Rah!!! - so lovely to see your name - think of you often and lurk to check up on temp buds all the time. I am so hoping you come to join the grad thread v v v v soon. How are things going with you, ae you any further with specialists/hospital etc.
I am fine - in that limbo 15/16 week phase - had the scan and last week heard the heartbeat but still feeling too good to be true. 4 weeks until next scan and counting.
Wish you were here - but have faith that you will be - I just selfishly want to be here with you (and Ready too)
I am sure greedy, fettle, MrsMc et al will be along as soon as she sees this.
XXXX {{{{big hugs}}}}}

fettleandminifettle · 03/08/2007 18:39

Hi Rah!!!

how you doing sweetheart?

I'm 32 weeks now and feeling very pregnant today in the heat - not that I'm complaining.

Having a boy, as per 22 week scan. Got another scan in 2.5 weeks as I'm measuring a bit small for dates, so hopefully it will be clearer this time!

Other than that all going well so far, just a bit shattered as i'm anemic, but mainly because i'm still working too hard! Finish 4 weeks today (if I last that long!!).

Do so hope you join us soon - keep positive, it will happen. How are all the tests etc going?

take care

Rainbowdays · 03/08/2007 19:50

Rah - I have only just left you, are you missing me already !!! I am really hoping that this one stays put for me, but it is early days at only 4+3. You have to come here soon like seaside said, I don't want to do this without you or Ready.

iampgatlast · 04/08/2007 11:18

hello rah!!!

we have all missed you and cannot wait for you and the rest of the gang to come over to our thread then we can feel "complete"

i hope your tests are going ok and that you are still keeping your chin up

i am now 15 weeks, having a sexing scan on the 18th - i cannot wait! have not heard the heartbeat yet but i feel that everything is ok atthe moment as my tummy is rapidly expanding!!

take care and see you soon xxxx

RahRah1 · 04/08/2007 17:57

Wow you guys are all doing so well... so proud of you all!

So little Fettle is a boy, how wonderful... Any names yet? Hope your scan goes well.

Excellent news Seaside on seeing the heartbeat... I can't believe you are 15 weeks already... WOW!! Where has the time gone?

Rainbowdays, sure this one will stick. Its a bit like MrsMc, she caught straight after and hers has stuck very well

iampgatlast, I think I will nick your name when I finally make it over...lol. WOW 15 weeks aswell. Good luck at the scan and keep me updated.

I have been put on the waiting list for IUI in a couple of months. We will start our treatment virtually 12 months after we lost Bertie. So least we have a plan of action. So just chilling out and trying naturally whilst we wait. I will keep you all updated.
Ready is feeling a little low at the moment, so is having a bit of a rest from MN, TTC as you all know is very hard. But as soon as it happens, all of that will be out the window.
Hopefully me and Ready will catch in the same month...On our tread pregnancy seems to happen in groups

Take Care and Gives the beanies a rub from me! XX

fettleandminifettle · 04/08/2007 18:17

Hi Rah

Great news you are due to start IUI - I hope it works out.

you're right though, the temp thread does seem to have runs of luck - just wish it was more constant - must be due some more now that Rainbowy has her BFP again.

Try and keep positive, but of course we all remember how utterly all-encompassing TTC can be and how utterly awful you feel everytime it doesn't work. Even 32 weeks later, I can still remember that stress and negativity. I am really worried about Ready as she is normally so positive - I hope the break does her some good. I'm glad to hear you sounding more upbeat at the moment - it must be so hard coming up to the anniversary of losing Bertie. Big supportive hugs from me and my bump, which I'm rubbing for good luck for you.

take care and enjoy a nice cold glass of pimms or Rose in this lovely weather we are finally having!

RahRah1 · 05/08/2007 19:05

Thanks Fettle, you guys take care too... Won't be long before we see pictures of your little man in the flesh! Keep me posted. XX

Hope the sun was not too bad for you guys, its sooooooooo uncomfortable when your pregnant!

Love 'THE' Rah Xx

Hi Rah lovely to hear from you. How are you? I?m fine and well 17 weeks tomorrow and expanding daily. We?ve had 4 scans now so Beanie Skeletor has quite a portfolio of pics 6 weeks, then 8, then 13+ then 14+ next one is at 21 weeks on 4/9 ? looking forward to that point as hoping all will be ok and we?ll be past our danger point. We were at the MW on Weds and we heard the HB and kicking, it was lovely think I might be feeling some squirms but not sure. Glad to hear you have a plan and I hope the IUI works a treat. Poor Ready did seem low, she came over to tell us she was going to have a break. Hope we see you both over here very soon. Rubbing the bump and saying a special prayer for you x

greedygreedyguzzler · 07/08/2007 10:16

hiya RAH!
i am really pleased you started this thread, it gets a bit awkward posting on the temping buds thread, especially as there are now lots of new people who dont know us so well.

glad to hear you sounding chilled out and good news about the IUI starting soon hopefully. is IUI - intra uterine insemination? i have always thought it stood for that but is that ACTUALLY what it really stands for?

i am 32 weeks now too ( only a day behind fettle). feel ok most of the time, heat isnt really a problem cos i LOVE the sun and frazzling my skin! not sure when i am stopping working, but hopefully soon! our house in in the middle of an extension so my ds and dd dont have bedroomsa at the moment and we are all staying at my mums, which is getting a bit much now! ( we have been here for a few weeks on and off and i think i am bugging her and she is DEFINATELY bugging me!!!)........................AND she feeds me too much! and i just cant say no!!! i think i have gained another 7lbs since i have been here!!

oh and we are having a little girl! completely undecided on names.....if you have any bright ideas for slightly unusual girls names the i would be grateful................needs to go with Ellis and Kiki................

Take care! and like fettle says, do some drinking for me!!!..........mine's a lager and lime....or a big chilled glass of sauvingon blanc..............

MrsMcJnr · 07/08/2007 10:36

Greedy ? what the hell is wrong with me? read your post and thought I didn?t know your?s was a pink one and then I remembered that I did as we discussed the fact that the old adage of female sperm swimming slow and hanging around longer v male sperm swimming faster and dying quickly came true in your case ? that takes me no further forward on the flavour of mine ? always think it?s a boy on screen, not because I see anything but just a feeling but most of the time when I think about Beanie, it?s a she DH thinks Beanie?s a girl but that?s based on probability ? there are 3 boys in this generation of my family and no girls yet! I?m so excited at the prospect of either!!!

beansprout · 09/08/2007 19:57

Hello!!!

So lovely to see you all!!! It's good here, 15+1 and so far, so good (sickness etc aside!). Am with seaside on the limbo phase, am now in the much longed for symptomless phase and of course am now worrying about my lack of symptoms!! Arghh!!

Where is the time going though?! It's true that 2nd pregs move along that bit quicker!!

MrsMcJnr · 10/08/2007 09:46

Hey Beansprout so pleased to hear that it is all goin well for you

RahRah1 · 11/08/2007 08:44

Congratulations Greedy...

So that means we have a little boy and a little girl so far... ARRRRR... It would be great if they became sweethearts!

On the subject of girls names I had the following on my list if we were having a girl: Evee, Tallulah, Ava, Bella, Daisy and Winnie. My friend loves Ruby and Betsy as well.
But in my husbands family its all boys and we also had a boy, so think I should stick to boys names for my next one too!

Love your other kids names, they are lovely!

MrsMcJnr - sounds like you are having more scans than I did! Sounds fantastic! So glad they are keeping good care of you!

beansprout - Good to hear you are doing well. Glad the sickness has lessened! Keep me updated on your 20 week scan!

I can't believe how far everyone is... the time has flown!

Speak soon - love Rah Xx

greedygreedyguzzler · 11/08/2007 11:50

hey beany! glad to hear you are doing well. and glad it is going quickly for you!!! the last 10 wks or so have flown past for me too!!!!think its cos i havent been thinking 'baby' much, just everything else going on instead so my mind has been taken off the pg a bit. sure you will start to feel baby moving soon and then be reassured that all is ok!

greedygreedyguzzler · 11/08/2007 11:52

love your names Rah, hopefully you will get to use one of them soon. i LOVE bella too, but our surname is Jones and i just keep thinking i cant give a child the initials BJ, cos that always meant Blow job at my school when i was growing up............can't really call my kid blow job can i? might be seen as a bit cruel!!!

Ready · 11/08/2007 14:29

Oh Rah, I am so pleased you started this thread

I still want to know who made mean comments about the graduates posting in conception?

Greedy - What names have you been toying with?

Rah - Out of your list, Daisy is my favourite. It sounds so sweet

Seaside - Rah and me are doing our best to get our bums over here, and it would be wonderful to come over together!!! Fingers and toes crossed for us

Fettle - So sweet of you to worry about me. To be honest, for a while there, I was worried about myself. I am never normally a pessimist, so it was clearly getting to me. I think that I am feeling better because the ball is rolling with my consultant, and I am feeling more like it's my body's will that is stopping conception, because of things going on in our life, rather than thinking that it will never happen. If that makes sense?

MrsMcJnr - Pleased to hear you are still rubbing your bump for me and Rah Keep it going How are you doing? I often think of you whenever I hear about people injecting themselves. You are so brave How's the house sale going? Fingers crossed for you.

Rainbowdays - How are you feeling? Is the plumber back off his holiday yet? Crack that whip!!

Iampgatlast - Love the name change!! How are you feeling?

Beansprout - Lovely to "see" you. Glad things are going well.

Sorry if I have missed anyone

Rainbowdays · 11/08/2007 19:55

Wow it is so so good to have our old group back together, (London Lottie missing though! Hope she is doing ok, is there anyone else missing here?)

I am finally starting to feel pregnant - wooppie!!! The tiredness and bloating and being much more irritable and fussy over food.... oh the fun of it all. I still need the plumber to come off holiday, so monday I will use all my irritability on him I think!!! Once the plumber has finished I will be moving house so fast that the neighbours won't know what has happened!

Ready - glad to hear you are back with us again, I miss you when you are not here. Good to hear that the hsg went ok, so it is all good news so far.

Rah - do you need me to start ranting yet, you are in the horrible 2ww aren't you>?

Greedy - hope you are relaxing having finished packing boxes? I am just starting to pack mine to move, moved a few across already, but no longer carrying heavy boxes.

Hi to Beansprout too, havent said hi to you in a while.

to Seaside, Fettle, Iampg, MrsMc and any other old lurkers that I might have missed.

MrsMcJnr · 11/08/2007 20:37

Rah ? they?ve got the babies all paired up on the Graduate thread I hope that there is someone left for my Beanie Like your names ? you just never know, you might get a girl yes, lots of scans here, it is good to feel looked after but somehow, the weeks in between seem so long and scary! How are you?

Greedy ? PMSL agree BJ are not good initials!

Oh Ready so lovely to hear from you CAT me will you so I can send you an email ? Greedy thinks you?ll appreciate what I have to share so glad to hear that you are feeling a bit more like your old self. What?s next for you? What?s your news? House sale going ok? DH got a club? Our house sale is still not happening I so hope it does soon. Thank you for your kind words about the injections, I don?t feel brave don?t be a stranger x

Rainbowdays ? I was just thinking about Lottie the other day. She must be back from Spain now. I hope she?s well, I?d love to know how she is and if she?s met a lovely new man. I always had a good vibe that good things were about to happen for her, I so hope I was right.

Ready · 12/08/2007 12:25

MrsMc - I haven't paid my subscription to the CAT facility, do you have Seaside/Rah/Rainbowdays email details? all 3 of them can give you my email address. I am super intrigued about this email I should be seeing Crumbs I sound like a right miser don't I? I'm not, honest
You are very brave! I have been thinking about IVF lately, and I really don't think I would be able to inject myself for that. The thought of it makes me feel sick - so I think you are fab for being able to inject! Sorry to hear that your house is still for sale - fingers crossed for you that someone will snap it up soon!
DH still not fixed up, which is so terrifying. Actually makes us feel (slightly)relieved that we haven't conceived yet, can you imagine the panic we'd be in if I were, say, 7 months gone, with no clue of where our next pay check would come from! Haha, who'd have thought! The house sale seems to be progressing nicely (touch wood), although in my dark moments, I fear that it will all fall through.

Rainbowdays - I think about Lottie too, I really miss her. I wonder if she ever lurks on here?? I bet she will be thrilled to see the BFPs! I do hope she is happy, wherever she is.
Glad you are feeling pregnant now, tell me what that feels like, would you?
Who is doing the rest of the painting on your new house now that you are not allowed? If you were closer I would come and do it for you

honeyapple · 12/08/2007 12:29

Hello... thought I'd pop in too.

Beansprout- great to hear from you.. was getting a bit worried as you hadnt been posting on the grad thread.

Rah and Ready- I am having a little boy... judging by the HUGE testicles!
I think we are 90% sure on a name... but you'll have to wait until birth day for me to share it.

This is my 30th week... feeling a bit heavy and achy but very happy.

Hope that we have some more graduates VERY soon. Rah- good luck with the IUI.

Lots of love xx

greedygreedyguzzler · 12/08/2007 17:46

hiya ready!!!! glad you are back again!!! i might have got it wrong about the email, i just thought i remembered you saying something in the past and thought you might like it!!!

rainbowdays - it is fettle who should be unpacking not me!!! we are just in the middle of an extension and our house is CHAOS!!! it really got to me yesterday actually and i couldn't stop crying!! feel better today though!!

fettleandminifettle · 12/08/2007 18:09

Hi all

So fantastic to have us all together again - just wish Rah and Ready had bumps too - lots of stroking of mine for you.

Great to hear you sounding better Ready.

We are mid-way through our homeless phase - stitting in a hilton hotel waiting for supper, with a very tired DD! i'm pretty shattered too - roll on Tuesday when I'll be back in my own bed!

Big hugs to all - i'll be back properly on Tuesday/wednesday hopefully.

take care
xxx

iampgatlast · 12/08/2007 20:50

READDDDYYYYY!!!

so nice to see you back xx its so nice to have us all back together again!!
sorry dh hasnt found a club yet. and you are moving? i probably knew this but have just forgotten. i hope it all goessmoothly for you.

i have been thinking about lottie too, i hope she is in a more peaceful place with herself its the least she deserves. hello lottie if you do manage to read one day

so whats the latest with you ready? i was a bit worried as its not like you to be so low so it makes you realise things must be bad for you sending you uber hugs and baby bump rubs your way -and to you rah!!!

we have just exchanged contracts on our new house and get the keys next friday we got let down twice previously so didnt even think we would ever get this far!

hi to beansprout - where have you been hiding?!

rah - hope you are keeping positive and im keeping your place on the graduate thread warm!! time has flown by but we miss you guys!!

sending you all love and hugs and lucky belly rubs xxxx

Rainbowdays · 13/08/2007 09:14

Greedy - whoops sorry, I got confused, I thiought that you were still staying with the in-laws, but I posted before checking. I knew you were doing an extension, just forgot to check if you had moved back home yet. My preggo brain has hit me!!!

Fettle - Only one more sleep before you move?! Hope it goes smoothly and that you are back to us soon.

Iampg - wow, I had not realised that you were on the move too, hope that it all goes smoothly for you too.

Ready - you are here with the illustrial order of the movers!!! Hope that you are not drowned under boxes yet. Great to have you back.

MrsMc - hope that you get your move soon too.

Honeyapple, beansprout, seaside, Rah are any of you moving too!!!!

Sorry about that little focus on moving, it is all my little brain can cope with at the moment. Ready asked what being pg felt like... well my brain is like mush, my stomach is getting fussy over food and I am like the wiked witch from the west, when it comes to moods. I have just started to try using the seabands to help the nausea. I am still feeling a little nervous at this stage, as with the m/c I felt nausious and I am now panicking incase this nausea is a m/c rather than morning sickness. But I only have to wait a couple more weeks for another scan.

It is strange how we all worry about not getting pg, then once we get passed that point, we worry if we can get to the 12 week mark, then next we worry if everything is progressing as it should, then we worry about the impending birth, then we worry about if the baby is eating properly ,...... I don't think that worry stops once you start to ttc!

MrsMcJnr · 13/08/2007 10:43

Ready email me at Amanda dot moore figure one at tesco dot net re injecting, it?s like most things in life, the thought is actually worse than the doing! I think when the outcome is something you really want, it is easier I hope it doesn?t come to that for you though hon. Sorry you have all the stress of DH?s job, I know what you mean about the dark moments my worst fear is that we haven?t sold the house when we have the baby, we are terrified about money because it?s bad already with 2 salaries and that I?ll have to go back to work soon afterwards and find money for childcare, DH has told me not to worry but I can?t help it

Hello to everyone else, hello Rah
