Anyone got scans coming up? Xx

Catherine1210 · 22/05/2020 08:11

@BooMamaBear mines on Wednesday! Feeling excited to see the baby again but naturally a bit nervous. We are telling family the gender next Friday via a confetti cannon video, it was the easiest way I could think of to tell everyone at the same time via a video text. I would have loved to tell my Mum in person but she lives over 200 miles away, so not possible with lockdown :(

How are you getting on? xxx

BooMamaBear · 22/05/2020 15:00

Gender reveal sounds great xx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 23/05/2020 09:50

I have a private scan booked for today to find out the gender so excited I literally have probably only slept about 3 hours!! Have my hospital scan next week but wanted partner to find out the sex with me so this is why booked. I'm in the process of making a video (never made a proper one before so it's pretty hard but I'm enjoying!) so that when we find out we can send to family. At the end it will reveal the gender. We haven't told anyone about this private scan so they will be very surprised!! Xx

Catherine1210 · 23/05/2020 10:41

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy awwww so exciting! I loved the private gender scan with my boyfriend, it’s lovely to find out together. Good luck with your video making Smilexx

Catherine1210 · 24/05/2020 12:36

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy I saw it but then thought I’d never keep up with all the messages, so I’ll probably just read it from time to time but not input. Thankyou for sending it across though Smile xxx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 24/05/2020 12:39

@Catherine1210 it's ok! I struggle too! Probably only write on it about once a week! Xx

BooMamaBear · 27/05/2020 12:50

Whooping cough jab today not looking forward to it! Xx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 27/05/2020 14:11

@BooMamaBear good luck! And @Catherine1210 is your scan today? Xx

BooMamaBear · 27/05/2020 14:44

@Catherine1210 -good luck for your scan!! Xx

Catherine1210 · 27/05/2020 14:51

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy @BooMamaBear Helloo Grin Scan all done and everything was looking fine, baby measuring average (a bit on the smaller side of average but they said not worryingly so).
A good strong heartbeat and I drank a frozen fruit smoothie before the scan as I heard cold and sugary stuff makes the baby wriggly... I can confirm this is true 🤣 arms and legs were all over the place!

Also confirmed we are having a boy 💙 we have a definite name too, so it was so nice looking at the scan picture and being able to call them their name! All feels real!

I had my whooping cough vaccine too, I didn’t find it uncomfortable so hopefully it doesn’t get achy! How was yours? @boomamabear Xxx

BooMamaBear · 27/05/2020 17:40

Yeas my jab doesn't seem too bad so far either- sweet cold drinks work for my baby too if I have or when I'm in bed she kicks loads!!
Glad your scan went well and congrats on your little boy!! Xx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 28/05/2020 09:17

@Catherine1210 oh so happy it went well!!! And lovely to have a wriggly baby!!!

@BooMamaBear glad the jab went well. I've have to book mine for in a few weeks time at the gp.

Got my scan in about 2 hours! Hopefully all good! Xx

BooMamaBear · 28/05/2020 10:03

Good lucj got your scan @AutumnBabyWinterMummy - my arm is a bit achy now it was last night and today!
Xxx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 28/05/2020 10:18

@BooMamaBear does it actually hurt when getting it done though or just after? I can cope with after I just hate injections, sometimes faint!! 😂 xx

BooMamaBear · 28/05/2020 10:23

No it's was fine just got a bit achy from last night it's not really bad I just can't lay on it -as we're supposed to be laying on our left I got it in my right arm! Xxx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 28/05/2020 11:24

@BooMamaBear ah that's a good idea!

Just had can't scan all went well, they've confirmed it's a girl! Haven't looked at scan yet just waiting for partner to get off a work call to look together! He's taking too long! X

BooMamaBear · 28/05/2020 14:07

Glad it all went well @AutumnBabyWinterMummy xx

Catherine1210 · 28/05/2020 15:07

@BooMamaBear I agree it’s a bit achy today and last night sleeping on my left went out the window as I had mine down on the left, so for one night I just slept on my right, fingers crossed tonight I’ll be comfy on left.

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy so pleased your scan went well ahh we are all over the half way mark (hopefully!! If not 42 weekers ha) exciting times xxx

MummyBearBoo · 09/06/2020 13:30
