Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

Hi all, mind if I join, in 7+1, am also on another thread but we're spread out so it'll be nice to share the experience with ladies of similar due dates.
I'm due 13th Feb. Have already been for an early scan due to issues, and going for another paid on next Saturday.
Has everyone already been telling people? We've not yet told our parents so I'm looking forward to that next weekend.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 28/06/2019 16:52

Thanks @Bettythecat. That’s reassuring to hear someone else around the same point as me has no symptoms & has had a positive scan!

bessie84 · 28/06/2019 17:34

So glad everything was OK @bessie84.

Good luck to others having early scans. Just got out of mine, unbelievably relieved to see a heartbeat and measuring 7w6 (slightly ahead of where I was expecting). Such a relief.

InOmniaParatus13 · 29/06/2019 11:03

Congrats Bessie lovely pics!

My nausea has now turned into being sick 🤢🤢🤢

Got an hour journey to my scan on Monday, I know this sickness will be worth it when I get to see my jellybean again!

Hopex92 · 29/06/2019 13:10

Hi all! Congrats to everyone who just recently joined!!

To those sort of 8 weeks and on.. Anyone else finding symptoms fading? My neauses stopped last 2 days.. I'm 8+5. It worries me but I've heard it can calm down from 8 weeks. I mean smells and things will make me gag still but no more morning sickness.. Still getting cramps and twinges tho. They've increased last 2 days.

I'm 27. First baby. Have Pcos. Tried for 2 years. So I'm worrying about everything.

Charm23 · 29/06/2019 19:02

@Hopex92 I'm 9+1 and my symptoms definitely come and go. One day I'll feel nauseous, the next I'll be ravenous! Found nausea was worst between 6-8 weeks. This is my first after a mc back in December.

TwistofFate · 29/06/2019 19:08

@Hopex92 I'm 8+4 and this is my first pregnancy too. I tend to have 1 or 2 days with tiredness, sore boobs and nausea (dry heaving and feeling queasy since 6 weeks but I've only been sick twice), then a day or two with very reduced symptoms. It worried me at first but I'm getting used to it now, I think it just depends on how your body adjusts to the hormones.

We had our 8 week scan yesterday and it was such a relief to see the heartbeat flickering away and little one measuring at right size.

Allhallowseve · 30/06/2019 06:37

I did another test this morning last time I did one was the evening af was due. I got 1-2 weeks then . I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and got 3+ this morning and the internet cheapy came up while still in the wee! I do feel a little relieved seeing this.
I was really bloated yesterday I actually looked about 20 weeks wasn’t a good look in the heat. My heart was also pounding - like us had too much coffee but I hadn’t - has anyone else had this ?

Allhallowseve · 30/06/2019 06:38

I’d had too much coffee that should say.

Pretendbookworm · 30/06/2019 06:47

Allhallowseve - yes I have. I think occasional palpitations are normal whether you’re pregnant or not, especially if you’re feeling anxious - also the heat can bring them on and when pregnant we feel hotter and also have more fluids for our heart to pump around. I wouldn’t worry if it was only the once.

Pretendbookworm · 30/06/2019 06:50

Hello everyone joining in! I’m about 7-8 weeks pregnant roughly, can’t remember the date of my last period so until I go for a scan I’m not sure when my due date will be but it’s roughly the middle of Feb. This will be my 2nd baby. We weren’t really trying for a baby so it was a surprise but a welcome one.

In the middle of the worst part of the morning sickness for me. Supposed to be going away on Monday but don’t feel like it at all!

Dosti2020 · 30/06/2019 07:40

@hannibanan1 just got a BFP!!! Due March 2020 🙃🙂😀😃 first time mum to be looking forward to this amazing journey.

Test is faint but I can definitely see two lines!

I’m 11dpo today, which make me 4 weeks pregnant on those online due date calculators 😁😉

JellyBaby666 · 30/06/2019 08:06

Welcome to those who’ve recently found out! Gosh it’s warm isn’t it 😂

Lovely photos @bessie84 ❤️ Makes me so excited for our scan in a few weeks!

JellyBaby666 · 30/06/2019 08:07

Whoops posted too soon - how is everyone? X

Dreams2020 · 30/06/2019 08:29

Anyone able to help, wanted to post pics of test but I can not seem to find a way to do this

InOmniaParatus13 · 30/06/2019 09:52

Feeling better today after a horrendous day of feeling and being sick yesterday! I had some more spotting yesterday, I’m hoping it was the being sick that caused it!
Have my private scan tomorrow at 1.30pm, so hoping and praying I’ll see a happy, healthy jellybean!
Don’t feel sick at the moment, so going to go to the shop whilst I feel able to!

InOmniaParatus13 · 30/06/2019 10:05

Haha spoke too soon, nausea is here, yay lol!
Today’s cravings are Rice Krispies and those tuc cracker things with the cheese in the middle, hoping I can find some! The gherkin craving has eased off for now 😂

JellyBaby666 · 30/06/2019 11:23

Those TUC crackers are why I donate blood as they have them in my local blood bank! Hope you find what you’re craving @InOmnia

JellyBaby666 · 30/06/2019 11:27

@Dreams2020 If you’re on your mobile there is a paper clip below the text box you can click it and attach a photo there

Dreams2020 · 30/06/2019 11:31

I don’t have anything showing up, I don’t think I’m able to add just yet, only joined today.

InOmniaParatus13 · 30/06/2019 12:25

@JellyBaby666 it took me an hour but I found them! They are soooo good! 😍

hazandduck · 30/06/2019 12:30

Just got home from our scan, measuring exactly to my estimated dates from my last period, 8 weeks today, due 9th of Feb. I couldn’t believe it I was shaking and crying before and convincing myself it wouldn’t be ok! Such relief after I felt weak lol.

Countrygirl90 · 30/06/2019 13:25

Hey everyone,

Joining the party a little late but I’ve been following this thread for a little while.

I got my BFP on 10th June but this is my first pregnancy after I miscarried last month so I’ve not felt I could post before as trying not to get too excited so I’m mentally prepared if it goes wrong. Supposedly due 21st Feb.

I have had really strong symptoms the last week or so though so feeling a little more reassured. I’m so nauseous at the moment I seem to alternate between feeling very sick and feeling really hungry. I’m currently out of the country for work and trying to hide that I’m pregnant. I haven’t yet planned my excuse for not drinking, maybe antibiotics? I normally wear very tight clothes as I’m petite so I’ve already purchased some maternity jeans as I was so bloated for the last few weeks my normal jeans were so uncomfortable so trying to hide that with long tops etc. I’m sharing a room with a colleague at our next destination - hopefully she doesn’t twig. 🤞

Wishing everyone healthy and happy pregnancies. 😊
