Hi all,

I am ftm nearly 6 weeks pregnant and have due date of 12/10/2020 ☺️ . Wanted to have mums who are expecting baby in October 2020 to share their journey experience.

How is everyone?

I'm feeling totally wiped, have no energy these last 2 days and just want to sleep
I know we've been decorating so I'm done alot but hate feeling this drained
Also had sharp pains in my lower left hand side, I'm assuming it's stretching pains but I still worry.
How are you xx

@Nic20052007 ahhh Iknow that feeling! I'm in bed no later than 7:30/8 most nights... I'm suffering with really bad headaches luckily paracetamol are taking it off and the midwife said it's completely normal at this stage

Aw bless you, I could just have a few nana naps throughout the day and I'd be ok lol. Yes I've been getting more headaches too. I feel like I forgot about these little things from my other 2 and I think as you get older it gets worse, plus you'd think if I've done it twice everything would be easy to stretch, but no it's hurting ha. Are you on the Facebook group? Xx

Had my 12 week scan today. Measuring 12 weeks +2 which is spot on.

Strange as had a scan last week where they measured me 12+1. Sonographer assumes they fit the measurements wrong.

No idea on gender theories but convinced she's a girl 🥰 in love already x

Lovely scan photo 😍 I did a nub tech test and I think it's pretty accurate to what I thought I was having anyway xx

Hi ladies, I had my scan yesterday. Still not sure on dates as this little one decided to put on a show for us all. Dr found it incredible difficult to get a measurement 🙈 I'm between 11+3 - 12+2.
I wasn't allowed to FaceTime my husband due to policy but I was allowed to take a short video of the baby once we saw it dancing about so much 🥰
I started a thread on nub guesses if any of you would like to join!

Hey all! Had my scan today and measuring 12 weeks+6 days and all is well! Baby was sucking thumb then was very active waving and rolling Congrats on other scans today! X

Congratulations on everyone with their scans' some lovely pics! Sounds like we have some active babies in there!

I'm really hoping at my next one when I'm 13+1 they lay still long enough for measurements for the tests and a nice pic for dh 🤣

Congrats everyone! I've got my scan on Tuesday and I'm very nervous, but these posts are putting my mind at ease a little x

Had my scan Tuesday..... little one was deff Being stubborn not letting the nurse measured the neck.. after moving a bit finally got there..

Has a nice strong heartbeat and all healthy.. just gotta wait till May 28th to find out the gender..

Any guesses to the gender? I think it's a girl so do the rest of my family but my little sister is the only one who thinks a boy..

@Lauren235 I'm not a pro at the nub theory but my attempt would say girl! On Fb you can join a group and post your Scan and they do guess apparently the mods and admins are usually quite right!

Hi everyone! Was waiting til I’d had my scan as wanted to make sure all was ok first, but I’m due 12th October with baby number 2! Would love to join the Facebook group as I still regularly post in the one from when I was pregnant my daughter and it’s such a lovely support network to have! We all have babies who are now turning 2, it goes incredibly quick! If anyone could let me know how to go about it or who to message that would be great! Hope you’re all doing ok, I’m still getting nausea but with my first it stopped at 14 weeks so really keeping my fingers crossed for the same again!!

I’m on the cusp of the 2 groups as my due date is November 1st and I’m having my scan next week.. hope you don’t mind me asking you all a question on here..

For those that have very recently had their dating scan did you have the combined testing done (screening for downs, Edwards etc)?

I have been told that due to COVID-19 my health trust is not doing the combined test for Edwards, downs and Pataus at the dating scan and that I will go to my midwife but she will only be able to do the Quadruple which only covers downs and is less accurate.

Just wondering if that’s been the case at anyone else’s dating scan?

@Luckyme30 I had my scan 30th March so wasnt allowed partner in but was allowed to facetime.

I had the combined bloods for the tests and results were in the post to me that week along with my 20 week scan. (Low risk) as they say low risk letters take longer to come but mine was within the week.

I cant see why they wouldnt do the combined testing due to COVID-19 and certainly would question that as that does not sound right at all you should still have it if you want it as it can only be done during a certain window of weeks.

Our midwife appts here in cornwall have been cancelled and 16 wks are being done over the phone instead.
