There not much tho I dunno if it'll show it's really pale? Xx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 17/05/2020 17:37

Hey, hope you're both ok.

I've been pretty quiet this week as been back at work and it's been full on and exhausting! Just been coming home, having tea, bath then bed and then this weekend having to catch up on all housework I hadn't had time to do! Been a bit rubbish actually!

I don't know much about the discharge but I always presumed it was just normal unless it smells or isn't clear?

@Catherine1210 are you part of this group? Early Oct babies part 4. It's a lot more active than this group, I often can't keep up! Me and @BooMamaBear are both on there x

Catherine1210 · 17/05/2020 17:51

@BooMamaBear if it wouldn’t show on a pad I think it sounds normal? Maybe just mention it Xx

Catherine1210 · 17/05/2020 17:54

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy aw hope your first week back went ok! It’ll take a couple of weeks to get back into the working routine I bet. It’ll be a shock to the system for me in 2 weeks time when I go back!

I’m not part of that group but I’ll have a look at it Thankyou Smile xx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 17/05/2020 19:35

Oh yes have a look.

You're back in 2 weeks? Did you decide that yourself or was that decided from the boris speech last week? How you feeling about going back? Found out I'll be furloughed again from 3rd trimester so that's going to be nice, a lovely break before baby! Only 9 weeks to go! Xx

Catherine1210 · 17/05/2020 20:30

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy the work I’m doing resumes back to full schedule from 1st July and although I’m self employed so I have had choice in going back but the other choice is carry on unpaid and can’t really keep that going for much longer. I found out I don’t get the 80% self employed wage cover as over the last 3 tax returns I was employed full time and working part time self employed and earning less than 50% in self employment for two of the years, so it writes off the most recent where I’m fully self employed, grrr.

I’ve decided to start my maternity early and go back a bit earlier, hoping that when I go back earlier covid will be a distance memory! So I’m starting back 1st June and finishing end of July, to start maternity August and go back in March. So an 8 week stint is what I’m doing too, stopping around 28 weeks aswell xx

Catherine1210 · 17/05/2020 20:30

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy *1st June that first part should say sorry x

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 17/05/2020 21:11

Ah that's such a shame you won't get the 80%. Hope you're ok and can manage without it, what a worry. Sounds like you have a good plan. I won't know what's hit me if I have another baby after this and have to carry on working all the way though til I'm due instead of being furloughed at 28 weeks 😂😂 x

Catherine1210 · 17/05/2020 22:03

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy it’s a blow but luckily with lockdown we haven’t been spending much money!

I’m the same, next time I’ll be working as long as possible, so I’m going to try make the most of August/September off, hopefully by then we can visit family! I’ll do weekends visiting them all Grin. Xx

Catherine1210 · 17/05/2020 22:06

Also on that point has anyone been broody for their next baby whilst pregnant?! Before falling pregnant I didn’t think about baby no2, this last few weeks I’m convinced 2 under 2 is the way forward. I need the baby to arrive to knock me off the broody mood and let reality with a newborn set in 😂😂😂x

BooMamaBear · 17/05/2020 22:58

This is definitely my last I have a DD who starts school in September - I have friends with 2 Under 2 and it looks really hard work! As my DD will be at school when this one is born I can do baby classes with her like I did with DD (Covid dependant) and my neighbour and my DD's best friend's mum are pregnant with girls too they are 4 and 1 month ahead of me respectively!
I'm more than happy with 2 girls (all being well) having tried 3 times for this baby (losing 2 Boys due to TFMRs at 13 weeks) and with a 50% chance of not having a healthy baby-I'm happy with 2 and DH is getting snipped after this one! Xx

Catherine1210 · 18/05/2020 10:24

@BooMamaBear Aw that sounds like a nice age gap and how good you’ve got people around you who will have similar age babies.

Sorry for your previous losses Flowers. I can understand you wanting to finish at two. I’m sure your two girls will be the best of friends in future. Here’s to a smooth next half of pregnancy xxx

BooMamaBear · 18/05/2020 11:12

Thanks @Catherine1210!! My DD is so excited she said when she blew out the candles on her cake at her 4th birthday party she wished for a sister I conceived the day after!!
She keeps asking if she's ready to come out yet and taking to her and stoking my bump!
She keep ms saying 'thank you mummy for growing me a sister'! Just hope everything goes ok now - 20w scan tomorrow! Xx

Catherine1210 · 18/05/2020 11:26

@BooMamaBear Awww that’s so cute!! Grin

I’m sure everything will be ok this time, I hope you aren’t waiting around too long for the scan and get seen to swiftly! It’ll be nice to see a wriggly baby on the screen. Mines just over a week away xx

BooMamaBear · 18/05/2020 11:57

@Catherine1210 thanks I know she's wriggly- she's wriggling and kicking since I decided to have a lay down on my bed while DD is playing! Xx

BooMamaBear · 19/05/2020 15:45

So all was ok everything normal (I was so nervous) they're going to scan me again at 26 weeks just coz of my history they said I'd get a 3D pic then too!! Xx

Catherine1210 · 19/05/2020 16:28

@BooMamaBear so pleased everything was ok for you!! That’s a bonus of a 3D scan I didn’t realise the NHS could do them! Xx

BooMamaBear · 19/05/2020 16:49

I don't think they usually do them coz 20w is too early coz they're still quite skeletal and most people don't get an NHS san after 20w!

I’ve just found this thread! I’m expecting my first baby in October - so excited and a little nervous. We’re looking for a pram at the moment. Has anybody got any tips? There’s so many different ones around! A friend recommended this website which seems good www.pramsy.com has anybody used it before?

Catherine1210 · 19/05/2020 17:40

@BooMamaBear aww what a lovely picture Smile xxx

Catherine1210 · 19/05/2020 17:41

@newmummyessex hey welcome and congratulations! I’m not expert as I’m a first time Mum but from friends recommendations I am going for the Egg pram in all black, I’ve pushed friends they’re a really smooth ride and good for both town/country walks. Xx

BooMamaBear · 19/05/2020 19:40

Welcome @newmummyessex xx

newmummyessex · 19/05/2020 19:51

Hi all, so excited to be here and find this group xx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 20/05/2020 19:09

@Catherine1210 sorry for another late reply 🙈 no not broody for second just yet! I didnt even know it was possible to feel it while pregnant!! 😂 but I know what you mean, it's nice to imagine your next baby. I don't know still if I definitely want another baby after this!

@BooMamaBear congrats on your scan! Lovely pic and so nice you'll get 4d!!

@newmummyessex welcome and congrats! Do you know what you're having yet or will you not find out? Xx

BooMamaBear · 21/05/2020 14:01
