Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

@L00byl0u us women don't get it easy to we! Hoping the pains are all normal. Doctor explained if there on and off it should be OK. He said if it was something bad it would go on constant over day and get worse. Mine goes bad then light and stops and starts etc so he thinks that's OK. He has referred me to early pregnancy clinic so In 2 weeks I should get an early scan! I think il calm down once I get that if all goes well 😊. He did say I can go to emerency anytime I need to but trying to avoid that! I've just such bad anniexty so I need to calm down I think.

L00byL0u · 07/06/2019 22:03

@Hopex92 fingers crossed it calms down for you. Peppermint tea can also help with tummy issues.

I might pay for an early scan to ease my mind as I don't think my GP will offer one.

Congratulation everyone. I am due Jan 23rd. Excited but worried. I'm old mum first time and having morning sickness morning to evening but it's so worth it.

PetaO · 08/06/2019 08:30

Hello! Smile
Can I join you?
I'm 5 weeks 4 days with my 2nd. My eldest is 7 so it's going to be a bit of a shock going back to the newborn stage, but we're very excited!°

lyndz887 · 08/06/2019 09:42

Keep waking up with a really dry mouth, it's horrible! AF due today and no sign of it so seems a bit more real now even though I've had positives since 11dpo

muddypuddlejumping · 08/06/2019 09:56

@tisonlymeagain those levels seem really high thankfully. Really hoping all is fine for you. I bled a lot with my first pregnancy so totally get how scary it is.

@L00byL0u I've been having little cramps especially when I'm constipated or have wind. Def seem more able to rationalise these second time around. I had fanny daggers yesterday 😂 forgot about those!!

I'm now already beginning to show! It's crazy how quick it's come up this time around. Easily concealed with work clothes still though thankfully!

I'm hating this stage though where you just don't know for sure that everything is okay. I'd love an early scan but it's too expensive privately so I'll keep having to convince myself that all is fine.

Welcome and congratulations to all the new joiners!

tisonlymeagain · 08/06/2019 10:24

Thanks @muddypuddlejumping no more bleeding but a slight tinge this morning when I wipe. It's browner though so I'm hoping it's just leftover. It's not what I would call spotting.

Fluffyunicorn98 · 08/06/2019 11:24

Sorry to jump in, ive seen this thread and just wanted to add that i bled from 5weeks to 9weeks and it turned out the first lot was implantation and the second was a hematoma, not all bleeding is bad! Wishing you all a happy 9 months!

bessie84 · 08/06/2019 11:48

Waves to everyone xx

Littlegoth · 08/06/2019 14:37

@Bettythecat thanks for kind words. Sadly looks like I am having a third miscarriage. I’m booked for a follow up and I’ve opted for medical management at the same time if it is confirmed (my body likes to hang on for as long as possible). Silver lining I’m being referred to the recurrent miscarriage unit for tests and I’m optimistic I’ll be back on a due thread soon.

Wishing you ladies all the best and that you all have healthy pregnancies x

happylass · 08/06/2019 16:21

Hi all. Would you mind if I join you? I got a BFP on Thursday. I had IVF at the end of May so today I’d be the equivalent of 15dpo. Apparently due date would be Feb 14th which is my birthday! Completely paranoid that testing/joining this thread so early will jinx things. Sad

happylass · 08/06/2019 16:28

I’m so very sorry I posted at the end of another page without seeing your post. I’m so very sorry to hear your news. Wishing you all the best Flowers

Newbie21 · 08/06/2019 16:35

So sorry @Littlegoth I hope you are surrounded by the support you need right now.

bessie84 · 08/06/2019 16:48

Littlegoth 😭😭 sending you tonnes of love x

ronniemipperton · 08/06/2019 18:26

So sorry @littlegoth. I hope you’ve got good people looking after you x

coconutcurls · 08/06/2019 18:46

Hello all, I'm tentatively joining this thread. Had my BFP this morning and according to an online due date calculator, I'll be due on 10th February 😊

bessie84 · 08/06/2019 19:01

Hello happylass and coconutcurls. Congratulations to you both.

@happylass- My youngest dd is and ivf baby. Theres pregnancy hormones, then theres ivf pregnancy hormones 🤣😉 such a rollercoaster isnt it. (This pregnancy of ours now isnt an ivf one, just a massive shock, we tried many years for dd, did various different fertility stuff n ended up having IVF to get her. So this homemade pregnancy is a bit of a shock)

Charm23 · 08/06/2019 19:20

Congratulations to the newcomers :)

@hakunamatata @Littlegoth So sorry, thinking of you both x

tisonlymeagain · 08/06/2019 20:00

Sorry to hear your news @littlegoth

Congratulations to the newcomers, exciting times!

My bleeding seems to have stopped. I've done a test today and it's still blazing. Boobs still hurt. Just waiting for scan on Monday now. Hoping it's good news.

A few people have mentioned the FB group - as a reminder if anyone wants to be added (it's a 'secret' group) inbox me the email address linked to your FB account, or your FB name and tell me what's on your profile pic and I'll add you as a friend, add you to the group and then unfriend.

Marleym28 · 08/06/2019 21:30

Is anyone else's tummy off their usual routine? Things have either slowed right down or it's back to back lol (sorry tmi)
I'm so bloated it's insane
Please tell me I'm not alone.

In other news the cramping has gone down

How's everyone else feeling?

I'm 4+5 (10feb)

Hopex92 · 08/06/2019 21:31

OK I've another weird and wonderful question.. Has any had random unexplained emotions? We went out for dinner and drinks there for a friends birthday, obviously I was driving. I felt like I wanted to cry all off dinner.. And cudnt engage in conversation as just felt so off and emotional. None of them know I'm pregnant so couldn't even say. Had to drive home after dinner leaving them all out there. Came home and uncontrollably cried my eyes out.. For no reason. Nothing happened to upset me. I've also really bad lower back pain and sharp pain in my breasts now I've stopped.. Like is this normal emotions or am I just losing it a bit 🙈. This is first this has happened..

Hopex92 · 08/06/2019 21:33

@Marleym28 yes I go days so badly constipated then suddenly all at once then back 2 another few days. The cramps come and go and can be sore, my cramps make me feel like I'm about to go.. But then nothing . I think I'm due around same date as you. I feel your pain! It's so strange isn't it!

L00byL0u · 08/06/2019 21:50

@Marleym28 yep I've had cramps mostly related to being constipated. I've been having lactulose and prune juice which is helping and the cramps have improved over the last couple of days. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow.

hazandduck · 08/06/2019 22:31

@Hopex92 I had that exact thing today. I used to be such an emotional person and then when I had DD 18 months ago I just kind of levelled and never get emotional any more really, it’s weird. You get so used to always having a bright front on for your kids all the time it becomes who you actually are I guess.
I was luckily just home alone today (not out for dinner) and just thinking about how I never appreciated my mum growing up and suddenly I was crying buckets! (My mum is still alive btw!)
I feel like I’m going to come on my period. Really got angry with DH today before singing out of tune over the Greatest showman soundtrack 😂 like lost my shit with him ha. So I don’t know if this one will stick, or if I will come on soon. I’m 5 weeks tomorrow according to LMP.

I’m sorry for the losses already on this thread :(

Kb2019 · 09/06/2019 07:11
