@marauder1994 I think I feel pretty nauseous, at least my stomach is churning and flipping. That and the odd mild cramping.

I also think my boobs are bigger... My husband seems to be paying them more attention that usual 😂 I think it's because they are more out there!!!

marauder1994 · 15/02/2020 17:12

Anyone else having caramels?

marauder1994 · 15/02/2020 17:13

Oops I meant cramps

twinkleyes35 · 15/02/2020 17:29

@marauder1994 hahahah I like caramel 🤪. I do hey off cramps and mainly at night bad ones. The parody is whilst sneezing it just kills me and I get scared that I might hurt my baby ☹️.

Other than that being hungry n sore boobs and no other symptoms really.

I am 5 weeks + 5 days so I suppose they will start May b next week be good for them not to show up x 🤪

It hurts if I need a wee, move to quick or cough. I just get a sharp pain :( im worried about it.

I've had to have 2 naps today

Bananaloaf88 · 15/02/2020 19:00

@marauder1994 yes I am! On and off stabbing pains on both sides and cramps. Nothing that is stopping my normal activities. I' m not sure if the cramps are from gas or pregnancy!

With my ectopic all the pain was localised to one side so i'm trying to stay positive I have it on both. When I had my miscarriage I had no cramps apart from one bout that was really painful. So i'm hoping finally this is "normal".

hmeadow24 · 15/02/2020 19:43

Hi ladies,

I got my BFP this morning! Still feeling shocked, scared but over the moon.

I am 4 weeks 4 days I believe.

The most obvious symptoms I am having are cramps. I was getting very concerned but have read that it can be common. I also have a cold so just feeling rubbish in general

greeny506 · 15/02/2020 21:04

Hi all! Got my BFP yesterday, not totally sure when my period was due as only been off the pill for 2m, but I think due today/tomorrow. Strong positive on boots own brand and faint positive on FRER. Feeling very bloated and crampy at the moment! Nervous about it being a chemical pregnancy but not sure why! My LO is 16m atm and trying to remember what it felt like!

Waggers91 · 15/02/2020 21:12

Hi guys,

Can I join?

Bit worried I am jumping the gun. Had a BFP mid afternoon today. So very excited. Though it's early days, I also have epilepsy which complicated things a bit.

According to the NHS website I'd be due 24/10. How's everyone been feeling?

I've had some cramping this evening, going to test again with fmu to double check lol x

TFC90 · 15/02/2020 22:55

@greeny506 Congratulations!!! I got mine yesterday morning! I'm in exactly the same boat, I've only had one full natural cycle as I came off the pill three months ago. That was 26 days so I was technically due AF on Monday 10th. Technically 4 days late now but my lines are still very faint so I'm wondering if this period would've fallen later than 26 days.

Totally with you on chemical pregnancy fear!!! Made worse by the fact I don't really know when my period would've been due.... They say you're mostly out of the danger zone one week after your missed period... 🤷

marauder1994 · 16/02/2020 08:38

Congrats on all the new BFPs!!! It's horrible being so anxious isn't it?

I feel like my MMC and chemical have taken away any chance I'd have if enjoying a pregnancy for fear of losing it :(

greeny506 · 16/02/2020 08:40

@TFC90 I know! I think I had only 1 cycle so guessed my cycle as around 29 days which would have given me AF due on Friday but as my tests are so faint I'm presuming that's a bit out. I did a test last weds which was negative and then on Thursday night which I thought I could see a faint line and then the boots own on Friday afternoon which was positive. I bought a load of the One Step tests which I'm doing crazily for no reason - still quite faint but getting darker I think! Saving a FRER for weds or thurs I think! Not sure when to refer myself to the midwife, we can self refer inmy area just by filling a form in online but don't want to fill it in too early!
I never had these worries with my first, literally took a FRER twice and didn't think about a chemical pregnancy at all! Ahhh! Hope you're feeling okay xxx

TFC90 · 16/02/2020 08:50

@greeny506 Me too! I think I peed on 6 one step tests, one FRER and one Clear blue yesterday... I don't know why I thought they were going to get darker given hcg doubles every 48 hours...

I've stopped taking as many since I told my hubby yesterday afternoon. I guess before I just wanted to make sure and have lots of proof to show him!

My One Step tests are still crazy faint, they were ludicrous yesterday, but the one I just took with FMU is stronger than yesterdays set. Phew! I was worried when my BBT dropped super low yesterday morning but it was back up where it needs to be this morning.

This is my first pregnancy ever and I've got all the worries!!!!! Trying so hard not to look at baby clothes and prams and cots but it's difficult not to get excited. @marauder1994 I've never had those and id the last two days of worrying are anything to go by, I'm not going to enjoy this or be happy until they are in my arms.....

marauder1994 · 16/02/2020 08:58

I keep thinking I'll be more relaxed after my 12 week scan. But I think I'll just find something else to worry constantly about!

Definitely just hope it's a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby at the end x

Bananaloaf88 · 16/02/2020 09:01

@tfc90 it's only natural to be excited! Don't let it take over though, it is so easy to get carried away. This time round i'm trying (not always succeeding) to stay neutral until I see a heartbeat after my experiences last year.

TFC90 · 16/02/2020 09:04

@bananaloaf88 I know but I know what I'm like.... All or nothing!

When will we get to see a heartbeat? Complete newbie at this!

I'm planning to ring the doctors on Monday... is that the right thing to do? Or should I be waiting until the positive line is the same strength as the test line?

3isthemagicnumber3 · 16/02/2020 09:05

Hi got a positive last week, 5 weeks and 1 day and due on 17th October. This will be my third baby. Symptoms are mild at the moment, very sore nipples and slight queasiness when hungry. Both previous pregnancies hideous morning sickness kicked in 6 wks on the dot. I am quite looking forward to that happenening for some reassurance, although dreading it on the other hand.

Bananaloaf88 · 16/02/2020 09:08

@TFC90 you can book a private scan at about 6/7 weeks you should see a heartbeat then. Unless there is reason to the NHS won't offer this but private scans aren't too expensive.

TFC90 · 16/02/2020 09:10

@bananaloaf88 so with the NHS you have to wait until the 12-week scan?

Sadie95 · 16/02/2020 09:41

@Bananaloaf88 yeah your first scan with the NHS is 12 weeks, with my first pregnancy I had a bleed at 8 weeks so they scanned me then as well to check everything was ok. Private scans start from 6 weeks onwards normally and are around £60-£80 where I live x

Bananaloaf88 · 16/02/2020 10:02

@TFC90 @Sadie95 Private reassurance scans are around £30/40 up here.

Usually on the NHS you have to wait till 10/12 weeks. I am booked in for a 6 week scan through the NHS because my last pregnancy was ectopic and they have to rule that out.

During that pregnancy I had two early scans due to bleeding.

TFC90 · 16/02/2020 10:12

@bananaloaf88 @Sadie95 I just looked near me and I saw one for £130... Clearly need to shop around!

Sadie95 · 16/02/2020 10:34

@TFC90 @Bananaloaf88 amazing the price difference in different areas! X

Bananaloaf88 · 16/02/2020 10:45

@Bananaloaf88 @Sadie95 There are a few different companies and packages. I saw some for £100 plus before but you got a pen drive etc. They often have deals up here on cheaper packages

marauder1994 · 16/02/2020 10:50

@Bananaloaf88 I remember last time it was £55 for a private scan near me, and with that you got to take a photo home.

I'm sure it was then £2.50 for each photo after the 1.. definitely shop around xx
