ZamMummy ? welcome ? congratulations on your bfp ? and good luck for your scan.

JolieGirl ? glad to hear the bleeding has stopped ? here?s hoping it stays stopped!

MrsMc ? I like the sound of ?Delia Smith of Breastfeeding? ? mind you, I?ve never used my breast milk in cooking ? [thinking emoticon!]

Bring on the abbreviations : presentation: Ceph means that your baby is head down ? ceph is short for cephalic ?

You?re not the only person who stands on the stone by the HQ ? it?s become quite a popular photo spot! ? the pizza shop is actually an Indian takeaway too, and we get people taking photos of that too!

MoM ? thinking of you!

Gingercat ? not a football fan ? rugby?s my game ? but I am finding it incredibly difficult to concentrate through a match! I?m finding that it?s better if I just watch the highlights!

Daisy ? hiya ? lovely to hear from the graduates!

Torres ? you be as quiet or as loud as you need to be ? we?re here if you need us.

Beckle ? I used to decant my drips into a bottle throughout the day, then fill an ice tray at the end of the day ? would then pop out the frozen milk and store it in a normal food storage bag. Just make sure that everybody knows it?s bm!

It also sounds like you may well have the start of spd beckle ? ask your mw for a physio referral ? and be prepared to chase it up!

Ellie ? I cried through the whole thing too at my first scan ? fab news!!

Fettle ? am channelling energy to you as we speak ? I am happy to join the LOTR army that supported me in my consultant appointment!

Well, I have had a lovely day: I met a friend for coffee in Ikea this morning, then went and had my hair cut, and my waxing done!

It?s the first rehearsal of Codi Canu II tonight ? and the production team have indicated that they may be wanting to do interviews with me ? I have to dig some makeup out! Looking forward to a good sing!!

Love to all, speak tomorrow!

Bouncingturtle · 13/09/2007 17:55

Yey! Ellie! Fab news about your beanie!

JolieGirl · 13/09/2007 18:38

Brilliant news Ellie! What a relief for you, I am so pleased

I have managed to get a doctors appt for tomorrow afternoon so fingers crossed she will refer me for an early scan in the next couple of weeks

Until then I have resigned myself to it just being a waiting game. Thankfully the spotting has totally stopped now, but I am still checking every 10 minutes it feels like. Gagging for a glass of wine wish I could have a large one

daisyandbabybootoo · 13/09/2007 18:45

DD is delightful, 14 weeks and a little smiler.

Big big for the elliebean...yay.

Glad it went OK today.

MoM...hope things are OK.

Joilegirl, i'm glad things havr settled down. try to keep positive and keep talking on here

you lot are busy so haven't caught up. I'm keeping an eye on the birth announcements though as there are few up and coming in the next few weeks. it's all very exciting.

hi to everyone. I#ll try to do a proper catch up soon!

spugs · 13/09/2007 19:11

MerlinsBeard · 13/09/2007 19:25

I'm back

i have a waving clapping dancing 13week baby [grin[]

am soooooooooooo happy

saw its little hands and feet, don't know how long it is as she measured the BPD instead but it was DEF moving altho i wouldn't belive that it wasn't just floating there until i saw the heart beating

the relief was huge i am telling you!

have had bubble feelings all day today which i think was how i started to feel movement with DS2. I felt him realy early...14 weeks i think.
tbh i don't care if its wishful thinking lol!!
Official date is 20th march

EllieG · 13/09/2007 20:11

YEY MOM!
So chuffed for you, was worried when you weren't posting!

What a nice day.

Glad things seem to be good with you too joliegirl, maybe there are some magic vibes around today?

I like the 'elliebean' daisyandbaby! Is a good name

That post didn't make much sense, sorry, but am very tired as awake most last night worrying, am going to bed soon to sleep and sleep and sleep ah.....healthy and well

Bouncingturtle · 13/09/2007 20:11

Fantastoc MoM
Daisy - 14 weeks, blimey time does fly!

Latest from A - she is now fully dilated and is now undergoing a trial of labour - the obs has her pushing gently, but if she does that for a few hours and nothing happens, they'll take her into theatre. I guess they are just concerned about putting too much strain on her heart.

Bouncingturtle · 14/09/2007 07:07

Had an email from A's DH - she had a baby boy last night, 8lb 2oz. Mummy and babba doing well

EllieG · 14/09/2007 09:53

Hurray! Lovely news. Pass on our love xxx

ejt1764 · 14/09/2007 12:15

Fab news all round ... MoM am for you!!

rubles · 14/09/2007 13:23

I haven't been on for ages due to moving house and not having a phone line and no internet connection (thank you Becklespeckle for remembering me!). I have just popped out to the local internet cafe and have a few minutes to just say hello here. I haven't had a proper chance to read down anyone's news but I gather from a skim that there is no birth news from anyone that I have missed (unless purplelostprincess has had hers but not announced it).

Good luck Fettle for Tuesday. I can't believe it has come around so soon - I remember you getting your BFP and me saying we would be waddling around together in 8 months time and here we are...I really can't believe it.

I really hope I get the internet sorted quickly and the builders out of our house so I can spend more time on here and catch up properly...I have to go now, love to you all!

torres · 14/09/2007 13:25

hello ladies

MOM- so pleased for you

ejt- how did the rehearsal go last night- sounds very impressive!

beckle- how are you bearing up with the pain? sounds horrid- sending you a big hug.

bouncingturtle- great news about your friend

off to the lakes tomorrow. I'm hoping a week with DH in the fresh air will keep me calm

becklespeckle · 14/09/2007 13:56

MOM - YAY!!! , so pleased scan went well! It may well be the start of movements you felt, I felt this one from 13 weeks but it was so faint I wasn't sure if I was imagining it at first - then it got stronger!

Ejt How did the rehearsal go?! I do hope it is not SPD although my friend who had it last year has been telling me to keep an eye on it since I first started getting stiff as that is how hers started. It is quite sore today but still mostly on one side. I am still not convinced thats what it is as sometimes it feels fine and then others not but I will be taking it up with the MW when I see her in a couple of weeks! Possibly sooner if it gets any worse although I don't think they offer physio for it here, my friend had it awfully and they just gave her a support belt and signed her off of work.

Rubles, glad you are okay! Had forgotten you were moving but am not the only one been asking after you! Hope all house stuff gets sorted soon!

Fettle & Mumpbump, how are you both?
Hi everyone else!

AnguaVonUberwald · 14/09/2007 13:59

MrsMcjnr - what is LMP? Sorry to be so thick, sure I should know it.

Becklespecle - thats very reasuring, glad DS was fine after the fall!!

becklespeckle · 14/09/2007 13:59

Thanks for the hug Torres! Am okay with the pain, just trying to get on with stuff as usual and making sure I give myself extra time when walking to the school and back! Have been cheating this week while taking DS2 to nursery though and using the car - the school and nursery are about half a mile from my house and 3 round trips a day was tiring me out! How are things with you today? Has bleeding all stopped?

AnguaVonUberwald · 14/09/2007 14:01

MOM, thats such good news, so pleased for you!!!

becklespeckle · 14/09/2007 14:14

Oops, meant to say am just using the car for the middle school run, walking for the other 2! Would feel too lazy if used the car every trip when the school is not that far away!
Angua, how are you? Hope all the crampyness has gone now!

torres · 14/09/2007 14:56

beckle- I was thinking 3 round trips in the car sounded very reasonable -I'm the lazy one! Feeling brighter today as spotting has stopped and thinking about going on hols is a good distraction

spugs · 14/09/2007 15:16

where in the lakes are you going torres? i love it there even lived there for a couple of years at one point

AnguaVonUberwald · 14/09/2007 15:29

becklespeckle - I have backproblems anyway, so the falling over wasn't the best thing - but feeling much better now - no real cramping

MrsMcJnr · 14/09/2007 15:32

Afternoon ladies very sleeping ? got that Friday feeling.

MOM ? lovely news hon congratulations!!

Feedmenow ? hey

Gingercat ? I know how you feel about the worry setting in again, my scan was only last Tues and I was a bit wobbly yesterday but a bit better today, hope you are too

Torres hon, you have been quiet, I have been thinking about you sorry about the spotting and this weekend?s significance great news that the scan went well the only way to get through this is to break the weeks up and have mini milestones, take it the next scan will be in a couple of weeks? That?s your next milestone hon xxx Have a lovely time at the lakes I?ll be on hols in Spain on what should have been my EDD, I am going to find the most perfect rose and throw it out to see in memory.

Beckle ? lovely long post from you so sweet about the feet ? I saw one at the last scan (there were 2 though!) sorry to hear about the pains maybe some physio would help ? thanks for letting me know what Ceph means, from what I could see the baby was head in a different direction every 5 mins!

Oohhh Bouncing ? so exciting for your friend! lovely news!!! Got a letter from HR about mat leave beginning on 24/12/07 and it said I don?t have to go back until 24/12/08 ? if only that were true!!

Ah EllieG that?s fab!! Wonderful! Now keep repeating the mantra ?healthy and well?!

Ejt ? LOL at breast milk in cooking ? what a delicacy! thanks for answering my question hope the rehearsal was fun.

Joliegirl ? thinking of you hon x

Hey Rubles we miss you, come back soon! Glad all is well

Angua ? sorry hon date of last period? I was going to work out the EDD based on that for you.
