Oh my goodness... this thread fell out of my "recently posted on" - I have missed out on lots!

Fettle - how exciting!!!! Can't wait to hear all about the birth

Rainbowdays - Hope the move went smoothly?

How is everyone?

Just out of curiousity... Has anyone heard from Seaside lately?? I am worried about her.

fettleandminifettle · 06/09/2007 13:28

Hi ready - Seaside just checked into the TTC graduates thread this morning. Been out of contact for a while, but all seems well with her!

Hope all well with you - seems quiet over the temp buddies thread at the moment? I hope you and DH get some good news soon regarding a move - must be so unsettling. Still keeping everything crossed that you get your BFP this month.

Take care

Ready · 08/09/2007 19:22

Thanks for that Fettle - glad Seaside is ok
Thanks for keeping fingers crossed for me. I hope that I get there soon, I am hopeful that once things are more settled for DH and me, then the BFP won't be far behind
Looking forward to hearing from you very soon. And pictures too please

Hope everyone else is good???

fettleandminifettle · 08/09/2007 19:47

Hi Ready, my sweetheart - how you doing?

can I admit to stalking you? I was reading your description of the HSG - sounds quite scary and you sounded very brave! Glad it all showed up clear though, although in a way sometimes unexplained difficulties are harder to deal with (well I found that anyway!). You will get there, I'm sure. It took me 2 years both times we tried (although the 2nd time it was due to mc that it took so long).

You are right, after you know what is happening with DH, you may well find that relief comes along with a BFP!

Everyone else is doing well - heard from Rainbowdays (Mum03) today and she seems happy and relaxed - you should stalk the graduates thread - everyone there would love to hear from you. But I'll keep trying to get them to come on here to "speak" to you as well!

You take care of yourself and of course I'll post pictures - MrsMc has my e-mail address and I think she has yours, maybe she can be our go-between!!

speak soon
love
F

Ready · 08/09/2007 20:03

Fettle Thanks for your sweet message! Of course I don't mind you stalking me Stalk away! I did waffle on about the HSG didn't I? - but in my defence, Minxi did ask! It wasn't a lovely experience, but I went in expecting worse, so it wasn't too bad.
You do give me hope, 2 years isn't that long in the grand scheme of life, is it? and I could cope with waiting 2 years, if only I knew it would be x amount of time. If that makes sense? Our life is very unsettled at the moment, and it is quite scary if I am honest - but I just keep telling myself we will get there. We are still only 28, so plenty of time yet for babies, once we are more settled.
I do miss you all - and this might sound mean (I hope not) but I can't bring myself to visit your thread at the moment, it just reminds me too much that I am not really supposed to be there?
I hope you know what I mean by that - I don't begrudge any of you being there, just desperately wish I was with you. Sigh. I sound like a bitch - Not very good at explaining what I mean. Sorry if I have offended anyone . But please don't feel that you have to get everyone to come and post here - so long as we know everyone is ok, that's all that matters
You've reminded me, I must email Rainbowdays - I do owe her one. But I am sure she is super busy with the move and everything, and hasn't missed me Feel free to get my email address from MrsMc - can't wait to see some pics of minifettle - how exciting
Take care x

fettleandminifettle · 08/09/2007 20:11

Hey, Ready, I know exactly what you mean - don't you worry at all. That's why i've been telling you here how everyone is, as I didn't think you'd really want to read the other thread. I can well imagine how awful you must feel deep down, in an entirely personal and not really selfish way - I'd feel the same way, believe me! Although we don't really know eachother, we've been through a lot over the last few months and got to know eachother, that it is like real-life friends and I know how hard I found them announcing their pregnancies when I couldn't conceive. You're happy for them, but you so wish it was you!

I want you, Rah and Minxi to get your BFPs so much as you were all there for me during the hard times last year. In fact, my emotional state is making me cry for you all as I write this. Better go before I electrocute myself!!

Big hugs

Rainbowdays · 10/09/2007 21:36

Quick wave to everyone,,, sorry still on borrowed time on pc so no time to chat. Hope to get the landline in before october...

Byeeee

Ready · 10/09/2007 23:20

Fettle - I knew you would understand what I meant But I am sorry that I made you cry. Although I will blame your hormones, to stop from feeling guilty.
I am hoping that minifettle comes along this week. I am checking all the time to see if any news from you or greedy. I think Honeyapple is next then, if memory serves?? How exciting for you all! Send my love to all the grads

Rainbowdays - Glad the move went well... looking forward to pictures

fettleandminifettle · 11/09/2007 08:14

Off for another check-up today - may be admitted today if bloods have gone up too much! Bit scary as it is all so close now - but I'll let you know as soon as I can!

Take care and big hugs!!

Bodkin · 11/09/2007 10:11

Hello everyone... just popping in for a quick cuppa and a catch up!

Ready Sorry, I have been a bit rubbish with keeping up with where you are at... But I gather the tests you have had have not revealed anything specific. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad, because being in limbo is no fun at all... Anyway, will try to keep up a bit more and hope hope hope that things will happen soon for you...

RahRah1 · 11/09/2007 16:09

Hi Fettle. Hope all went well at the appointment. OMG it is pretty soon! Hope they have not kept you in.

Hope everyone else is well. I'm in a horrid mood as AF is on her way. My stomach is well crampy and had a temp dip. So on a self pitying
mood today of 'why me' life sucks' bla bla bla

Oh dear. I bet go quickly and get some choco's and some reality mag's so I can wallow a bit more and read up on 'amazing' stories that might make me feel a bit better!

OP posts:
fettleandminifettle · 11/09/2007 16:24

Rah so sorry to hear AF is coming again - just not fair. Hope the chocolate and reality magazines help a bit - at least they make you realise that your life is more normal that other peoples!! Have you been reading all the stuff about the BB people? i've managed to avoid it all - never quite sure what the fascination is with all these 15 min of fame people - but good on them milking it for as much as poss!!

How's the new house coming along? i saw in one of my stalking moments that you had quite a busy weekend with looking at kitchens etc - hope it works out just as you want it! Any firm dates for the move yet?

Not been kept in today! Still waiting and seeing how liver enzymes go over next few days - booked for induction next Tuesday if nothing worsens between now and then!

Take care and lots of belly rubbing for you going on - big hugs
xxxx

RahRah1 · 11/09/2007 16:55

WOW Fettle next week... WOOOHOOOO.. the threads first baby!! Perhaps we should get it on web cam!

I refused to get stressed with the house as it is just a house! But the couple buying our house keep asking questions through their solicitors and its delaying the exchange. GRRRR which is very annoying. But we have chosen all our extras now and think we have got our kitchen sorted. We did consider ripping it out once we got in there, but now just gone for upgrades. But I still dislike the cabinets, but the prices of kitchens have really gone up. We had solid wooden tops in the house we have at the mo, but now they are quoting nearly £2,000 for walnut tops... a bit pricey!

Well I'm off to watch deal or no deal and then come dine with me ... love that program!

Thanks for your message Fettle, really appreciate it and really hope everything remains stable for you. I have my fingers crossed for you! But phew for not being kept in there! I was in hospital for a month with Bertie and it was like being caught up in prisoner cell block H! lol... those bossy midwives and sloppy dinners!

OP posts:
Ready · 13/09/2007 16:59

Fettle - How exciting that you are nearly there. Have you decided on a name yet?? Are you sharing it with anyone? Sorry for being so nosy! I can't wait to see pictures
Hope that you are feeling nice and relaxed. Looking forward to hearing from you real soon!

Bodkin - Don't worry about not keeping up with this thread. You have plenty of other things to worry about, before posting on MN! Don't give yourself a hard time. It's just lovely to hear that all is going well from time to time. I hope you don't mind, I looked at your profile pics. You look stunning and so quickly after giving birth - what's the secret?

Rah - I am loving the spirit, of not letting the house stress you out! Good for you! I have a fair few things to tell you, so I will email you tonight. DH is away again, so it'll no doubt be another sleepless night for me. Tut. Sending big hugs, so sorry that it is CD1 for you.

Anyone else lurking - BIG WAVE!

fettleandminifettle · 13/09/2007 17:27

Hello!!

Still hanging in there - more blood taken today, so we'll see how they come back tomorrow probably.

DH is set on Toby for a name - what do you all think? I'm not 100% sure, but as I can't think of an alternative and I chose DD's name (Lexi), I kind of feel it is fair if DH has final say on this one!

Everyone is well on the TTC graduate thread - Greedy is obviously due soon after me - she's aiming to go into labour on Tuesday with me, but I think that's wishful thinking on our part!! Honey is due a few weeks after that. I'm sure you hear from MrsMc, but all well with her - she's had her 20 week anomaly scan, so feels slightly more relaxed now about things.

anyway, hope you manage to get some sleep tonight, Ready - I hate DH being away. Thankfully his new job hopefully will mean he is away less often than normal!

Anyway, must go cook some supper.

take care and big hugs

Ready · 15/09/2007 15:28

Hope all is well with everyone?? Me, I am stressed out at the moment, really not a good environment for my eggs. So not feeling optimistic at all this cycle. But then maybe not conceiving is for the best?

Excited for you Fettle - Can't wait to hear some news from you really soon Lexi is a lovely name by the way!!

Rah - I hope you are doing ok? I thought of you yesterday, I was massivley cheesed off, and bought minstrels and m&ms, on special in Tesco.... Chocolate is a must for any girl down in the dumps!!

However, after all the choc last night, I felt really guilty, so did a double work out!! Then felt guilty about working out too hard and probably hampering conception/implantation. Why must we torture ourselves so much???

RahRah1 · 15/09/2007 17:56

Evening all.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Our friends are coming round soon, so have to be quick.

Ready - I will message you back ASAP>. Hope your DH is OK and is having a good time training.

Fettle - How were the blood tests. Hope all is OK.

I have gone to see a Chinese herbalist today and had acupuncture and herbs made up. He is warming my womb and preparing me for pregnancy. How cool is this. I thought I would do something proactive in preparation for the clinic's treatment in Jan, so I don't feel like I am just waiting around on them. Its quite costly though! The herbs are well expensive. £65 for 2 weeks worth.
But its worth a try, just in case it works. The acupuncture was interesting and afterwards I felt similar pains to when I was pregnant, so he must of done something. I will keep you all updated.

Take Care everyone XX

Ready · 15/09/2007 18:02

ooooh. Rah that sounds really exciting!! Looking forward to hearing all about it!!Don't worry about replying asap. There's no rush! Enjoy your evening!

fettleandminifettle · 15/09/2007 18:54

Rah - that sounds very interesting! Being a scientist I was always sceptical about these alternative therapies until I tried reflexology on my Hen Do and was amazed by what the reflexology could say about me without me saying anything! Fascinating! I so hope it works for you - good time of year to get your womb warmed up though!! going to get nippy next week I think.

Hope you have a good evening with your friends.

Ready, sorry to hear you're stressed, but it's not easy to remain unstressed with everything going on in your life. It's so hard not to focus on everything too much i think.

anyway, my appointment this morning was ok - baby is doing well. Liver enzymes up, but not too much, but they'd forgotten to do my bile acid count, so now I'm itching more than ever this evening jumping everytime the phone rings thinking it is the hospital saying my levels have gone up and can I come in now! but i'm sure it is ok, just panicking as it is getting close now.

Hope you have good evenings!

Take care

Rainbowdays · 18/09/2007 10:14

Fettle - having baby today (sorry MrsMc to butt in before you had a chance to announce it!) Hope it all goes well fettle

MrsMcJnr · 18/09/2007 15:17

Ladies sorry its been a while - DH and I have been buggy obsessing! Hope everyone is well, will now try and catch up - no news yet on the Fettle front

MrsMcJnr · 18/09/2007 15:38

I promise to keep up with this thread more, I think it is a really important one. I love the graduate thread and I love the fact that we are all at different stages and keep up but I miss you ladies so much and desperately want you there with us as I know you want to be too ? hopefully, sometime soon. This thread keeps us in touch though

Rah ? have you read the Infertility Cure? Can?t remember who wrote it. It?s all about Chinese remedies and I thought it was really interesting. There?s an amazing lengthy questionnaire in it. Torres has my copy at the mo (and she was using it when she got a BFP by the way) but I am sure she?d mail it on to you if you are interested sounds great that you are being proactive and you just never know do you! I was about to start seeing a herbalist and have acupuncture when I got my BFP ? that was next! Sorry to hear you are having house stress ? what?s the latest?

Hey Ready sorry to hear you are stressed hon. How are things with you? Any changes? The local church are thinking of buying our house as a new manse! We?ve had a few visits but the decision makers are coming on Sat so we?ll see what happens, there is also another couple interested so maybe, maybe, maybe we might get a sale soon!

Hello Rainbowdays how are things hon?

All fine here on the Beanie front, our 20 week scan went well and all seemed to be as it should be sex is still a surprise as we wanted but something tells me Beanie?s blue. We are seeing the MW tomorrow, just to listen to the heartbeat for peace of mind really. Then next week we have 24 week growth scan and obstetric appointment and hopefully we?ll be off to Spain the next day. I?ve now also got my dates for my 28 and 32 week scans so in one way time seems to be going very quickly, too quickly as I feel I still have so much to read and learn and do and more importantly I need to start feeling more joy than fear but on the other hand the time is going slowly and I just can?t wait to have a healthy baby in my arms, especially on the scary days. Beanie moves about and kicks now and DH can feel it too so that is lovely reassurance. I?m bump rubbing for you all xx

RahRah1 · 18/09/2007 19:17

OMG I can't believe Fettle is having her baby today. How comes? Was she induced? How many weeks is she now? ARRRR a mini fettle. how exciting.

Thanks Rainbow for the message (on the other side..lol)

MrsMcJnr - so glad everything is going so well. Can't believe you guys are all so far along. By the time me and Ready get our BFP you lot would of delivered

Thanks for the heads up on the Infertility Cure, I will look it up. How do I get in touch with Torres? Do you know what thread she is on?

Hope everyone else is OK.... Do we all get cigars when mini Fettle gets here?
