Hope everybody is doing ok, especially those with some spotting - thinking of you! 💕

Welcome @BecLJ, what a great 30th bday present that will be! How’re you feeling? Any bad symptoms?

We’ve just had our 12 week scan through - 26th March. I’ll actually be 11+6 but not complaining! Very glad it’s not TOO long to wait, hopefully it’ll fly by. Hoping that everything will be ok and it’ll make it feel more real - it doesn’t feel real at all at the moment!

MrsD1990 · 09/03/2020 16:41

Lovely to see people are getting their scans! I can't wait fo my 12 week one, mine is on 25th march.

Felt so sick today, worst I've had all pregnancy so I've gone home and I'm working the rest of the day here. Bought some crackers and ginger biscuits on the way home and already feel better... Think I need to start eating super boring food for lunch or I'll keep feeling sick...

BecLJ · 09/03/2020 17:00

Thanks @Quiffy and @SkyBlue20 - congrats to you and everyone else too.

Yes it will be a lovely birthday present! I am feeling very tired and nauseous (but not actually been sick yet) the last few days I have experienced more cramping than usual (no bleeding) but it's hard to know what's normal and what's not.

I have my 12 week scan on 24 March. Does anyone else feel like time is moving so so slowly?!

MrsD1990 · 09/03/2020 17:13

@becLJ it feels like it's going so slowly! Can't wait to be in double digits tomorrow!!

MsSian93 · 09/03/2020 17:20

Went to the EPU and everything is fine. They really weren't concerned at all with the bleeding, again reassured me there's no bleeding coming from the uterus so i think it's just one of those things! They've measured me as 10 + 4 and said i'll actually be 13 weeks by the time i have my scan on March 27th.

Sending lot's of love to everyone else going through bleeding and spotting.

MrsD1990 · 09/03/2020 17:23

Yay @mssian93 so happy for you!! Glad everything is ok!

SkyBlue20 · 09/03/2020 17:35

Fab news, @MsSian93!

Sounds like we all have our scans in the same cluster of days, which is nice!! Hopefully a good, exciting weekend all round! 💕

Spark27 · 09/03/2020 17:47

Great news @MsSian93.

Spark27 · 09/03/2020 17:51

@BecLJ congrats, and I'm with you on time going slowly. My 12w scan is on the 19th (should be 12+3) and I feel like I've been waiting for ages. Esp as I got the dat through when I was 7w.

@MrsD1990 I'm the same, definitely feeling very sick again. I only work part time but already called in sick for tomorrow. Fortunately my boss is really understanding and lovely. We've got a big team meeting for 4hrs tomorrow PM so would be really difficult if I needed to get out of it repeatedly. Only my immediate boss knows at the mo.

Spark27 · 09/03/2020 17:57

In case anyone was overly concerned the ROCG (royal college of obstetricians & gynecologists) has released a statement on coronovirus and pregnancy. Nothing surprising or overly concerning, but a nice update.
I couldn't add the link, but should be easy to find x

Quiffy · 09/03/2020 18:36

@SkyBlue20 It really doesnt feel real at the moment. I just cant get around the fact there's a little pecan in there growing away.

@BecLJ It's hard with cramping, had quite a bit over the weekend but seen lots saying it's normal, just the old lady plumbing creaking and stretching out. Time is going slow for sure, despite all the napping! haha

@MsSian93 brilliant news!! That's very relieving.

SkyBlue20 · 09/03/2020 18:37

Here’s the link ☺️

It’s nice to finally have some ACTUAL guidance even if it isn’t much different from what we’d already been told!

Treaclepie19 · 09/03/2020 18:37

Ooh I'll have a look in a bit. Thanks @Spark27. I am quite nervous I must say.

BntTowers · 09/03/2020 19:48

@MsSian93 that's brilliant news!

After having what felt like no symptoms this morning I'm a feeling really sick again, so I suppose that's a good sign. I sent a text to DH at about 4pm when it was starting to get bad about being happy that I have aching boobs and I feel like I'm going to throw up. Didn't think I would be so happy about feeling a bit crappy.

MrsD1990 · 09/03/2020 21:48

Glad you're feeling good about it @bnttowers (even though it also means your feeling crappy!) My tummy is finally settling after a terrible day of nausea. Hoping tomorrow is better. My tummy definitely has a little bump now (looks like bloat) which I'm enjoying though!!

BntTowers · 10/03/2020 07:21

I woke up so many times last night, once feeling really sick, which I keep telling myself is a good sign. Still very nervous about the scan today. I'm going by myself because DH hasn't been able to get the day off or work from home.

@MrsD1990 how any weeks are you now? I'm looking forward to getting a little bump, I do feel a little more rounded, but I think it might just be bloat.

MrsD1990 · 10/03/2020 07:33

@bnttowers I'm 10 weeks today - my little bump is probably bloat too it's just much bigger than when I'm not pregnant and towards the evening it's firmer too so I'm enjoying it! Sorry you didn't sleep well but like you say, let's take it as a good sign!

SkyBlue20 · 10/03/2020 08:41

Good luck today, @BntTowers! What time is your scan at?

I’ve woken up feeling super nauseous, really tired and a bit emotional (almost cried when husband said he’d give me a lift to the train as it’s raining 🙈). Put on a high waisted skirt I’ve not worn for a bit and it’s definitely bordering on too tight, don’t think I’ll get much more wear out of it now! I’ve definitely got a bit more of a tum but it is probably bloat/all the extra food I’ve been eating rather than a bump per se.

BntTowers · 10/03/2020 09:17

@SkyBlue20 it's at 11, so not too long to wait now, especially when I set off.

Will soon have to be thinking about getting a few new clothes by the sounds of it. I'm just finding a lot of my work clothes are just uncomfortable at the moment.

Treaclepie19 · 10/03/2020 09:38

Hope all goes well @BntTowers!

I'm just sat eating a wispa gold because I famcied it but knowing I'm going to feel horrendous again in a minute. This nausea is getting me now.
I weighed this morning and have lost 5lbs since I found out.
Definitely an obvious roundness to my lower stomach! 10+2.

Quiffy · 10/03/2020 09:51

@BntTowers Best of luck today, not long now!!

@treaclepie19 aw man I miss wispa golds. And all chocolate. Although I really fancy a doughnut... Might get dh to go home via KK. Im a bit scared to weigh myself, last time I checked, I'd lost a stone but all the beige food is adding up I think...

@MrsD1990 how's you nausea today?

@SkyBlue20 Hope today goes quickly. Tired, emotional and nauseated are far from fun.

Feeling sicky today but nothing as bad as yesterday thankfully. I'm not sure on bump as I have my own food belly. I have noticed that although I carry weight lower, there's a bit coming out above my belly button that wasnt there before. But that might be too high, it's probably all the toast haha. Maybe I'll cancel that doughnut...

I have made a new food discovery that I love though - roast beef sandwiches on white bread with salt on them. Cannot wait for lunch already.

Glitterbug86 · 10/03/2020 10:55

Best of luck for your scan @bnttowers. Thinking of you.

I had a smidge of red blood yesterday eve but nothing since. I had a physical exam this morning where they couldn't see anything but I am still waiting on my app with the EPU for a scan. The waiting is horrendous.

CouscousEvaporator · 10/03/2020 11:52

Hope it goes ok @BntTowers.

And you too @Glitterbug86 💐

BntTowers · 10/03/2020 12:27

Thanks everyone, we have a happy little 8+3 bean in there. They couldn't see what caused the bleeding. I've even come home with a picture.
@Glitterbug86 when is your scan?

Glitterbug86 · 10/03/2020 12:30

@BntTowers brilliant, fantastic news.

I don't know - I'm still waiting on an app. Apparently you'd usually be seen within a day or 2 but they're really overwhelmed currently and it may even be next week 😕 I'm in Ireland not the uk also
