BFP - Anyone else due February 2020?

Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

Booked a private scan for tomorrow and all my symptoms have vanished. Dreading it.

Hope all goes ok @ronniemipperton, I feel a bit like that. I was having strong symptoms but they’ve pretty much gone :( I have a scan on Sunday.

Oh the poor man having a heart attack. I hope he is ok!!

I just did a count, I have 7 more pay days until I will be on maternity leave. How much should I be putting away each month, any ladies with babies, how much did all the essentials cost you in the run up to baby No. 1. I have a huge family and this will be first of the next generation so I know my aunties, uncles etc will prob give presents (we are a very close family and they have been waiting for this!! 🤣🤣) But I still think I will need about €10k ish?? I also have inheritance coming in in the next few months which will be €9 or €10k which we will put towards a new car.

@Marleym28 I am a snob with drinks too, I will know if someone gives me Pepsi max over diet coke or fanta orange/lemon over club! I have the ones I like and that's it!! lol

Best of luck with the scans @hazandduck and @ronniemipperton others on here have said that they lost all symptoms and the bean is still perfect and they heard a heart beat.

Nausea hasn’t been too bad today thankfully! The midwife rang and my booking appointment is 18th July which feels like ages away! She said to try and ease the nausea eat little and often 😊

I've also had a bit of a loss of symptoms the last week or so (am currently 7+5), having previously felt really sick and tired. Still don't feel great but much better than I did! I seem to remember this happening with DS though, and all was totally fine at the 12wk scan so trying not to worry. Reassuring to hear that others have experienced the same - I think symptoms do come and go a bit, not necessarily an indicator that something more serious is going on...

I’m 7 weeks tomorrow, due 14th Feb. Getting symptoms then they disappear, had some cramping too. So scared of a missed miscarriage so I’ve got a private scan on Sunday. Good luck ladies - this is my first baby and so scary!!!

TMI but one of my boobs has been leaking all day 😂 would be the day I’m wearing a white blouse and bra 😂😂
Nausea has been on and off today, tiredness is horrendous at the moment 😴

@inomniaparatus13 - how far along are you? To be barely 2 months pregnant and have leaky breasts could be cause for concern? I’ve heard it’s only possible from 2nd trimester ?

@Marleym28 during your booking appointment you'll go through all medical issues for you, partner and a bit of family background. Talk about what you can/ can't eat etc if you want to discuss it. Answer any questions you have and check weight, height, urine sample, blood test and carbon monoxide check. You also begin to talk about birth choices etc. It takes a while but it's a nice appointment and of course you get to meet your midwife!

@MsMercer - In theory 7+2 but dating scan on Monday only put me at 6 weeks, we will see what my early scan this coming Monday says. Because I had a stillbirth a few months ago and a MMC last year, the dr said it’s completely normal for my boob to be leaking as my milk won’t have dried up completely from the stillbirth. They said if it was my first actual pregnancy then they would be more worried.

Thank you @hazandduck for your kind words ☺️ This pregnancy wasn’t planned, I was on contraception and we used condoms so I can’t help but think this wee baby is heaven sent and meant to be here ☺️ I’m so anxious that everything is going to fall apart again, but somehow I have to try and have faith that everything will be okay! I’m very lucky to be pregnant and that’s what I’m focusing on right now, there’s people who are desperate to get pregnant and can’t, so I feel very humble and lucky xx

Hello again, it's been a little while but lovely to see the good news and scans.
I'm sorry to hear that things haven't gone well for others - I hope you're all looking after yourselves and have lots of support.
It's been a very up and down few weeks since I found out. I went for what seemed like a very early booking appointment and have ended up seeing a Consultant weekly since, hopefully it's just whitecoat hypertension but a few investigations over the next couple of weeks to rule anything else out. Also had an early scan at epau today after some spotting and got to see a heartbeat, which was so lovely. Measuring 6+1 from lmp of 7+3 but they weren't concerned and the picture wasn't the best. Fingers crossed!

I got my BFP this month. Due in Feb 2020, I'm so glad there's this group, sometimes it can be so lonely in this generation. First baby and very much planned🤗

@Gingerbreadlady1 I've got no symptoms either. I'm 8 + 1. Even more worrying for me is that I did have some mild ones like burping and headaches but they have gone now! I had a scan at 7 weeks and all was fine but it's still so hard not to worry! I know not everyone has symptoms though so try not to worry too much 💜

6 weeks tomorrow and I have woken up to the first signs of nausea.

From a previous pregnancy (didn't go ahead) it built up horrendously, so I'm hoping I don't go down the same route. Luckily in my current job I have the flexibility to WFH if I'm feeling particularly rough and don't want to show my face!
