@Danielle95lab and @Freddie1987 the sonographer had me put my feet flat on the bed and push my hips up into the air and shake them 🤣 she tilted the bed so my head was lower than my torso. Baby was definitely not cooperating. Was concerned they weren't actually going to be able to get the measurements.

Danielle95lab · 15/04/2020 19:09

@FirstTimeBumps haha yes this was the same for me😂 yeah I was worried for a second, thought I was going to be there forever the way baby was acting. We might have little troublemakers on our hands 😂

JC084 · 15/04/2020 19:13

Had my scan yesterday, due date is 24/10/20. So happy and relieved to know all is ok. Found it to be quite rushed for the actual scan but had to wait ages for bloods. Had to pay for my photos - £5 each - slightly annoying as she couldn't get a good image. I can hardly make anything out 🙄 oh well, at least I know baby is healthy and doing well x

UpsyDaisy1234 · 15/04/2020 19:27

Beautiful scan pictures ladies! The wriggling & being upside down got me giggling. I guess your babies were all excited to see mummy. I'm glad that everything was alright with your scans.

Mine is next tuesday & it's going to be a long wait, I will be two days over 13weeks by then.

Anyone having a scan tomorrow or friday?

LadyB90 · 15/04/2020 19:45

@UpsyDaisy1234
Mine is tomorrow! Hope yours comes around quickly

DressingGown87 · 15/04/2020 21:04

@Freddie1987 congratulations! You’ll have to let us know what the nub test says. My gut was girl, and the nub said girl.

I thought I was going to wet myself. She made me go in so many different positions 😂 she couldn’t put loads of pressure on though, as my stomach is black/blue/green from my daily injections. I look battered.

@Danielle95lab I know I’m glad I have a 16 week scan, don’t think I could wait 7 weeks 😂

AdventureAhead · 15/04/2020 22:48

@UpsyDaisy1234 Mine is on Friday, quite late in the day. I'm a bit scared by it!

Great to see some good pictures and hear some good news from those of you that have had scans! I had bloods taken at my booking in appointment, do they take more at the scan apointment?

BS9790 · 16/04/2020 07:52

Great scan pictures ladies.
My scan is this morning, so nervous! Hopefully it will go as well as all of yours x

JC084 · 16/04/2020 08:03

Did anyone else get a really blurry scan pic? Keep seeing all these clear scan pictures... then there's mine 😂 Might book a private scan if I can before the 20 week to see if I can see any more! X

@JC084 my scan pic with my LB was atrocious compared to this one (I've attached them both). It's still your little one though x

@BS9790 good luck today x

JC084 · 16/04/2020 08:26

@FirstTimeBumps thank you 😊 I was happy enough as as long as I knew these was a healthy baby that's all that mattered. Though now I've shown friends a few have said "oh that's a really poor scan, you should have asked them to try for a clearer one"
I'm just happy that all looked healthy with me and baby ❤️

FirstTimeBumps · 16/04/2020 08:47

@JC084 tbh the sonographer must have known it was a poor quality scan pic. Did you see baby properly on the monitor because I'm sure they can take a shot at any point during the scan. If the sonographer wasn't bothered to give you a decent picture I'm convinced you would be met with resistance if you'd asked for a

FirstTimeBumps · 16/04/2020 08:49

A better scan pic (sorry my 1 year old is climbing on me causing me to.hit send 🤣). It's pretty crappy of them like but at least you know if your little one. Your 20 week scan will definitely be much clearer though x

DressingGown87 · 16/04/2020 09:00

@AdventureAhead good luck to today! I opted for the screening, so they did one more tube of blood to send off for that.

@BS9790 good luck today!

@JC084 sometimes the baby just wriggles too much, it’s hard for them to get a clear photo. You have a little active bean! The sonographer should have said this though, mine tried to make sure she got it still. But as you say, you and the baby are healthy, and hopefully you can get a better picture at 16weeks.

JC084 · 16/04/2020 09:10

@FirstTimeBumps @DressingGown87 thank you 😊 yes she did say she was struggling to get a good picture. Still had to pay £5 for it though 😄 just happy everything is healthy x

DressingGown87 · 16/04/2020 09:23

@JC084 Gobsmacked she charged you. I got all my photos for free, as they put the token machine out of use. And I couldn’t pick one 🙈

JC084 · 16/04/2020 09:55

@DressingGown87 I know, I was a bit shocked as heard most people getting them for free. They asked how many I wanted and so I chose 2... not realising it was 2 exactly the same 🙈 £10 well spent 😂 x

Bcat999 · 16/04/2020 10:44

Hello everyone.

I'm joining a bit late.

I went for my 12 week scan 7 days ago, and was told that my baby was too small and that I was more 10 weeks 6 days pregnant.
This was a little expected as I have PCOS, and my ovulation days are very varied.
I'm just amazed that I'm pregnant after 5 years of no birth control.

I'm eagerly waiting for my next 12 week scan appointment :)
I am now due on the 30th October

1990shopefulftm · 16/04/2020 11:50

@Bcat999 we have the same due date :)

Mc3209 · 16/04/2020 12:38

Well, so far I've been working from home doing virtual clinics etc, and now I've been asked to do exactly the same work I do only from the hospital. I have never been more disappointed by the system. And the worst part is there is nothing I can do to argue against it, they are within 'the rules' as it is non patient facing role. So I will be going to the place which has highest chance of coronavirus transmission daily for nothing.

Is the nausea and vomiting still continuing for everyone even in the 12th week.. I am so exhausted and feel like crying throughout the day..

LadyB90 · 16/04/2020 13:04

@firstpregnancy20
Yep my sickness is still going strong 🙈 looking forward to it stopping for sure!

Just had my scan, everything is going well from what I could tell! Think baby was sleeping as it seemed to stay pretty still! I know i mentioned earlier in the week about Oxfordshire not doing the nuchal testing, the sonographer said today that it depends on the day as some days they don't have anyone to do the bloods. Luckily I managed to get the test done today. It was all over alot quicker than I thought it would be I think I was only in there about 10mins!

babymama09 · 16/04/2020 13:24

I am throwing up more at night, I seem to crave then want to me sick again it's driving me crazy. I honestly feel like a first time mum but it's my 7th baby and 9th pregnancy lol. Hope your all okay, I ha e my scan tomorrow and been told I have to go on my own, my kids are well gutted cos they all wanted to come with me.

Helly88 · 16/04/2020 13:28

Afternoon Ladies, so lovely to see lots of gorgeous scan pictures, guess it's going to be a busy few weeks for scans on this group!. Feeling quite nervous about mine tomorrow, how did everyone who's been this week find it? I'm concerned I might turn up to a waiting room full of ladies in hazmat suits and I'll be sat with nothing!! Such a shame that we have to go alone, feel quote emotional about it which is a bit ridiculous I know!
