Colposcopy at 17w4d.

Has anyone had a colposcopy done whilst pregnant? EPU referred me as I’ve had very bad, heavy, bright red bleeds throughout this pregnancy. I bled heavily during a speculum exam (covered the bed) and they want me to get checked out. I’ve never had one before but have googled and found out it makes you bleed? I’m worried I might have a big bleed given the amount I’ve bled already? Any experience?

I'm so sorry things are so bad OP. Is there anywhere other than the car to sleep? Also, have you managed to speak to your doctors about the pain? They could perhaps give you different meds. You will get through this. It's all such terrible timing but you sound like such a strong person. Verity is with you. ❤️

I’ve just got out of hospital as I’ve been very ill. Unable to walk. Covid keeping friends and family away. Treatment seems to be working though Have carers coming in from tomorrow.
