Anyone awaiting arrival of their baby?

Hi,

My baby is due next Wednesday 8th April. Is anyone awaiting there little bundle to arrive around the same time?

Also how you feeling about the virus at such an special time for us

I'm not too bad during the day getting comfortable but as soon as bedtime comes it's a whole different story lol lockdown is driving me insane we as a family are not used to been in the house, we are either away at weekends at our caravan or visiting family or having days out with friends. I'm hoping when our little bundle arrives she keeps us on our feet.

Yes the rib pain is not pleasant. Pretty sure it's my little one's feet!
It is a strange adjustment just being in all the time. Every day rolls into one at the moment.

Did they keep you in hospital long?

Thank you all, I'm still in hospital they are keeping me 48 hours as I had strep b, she's on antibiotics due to a temp and to clear her chest. Was a fast delivery and had shoulder dystocia so they are keeping an eye on her x

Nope nothing here either, I have a sweep tomorrow afternoon so fingers crossed that will help start things

38 week midwife appointment for me on Wednesday so hoping for an update about what's going on at the hospitals, just want him here safe and sound and to be back home as soon as possible

Well I’m on the ward with pessary in. Can’t really leave cubicle because of social distancing. Could be a long road

How did you get on @Sgeld122? Good luck @Whatelsecouldibecalled hopefully it won't be a long road. Are you dilated at all?

Sweep went well, my cervix was soft and favorable and was 1cm dilated. So just a waiting game now to see if anything happens. Fingers crossed it does. Xx

Hope not got back ache and a period like cramp so I'm hoping and praying it works and we get to meet our little girl very soon xx

Go on a long walk bounce on ur ball and sex tonight @Sgeld122 should help the sweep along. And @Whatelsecouldibecalled hopefully once they can break it waters it will happen fast that's what happens in all my labours water breaks baby out 15mins later

Keep having a wander round garden and house, up and down stairs. Going to have a nice warm bath after tea. Kicking myself at min because I didnt get a ball and dont no anyone with one so that's off the list. Xxx

Squats then instead or walk upstairs sideways. My sweep didn't do a thing except make me lose loads of mucus plug but wasn't favourable anyway. Just got Clary sage oil and gave bump a massage see if it works lol xx

Hi everyone. I was due on the 4th but no signs yet other than very mild and sporadic period pains. Had a sweep on 2nd but it hasn't done anything!! I'm sure all the stress of the current situation isn't helping.
