Colposcopy at 17w4d.

Has anyone had a colposcopy done whilst pregnant? EPU referred me as I’ve had very bad, heavy, bright red bleeds throughout this pregnancy. I bled heavily during a speculum exam (covered the bed) and they want me to get checked out. I’ve never had one before but have googled and found out it makes you bleed? I’m worried I might have a big bleed given the amount I’ve bled already? Any experience?

I'm not surprised in all honesty. That's a whole lot to take in.
If you feel like it and when you're ready of course remember you can always talk there are people to listen. Don't bottle it all up x

We are all here for you OP. This must be a horrendous shock. It's no surprise you are feeling like you are not coping. Do you have people to talk to? I hope the team you saw at the hospital have pointed out where you can find info and support. You must try and focus on the plan of action.
