Carrying on our discussion and hopefully having less of the nausea, morning sickness and sore boobs as the thread progresses!

@bluebell94 thank you so much for your reply! It’s so amazing to know I’m not alone

HarrietM87 · 29/03/2020 21:43

@Ranoutofgoodnames M&S do some maternity/nursing bras that come in small/medium/large (with approximate cup sizes) so you don’t need to know your exact size.

Ranoutofgoodnames · 29/03/2020 22:10

@HarrietM87 massive thanks am heading over there now...

Wise0wl · 29/03/2020 22:15

@ranoutofgoodnames I’m in exactly the same boat - thank you @HarrietM87 for the recommendation.

Congrats to those with new BFPs, @PinkPeaceLily I think I’m due around the 14th Nov, so close to you!

Pinktruffle · 29/03/2020 22:26

Is anyone else still getting cramping pains? I was kind of expecting them to subside but that's not happened. I'm 5+4

WildflowerPetals · 29/03/2020 22:36

@Pinktruffle I’m 9 weeks and I still get them every now and again x

PinkPeaceLily · 29/03/2020 22:36

Oh congratulations! So excited for our November babies!!

Pinktruffle · 29/03/2020 22:41

Thank you @WildflowerPetals, that's reassuring. I feel like I'm paranoid all the time but trying not to worry

WildflowerPetals · 29/03/2020 22:44

@Pinktruffle I was worried too as it’s not something I’ve ever heard people talk about, but from what I’ve read on here and elsewhere online it’s perfectly normal 😊 x

Addler · 29/03/2020 23:05

I've been anxious the last day or two as most of my symptoms seem to have disappeared. I'm not even 6 weeks yet but had loads from 4 weeks onwards, but the nausea and sore boobs and peeing a lot and tiredness have all gone!

anon5555 · 29/03/2020 23:37

@Addler same with me don't worry! Mine symptoms seem to come and go. Had a really normal day today which was lovely. Bracing myself for the morning as it's usually one day on, one day off! X

Addler · 29/03/2020 23:41

@anon5555 Thank you, that's so reassuring to hear. After a MC in January I'm finding any change worrying. It must be so reassuring once you're far enough long to feel movements and know things are still okay!

Ranoutofgoodnames · 30/03/2020 00:08

@Pinktruffle I had them until week six I think. I think these are really normal xx

wannabebump · 30/03/2020 05:21

It's that crazy oclock time of the morning, and I'm awake again Hmm anyone else like this?! X

anon5555 · 30/03/2020 08:11

@Addler aww sorry to hear that. I'm trying to remain positive! Symptoms seem to have gone today too, but will have to wait and see. It's a emotional rollacoaster isn't it. All the best with your pregnancy xx

LozEliza · 30/03/2020 08:16

@PinkPeaceLily I'm getting the organs moved feeling too 😂 when I lay on my side it's so uncomfortable everything feels higher and squished together. Also trying to avoid resting my arm on my side when laying down as that's uncomfortable too.

BeMorePacific · 30/03/2020 08:34

@wannabebump I keep having crazy dreams that wake me up really early. I remember the mad dreams from my first pregnancy, but didn’t remember them starting so early on! xx

NoseringGirl · 30/03/2020 09:26

@Addler @anon5555 my symptoms seemed to be one day on and one day off for a while this time! It was really strange, so obviously I googled and found quite a few other women saying the same thing. No idea what causes it! I'm 7 weeks now and it seems to have intensified to every day.

Tonicandgin · 30/03/2020 09:44

I'm on dc 3 and have always had symptoms disappear and appear again with pregnancy. Mine seem to come in week cycles - or thereabouts - so day 5/6 largely without symptoms and then on day 1 it's like I get a massive influx of new hormones. That's my theory anyway fwiw.

HarrietM87 · 30/03/2020 09:49

For people with fluctuating symptoms, my nausea was really on and off weeks 4-6, and since week 7 it’s just got worse and worse every day ☹️. It’s awful but also reassuring. Though in my pregnancy with my son I had no sickness whatsoever! Everything is normal I guess.

Addler · 30/03/2020 09:51

Thank you everyone for your similar stories, it's such a relief. I've got a private scan tonight at 6pm to put my mind at ease about where the pregnancy is located as I'm having a lot of right side pain for a few days, I know it'll probably too early to see a heartbeat etc so won't put my mind at ease about that!

novicettc · 30/03/2020 09:52

Thanks so much for everyones well wishes, really appreciate them all!

@FlashesOfRage congrats to you too! Ours look to be non-identical also Smile How far along are you? I was going between laughing and crying (happy tears) once she said there were two babies, a moment I'll never forget!

Can't wait to get to the 12 week mark, I'm practically counting down the hours at this rate!

SqidgeBum · 30/03/2020 10:26

@HarrietM87 I needed to see that this morning. Thank you.

The last few days my sickness has been easing and it was nearly non existent this morning. I also thought I saw a spot of blood on the toilet tissue but then I chucked it before I looked properly. I am now freaking out, even though I know there is nothing I can do, and my chances of a MC are very low (2-4% as I am 8+2 and have no risk factors at all). I either feel like I am going to vomit and think everything is fine, or I feel fine and think everything is falling apart. Men just dont have any of this!! It isnt fair!!

burntpinky · 30/03/2020 10:39

Struggling to stay caught up despite being on lockdown! Welcome to all newbies x

So: food revelations. Last night we made baked sweet potatoes for tea. I had mine with feta and loads of lurpack. DH has his with mozzarella, basil and paprika. They were amazing. DH had also coated in olive oil and sea salt so the skins tasted divine. Gotta take small victories.

Nothing as exciting (god, I really DO need to get out more!) today as we are running low on supplies (especially treats). DH will go shopping first thing Weds am as he was in v quickly last weds and it’s the only day when 8am isn’t for oldies.

Bored out my brain but started watching “Self Made” on Netflix which is quite good. Still can’t clean or do any housework and our house is disgusting. Takes all my energy just to have a bloody shower!

burntpinky · 30/03/2020 10:40

Just to clarify: my husband didn’t coat the skins in a speech and language therapist, that would be weird
