Sorry for the late reply everyone. I finally went in to be induced and it didn't go to plan unfortunately due to babies heart rate being hard to monitor. They decided an emergency c section was best for baby and he arrived Thursday afternoon weighing 9lbs 3oz.

All happy and healthy and worth the wait.

Baby RC borm this morning! Beast at 9lb 12oz. Very quick in pool! Lost a lot of blood so a night on ward. Good luck to everyone x

Bit niggly all day, lots of tightenings , too uncomfortable for BH but haven’t progressed to anything more. Irregular and not getting more intense. Have felt the need to clean and get stuff in order today so hoping it’s a sign things are moving in the right direction

Me too @Napssavelives. I’m 40 + 9 days and due to be induced on weds. Feel like the clock is ticking and my home birth is not going to happen. Have pretty much tried everything now but baby back to back and I know that delays the start of labour.

I’ve booked myself a massage and some reflexology tomorrow morning. Either I go into labour and lose £80 or I have something to look forward to. Kids are at their dads today and I can’t svsn be bothered to get out of bed. Need to go food shopping for the week as kids have nothing for packed lunches, nothing in for dinners but I can’t be bothered to move. I’m done, I’m so fed up my mood has crashed and this year is shit :( i feel like I can’t even be excited about meeting my baby as i know it’s going to be so difficult. I want to give birth so I’m not pregnant and in pain/exhausted and have more energy for my older boys but I’m struggling to find connection with the one inside me right now :(

Oh @Napssavelives I really feel for you. Can you just have a duvet day and go shopping later or pop to a corner shop for essentials. I’ve spent a lot of time crying these last few days and don’t feel that excited about my baby either as I’ve been too busy stressing about other stuff.

I found reflexology really helped lift my mood last week. I was utterly miserable thurs morning then felt like I was floating afterwards. I couldn’t even have a proper conversation with my friend who I bumped into. It helped me connect with the baby too. Didn’t induce labour but it was worth the money for the mood boost. I really hope it does the same for you.

I dragged myself out powered by biscuits and coffee with the promise to myself that once in home I can go back to bed. I’ll only feel guilty if we have no food in, hoping to not bump into anyone I know as I can’t face people/conversation.
