Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

bessie84 · 07/06/2019 09:50

tisonlymeagain July will be here before we know it - just while we're waiting, it takes forever! id soooo find out at 11 weeks (impatient)

Im on a rollercoaster, 1 day i feel crap n feel positive, today, feel nothing n feel negative. you know how it is.

waves to everyone - hope everyones doing ok.

Bettythecat · 07/06/2019 10:08

@hakunamutata how utterly heartbreaking, I'm so so sorry. Take all the time you need- I don't know if you're going to work today or not but I would go straight home to the sofa if I were you and stay there.

@bessie84 I know what you mean. I woke up feeling so anxious this morning. I really want some symptoms to try to put my mind at ease- I'm desperate to start throwing up!! I've just listened to some positive pregnancy affirmations on YouTube though and they made me feel a bit calmer!

I've got my doctors appointment at 11 today to get me on the system.

tisonlymeagain · 07/06/2019 10:08

I'm not sure what to do @bessie84, I never found out with my first two and I liked the surprise. DP also has two children and he found out both times.

Doris19 · 07/06/2019 11:17

@hakunamutata oh my gosh, I'm so sorry to see your post. I've been through this twice and am certainly feeling concerned the same will happen this time. It's an absolute killer. Sending hugs and hope you can have a cosy weekend looking after yourself. Xx

Doris19 · 07/06/2019 11:18

@tisonlymeagain I didn't know the harmony test could tell you if it's a girl/boy! Is that a standard thing??

tisonlymeagain · 07/06/2019 11:20

It's part of the blood test @Doris19 - you can ask not to know though!

lyndz887 · 07/06/2019 11:46

I'm only 4 weeks but I've noticed my bowel movements have changed, they are much looser than usual. I'm not complaining though as I normally struggle to go Blush

tisonlymeagain · 07/06/2019 12:03

Mine have gone the other way @lyndz887!

tisonlymeagain · 07/06/2019 14:36

On my way to hospital as just had sex and afterwards I was bleeding, quite a lot of bright red blood. I don't want to go as can't see the point but DP insists. Got a very bad feeling. I'm only 5+1 so pretty sure nothing would show on a scan yet.

Bettythecat · 07/06/2019 15:03

@tisonlymeagain oh no- I hope it goes ok. It could just be you've caught the edge of the cervix whilst having sex or something. Let us know how it goes. Sending lots of love.

bessie84 · 07/06/2019 17:02

Hope your ok tisonlymeagain. X

Marleym28 · 07/06/2019 17:09

@tisonlymeagain keep us posted. Fingers crossed it's just something minor. Good luck xx

tisonlymeagain · 07/06/2019 17:12

Just out, thank you all.

As I am only 5+2 the sonographer won't see me, but they've done blood tests to check the progesterone and HCG and then the sister is going to call me to make a plan. If they are looking good she'll book me in for a scan next week when I am 6 weeks. She also gave me a pregnancy test to do next week when she tells me too. She did say it's possible it could be something on my cervix. For now the bleeding has completely stopped, not a hint. So I guess it's just a waiting game now.

Marleym28 · 07/06/2019 17:47

@tisonlymeagain fingers crossed it was just a one off nik!

The whole DTD thing was crossing my mind. We went to the other night and checked on good old google, yep says it's safe but it just freaked me out a bit. I know it's fine but in my head I was really worrying so we ended up stopping.

Feel bad for my parter though, for months it's been DTD, SMEP etc then to almost nothing... :/

Newbie21 · 07/06/2019 17:58

@tisonlymeagain I hope the tests go well. Fingers crossed for you. Let us know how you are getting on. Has the bleeding all stopped?

bessie84 · 07/06/2019 18:23

Tisonlymeagain - i had same with youngest dd. 1 time after sex , bled tonnes. Freaked puf massively. She was an ivf baby and i was a wreck. I was about 5-6 weeks, they let me have a scan a few days later n baby was ok n i had a bruise, wasnt allowed to dtd until it went or til after 12 weeks. After that one time of bleeding, it stopped completely...until i sneezed or lifted anything heavy. It soon stopped after a few days and all was well bug if scared shit out of me x

tisonlymeagain · 07/06/2019 20:05

Thanks @bessie84 that's reassuring.

EPU just called - didn’t have progesterone results back but HCG is around 14,500 thousand (seems high to me?) and on that basis she has booked me in for a scan on Monday afternoon as she said at that level they will be able to see something.

No more bleeding so trying to remain positive.

Newbie21 · 07/06/2019 20:26

@tisonlymeagain that sounds really positive. Let us know how you get on.

Kinsella82 · 07/06/2019 20:32

Hi ladies just got bfp a couple of days ago! Still hasn't sunk in. TTC baby number 3 since Christmas so I'm over the moon!

cliare · 07/06/2019 21:12

Hi all, can I join in? Edd Feb 11th. Had a miscarriage almost a year ago so cautious but trying to be chilled and remember theres not much I can do about anything! I have a DS who is nearly 3. I feel I spent the whole of my first preg counting down the days so going to try and enjoy this one. Easier said than done. Hopefully it'll stick!

All the best everyone.

Claire

Hopex92 · 07/06/2019 21:13

OK so for last couple weeks the main cramp I'm getting is weird. I'm sorry in advanced as I'm sure it's to much info but I'd really like to no if anyone else getting this.
Basically I get cramps as if I'm about to have diharea.. Like as if I need to urgently make it to toliet. However I don't actually poop because I'm always constipated. (sorry again). Anyone else anything like this? I've known for 2 weeks now that I'm Pregnant and get these cramps most days. Doctor didn't have much to say when I mentioned it. Some groin pain tonight to.

L00byL0u · 07/06/2019 21:27

@Hopex92 I'm the same. I'm 6 weeks on Sunday and found out at week 3+5. I've had cramps the whole time, sometimes so bad in rocking in the floor, often easing when passing gas or opening bowels.
I spoke to my GP who thinks it is serve constipation, told me to take lactulose and I've also been drinking prune juice. This has helped, but this week I've also been getting pain in my thigh below my groin, and last couple of days my tummy has been bubbling.
I think the groin pain is down to uterus stretching from what I have read and the bubbling down to wind and constipation.
It's uncomfortable and sometimes I get tearful as I've been uncomfortable most days but it's probably only going to worse.

Hopex92 · 07/06/2019 21:33

@l00byl0u sounds like we are getting very similar symptoms!! It's a horrible sensation. I did go to the toliet earlier so was surprised to get the pain so soon after, that horrible sensation of needing to go! I go every 2 or 3 days now. So weird for me as I've ibs and used to go everyday sometimes 2 or 3 times a day lol!
Think Im so worried as its took 2 years for this to happen, my PCOS made it harder. However we have managed to do it naturally, I lost 50lbs and finally started ovulating. And I worry my pcos will make me higher risk

L00byL0u · 07/06/2019 21:40

@Hopex92 I've got IBS too but my IBS usually causes me to be constipated and have abdo pain with it so for me it's very similar to that but since being pregnant it's been worse and I can't take my IBS meds

Sometimes if I can't go straight away or being lazy and don't want to get of bed in the night the pain increases i then open my bowels and the pain will be worse for a bit before easing.

It's horrible feeling but I'm glad I'm not the only one as I've had some weird pains and it's been dealing me out. It's my first pregnancy and it's happened quickly so I fed lucky but I can't help but worry. I'm also a nurse in ED and see lots of pregnant women which doesn't help makes me worry more tbh. Then I try to remember there are many happy endings that I don't see.

I don't know much about PCOS but I can imaging it is scary especially when it's taken a while. If you are concerned speak to your GP again and insist for more info or investigations if your really worried. If your pushy they will often do more to get some peace!
