Hi everyone, sorry I am so crap at posting on this thread, but am glad you are all here.

Ready - so sorry you didn't get your bfp this month
Rah - good luck for the "business end" of this month!

Rainbow - so glad your scan well, a heartbeat is great news!!

Mrs McJnr - hello!

Fettle and greedy - will give some thought to your dates and weights (well, the baby's, not yours, ahem!). Ds was 10lb 5oz so I hereby throw down my gauntlet!

Ok here, 18weeks today and feeling much better now the sickness has finally passed. Am nearly half way through - yikes!! Haven't put on 6 stone but I'm sure it's a bit more than the 10lbs the books tell me. I don't have scales, so have no idea >.

RahRah1 · 29/08/2007 08:40

WOW beansprout, have not heard from you for ages... HOWDY!

So glad the sickness is passing... WOOOHOOO 18 weeks. That is mega!. Like you said nearly half way.

I can't believe how quick the time is passing.

WOW 10lb 5... OUCH that got to have hurt!

Beansprout - lovely to hear from you and so glad things are going so well, going to come to Due in NY soon?

Ready · 29/08/2007 12:14

Just popping in to say CD1 Thanks for the support

MrsMcJnr · 29/08/2007 12:23

THIS cycle Ready - this one! xxx

beansprout · 29/08/2007 12:46

I was on the due in NY thread but miscarried, so I am haunting the Feb thread which was my original due date for this one. Ds was 3 weeks late so I think this one will arrive early Feb at the very earliest (although stranger things have happened!)

Will pop in and say hi at some point though!

We have 4 sets of twins though (not me!)

MrsMcJnr · 29/08/2007 12:52

Beansprout _ I am so sorry and so embarrased I am 20 weeks and just assumed we'd be on the same thread as I am due 15/1 and we have ladies on our thread due in March! hope I haven't hurt you x

We have one set of twins (she already has a set of triplets!) and lots of flavour finding at the mo

beansprout · 29/08/2007 12:57

Of course not!!
I was due v early January so had been and gone before a lot of other people joined anyway!

Wow, twins on top of triplets. That's something. Respect!

RahRah1 · 29/08/2007 13:19

I would call it nervous breakdown! Jesus! Triplets and then twins! Bet she won't be in a hurry to have any more!

beansprout · 29/08/2007 13:46

That is damn efficient though - 5 children from 2 pregnancies. Am impressed. Was it fertility treatment or am I just being nosey now (tell me if I am)?

MrsMcJnr · 29/08/2007 14:29

Nope - natural both times!

RahRah1 · 29/08/2007 16:17

Jesus, her husband must have super sperm! ... I wonder if she would lend him out!

MrsMcJnr · 30/08/2007 11:44

Hey Greedy she hasn't posted for a week or so, poor thing had only just joined and we asked so many questions that we may have scared her off, that said, she is probably really busy with 3 LOs already!

RahRah1 · 01/09/2007 17:09

Where is everyone, hope everyone is OK... Speak soon and have a nice weekend! Xx

fettleandminifettle · 01/09/2007 18:14

Hi Rah

Everyone seems to disappear at weekends - suppose they have RL to deal with !!!

All well here - MW appointment yesterday morning and she thinks head might be 2/5 engaged, which is quite exciting. Started my maternity leave yesterday and am suddenly exhausted as the pressure lifts!! DH unfortunately has a migraine today, so is shouting at DD in the bath, so i think I'd better go and adjudicate - never quite sure who's the adult and who's the toddler when they get like this! They wind each other up so easily!![sign emoticon!]

Hope all well you? Doing anything exciting this weekend?

Take care

RahRah1 · 02/09/2007 14:58

ohhhh how exciting. so looks like the baby is getting ready for an appearance. Remember my estimate was: Fettle - 38 weeks 8lb 3. so I don't think I will be that far out.

Weekend is OK, drank too much wine yesterday night and have a bit of a pant's hangover. We had to empty the loft in preparation for moving. So we are trying to save money and get ourselves organised... YAWN! The loft was disgusting as we just dumped so much up there, my skin felt like it was crawling with spiders... YUK!

LOL at your husband and daughter.... .. no comment on that one!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and WOOOOHOOO about being on maternity leave... ENJOY!

OP posts:
fettleandminifettle · 02/09/2007 17:59

Skin crawling with spiders - nice!!!

When do you move? Have you a date for completion etc? Thankfully we are pretty much there after our move - only boxes still unpacked have curtains etc which we have nowhere to put, so thinking what to do with them at the moment.

My mat leave isn't going to be as restful as first thought - started itching last night, so went for a check-up today and have to go back on Tuesday and Friday as well - hoping like crazy, it is just random itching and not obstetric cholestasis, as really don't want the worry for these last few weeks - (get blood test results on Tuesday) although if it is ob cholestasis, you'll be spot on the arrival date as I'll be induced at 38 weeks!

Anyway, off for a long, bubbly bath now!

speak soon

beansprout · 03/09/2007 19:44

How are you today fettle? V exciting that someone is in home straight!

Ok here, have had my first taste of looking after 2 children today (ds plus a 3 yo). Did quite well but am knackered!!

fettleandminifettle · 03/09/2007 19:46

Hi Beany

How old is DS? I would think DS and a 3-yr-old would be pretty extreme multi-parenting for your first experience!!!

I've spent all day alone with my DD (3 yr) and I'm exhausted!! She managed an hour's kip in the car, but i was obviously driving and then just couldn't get comfortable to have alittle doze when we got home! She starts pre-school tomorrow morning, so hopefully once I'm back from the hospital, I'll be able to have a quick doze before I collect her after lunch.

Hope all well with you?

beansprout · 03/09/2007 19:53

Hi

Ds is 2.10 but fortunately, the 3 yo is his friend from the CM's (who is off this week) so they have been trained to play well together. I think I got off (relatively) lightly!

Ok here, am 18+5 and a lot more tired in this pregnancy, but I suppose that's not too surprising! Now have to battle into work for 3 days with no tube system and have another day of double childcare on Friday!! Phew!!

I wish you well for when labour starts...!

Rainbowdays · 03/09/2007 20:37

Hi all, just moved house over the weekend, and no internet or phone at new house, so I am a bit out of communication at the moment. Hope all is well with everyone.

beansprout · 03/09/2007 20:40

Hope that went well Rainbow!
