Doesn’t sound like you’ll be pregnant much longer ! Contractions been on an off all day pains increased and think I lost some of my plug and feeling sick,so just waiting really for more intense ones , I’ve read pre labour can take a while 😞

Had my pre op today ready for tomorrow, I'm feeling sooo anxious now, I know i won't sleep tonight 😢 I can't help but worry something will go wrong, I never thought I'd be feeling like this but honestly I feel so silly like this is too good to be true. I just want her here safely now, is it normal to be this anxious about the transition from tummy to real life!
Been keeping busy and bought all of her last bits today
Any baby news here? Or are we all still anxiously waiting ❤️

Hi @lelrx was I correct in reading that you have an elcs booked for tomorrow? So do I! I think it's completely normal to feel anxious, I've been feeling the same today, trying to keep busy so I'm not overthinking but I know I won't be able to sleep tonight! And I'll probably be a nervous wreck in the morning! I'm debating what to eat tonight as my last meal before the cs, after that I'm not allowed to eat anything from 2am, I think that's going to be the hardest part for me because hunger makes me feel sick :(

I know i keep saying to my husband and mom what are we going to have for dinner I might wake up just before my time is up to have a small snack too because I get really light headed and shaky when I haven't eaten and I could be waiting all day for my turn! My anxiety is going to be through the roof aswell especially if I'm last on the list watching everyone else go in! I just want her here now! Glad I'm not on my own, good luck!! Xx

Good luck to those meeting their little ones tomorrow ❣ I have been feeling so so tired past two days. Induction this Sunday due to big baby but willing him to come early...wishing everyone safe and ‘comfortable’ next few days/weeks...also feeling anxious (although number 3!) but trust we can do it!!!

I’m still getting lots of pains and feel pretty grumpy. Only 38 +4 but really hoping this baby will arrive before due date. Not sure how likely it is as my dd was 2 weeks late but I feel quite different this time. Going to see if I can get a sweep tomorrow.

So far I’ve been eating dates, having acupuncture and I’m about to inflate a birthing ball. I told myself that I was going to be totally chilled about being overdue this time too.

Oooh @livingonapear how did you feel the acupuncture went? Really wanted to get an appointment and was too late. Am also June 7-did hypnobirthing with first two and was very calm and in control and all very quick-feel bit different this time since dr said ‘oh this ones big so will probably be longer...’ I heard the point just above your ankle can bring things on...?

@moonriver83 i have had 3 sessions of acupuncture and 4th today. It is very relaxing and really helped with my back pain but no baby yet... maybe after today?! Acupuncturist was confident I would have a bank holiday baby but it appears not!

And yes I am awalke at 4am. Gotta love pregnancy insomnia.

I’m 39 weeks today and officially the size of a whale. Ive got a sweep booked in so hopefully it might get the ball rolling.

I’ve also been awake since 4... trying to listen to meditation app and trying to stay calm as I accept I’m going to have to face Sunday induction as def don’t feel anything happening yet! Hi @Moonriver83 ! That's three of us on the 7th then!

No movement for me yesterday. Couple of cramps that were a bit stronger than BH's but not a lot else!

DTD this morning to see if I can get things going! Aching back but that's about it!

I swear this just goes on and on 😂

@LivingOnAPear The acupuncture sounds interesting! Apparently there are loads of acupressure points but I'm not too sure how effective anything I can do from home would be.

What's the betting this is the first time I hit a due date 🙈

My induction is tomorrow! I’ve just been checking over and I don’t need the gel as baby’s head’s so low already. They’re actually talking about it starting sooner! I’m 38+6 with my first and am in a state of terrified excitement! Good luck everyone.

Had a baby girl today around 3pm ish via elcs, completely in love! She's identical to what my eldest looked like when she was born! I'm just trying to get breast feeding established. How's everyone else?

@Rc000 hope the acupuncture works for you. I had a couple of inductions with my daughter but they didn’t work. I think because she was in a bad position.

@moonriver83 fingers crossed this baby makes an appearance soon. I guess they will arrive fast as it’s your 3rd and the others did. I’ve heard from lots of people that bigger babies aren’t at all harder to birth. That pressure point you talked about definitely causes contractions as I tried it with my dd.

@madeincornwallx3 sounds like you have same symptoms as me. Mine aren’t progressing tho. I was quite hopeful today when I went to midwife appt but she said baby is now back to back and not remotely engaged. This happened with my dd who was 16 days late after a 2 day stop start labour. So feeling fed up at the thought of history repeating. Also midwife won’t do a sweep as baby not engaged.

Right off to google spinning babies and bounce on a birthing ball. Joy.

Yes I can’t decide whether I should be putting feet up and just relaxing or walking about/tidying up to get things going. I really do think they come when they’re ready...! Hope the induction goes well for you @esindi ...looks like some June babies may become last minute May babies :)

Thank you @moonriver83 where I am (originally from the UK though) it’s just past 6 am so should be getting started in the next hour apparently. Fingers crossed for more healthy babies to come soon.
