes you feel so welcome.
@UpsyDaisy1234 I am glad you scan went well. HS everyone had their first scans now?
Is anyone else still feeling sick, or getting headaches, I have felt nausious from the start. I always have had a pattern with my kids boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl, and then I miscarried last year and now I dont know if my pattern changes.

Sorry I am very impatient bout what I am having I kept all my little girls stuff but don't ha e any boys stuff left lol

Mc3209 · 22/04/2020 10:37

@Jaffas22 I've only gained half a kilo so far, despite eating a lot more (especially heavy carbs) as it was the only thing to help the nausea when I had it. I realised my wine consumption was probably contributing to my daily calorie intake prior to pregnancy, so stopping that I could eat a lot more without gaining.

WaveStreet · 22/04/2020 10:40

@babymama09 my scan is today and i think there may still be one or two more this week

Mc3209 · 22/04/2020 10:44

@babymama09 I am feeling better these days, nausea is almost non existent, but still have few food aversions. It's bizarre how things I used to like before are really not exciting now.
I get an occasional headache, but that's usually if I don't drink enough water and get dehydrated.

OP posts:
DogCatDex · 22/04/2020 10:52

@babymama09 I’ve had my scan and still getting nauseous/tired but it’s getting a lot better. In weeks 11 and 12 I had an almost permanent headache and the GP said it was likely due to the ramp up in blood flow. I’ve been headache free for about a week now so I think it’ll pass

@Jaffas22 I lost around 5kg through my first trimester so have just started gaining that back. Scan was normal apparently so nothing to worry about. I was told some women only gain weight in the third trimester

Did anyone go for a Harmony test? My NHS tests came back low risk so I’m not sure it’s worth it?

babymama09 · 22/04/2020 10:59

@Mc3209 I think it might be switching back to tea over past few days I have been throwing up my cups of tea and I am usually a heavy tea drinker. But I agree it could be I have drank less water. Every time I crave I am sick 🙁
@DogCatDex I am glad you nausia and headaches seem to have passed u don't remember being this bad in prev pregnancies but it has been 5 years since I got this far. Did any one watch that life & birth program on BBC yesterday?

I always find when I am pregnant I want to watch one born every minute my fella says to me why are you looking at birth and I said because I know how this one is coming out.... C Section didn't think they would give me any more I have had 3 c sections and 3 natural only one natural was my little boy the other two were my girls who died one before and one during so I do have a bit of a fear of normal delivery sorry this is tmi. Good luck @WaveStreet with your scan today let us know how you get on xx

UpsyDaisy1234 · 22/04/2020 11:11

@Wavestreet Goodluck on your scan today! I hope it goes well🤞

roarfeckingroar · 22/04/2020 11:12

@DogCatDex welcome to Mumsnet Grinthis is my first baby too, I'm 15 + 3 today so slightly further ahead. Are you in the north / south?

Mc3209 · 22/04/2020 11:14

@DogCatDex I did. It was a right thing for me as I would take any peace of mind I could get. Got reassuring results and found out gender. I am yet to have my 12 week scan (this Friday), so I knew I was going for NIPT irrespective of what NHS screen would show. It's not the cheapest thing in the world, so have a think of what it would add to your specific circumstance.

OP posts:
UpsyDaisy1234 · 22/04/2020 11:32

@Mc3209 Wow! Congratulations!!! Didn't know it could be picked up this early.

@Lolllyf Boy too! Congratulations too!!!

@1990shopefulftm I don't have a hunch either. I

have a boy & girl already so I wouldn't mind anyone this time. I just want a healthy baby.

@DogCatDex Welcome & Congratulations!

babymama09 · 22/04/2020 11:50

@Mc3209 I must have overlooked you post. Congratulations, what is a harmony test I haven't heard of it??
@Lolllyf congratulations to you as well. How is everyone finding out so early on??

roarfeckingroar · 22/04/2020 11:50

@babymama09 private scans probably. I'm seriously tempted!

Lolllyf · 22/04/2020 11:53

@DogCatDex I had decided I would definitely do the Harmony before the 12 week scan. It is expensive but I feel like it was worth it. I was a bit anxious and if there was a high risk on 12 week screening I was very anxious about waiting another week or 2 for NIPT results plus possibly then having to wait for CVS/amnio. I think if I had already had normal 12 week screening I wouldn’t spend the money on Harmony. I suppose it’s quite a personal decision, depends on what the results would mean to you if they were abnormal.

babymama09 · 22/04/2020 11:57

@roarfeckingroar, so am I. I just read they take your bloods after the scan well they did this after mine I thought it was to check on risk for downs but this is the same test is it not? How do you ask for the sex based on this test? Sorry just my consultant never mentioned it but did slip up and say I was low risk when I hadn't seen the results yet so I think she might know!!!!!
