Hey guys, started a new thread as it was getting close to the end of the last one!

@TrashKitten10 we had to go back for a second scan too, he was so wiggly the scan tech couldn’t get all the pics she needed. I wasn’t worried as she said everything looked great so it was nice to get another chance to see the baby

@Fivebyfive2 My DH has got used to me bursting into tears for absolutely no reason, he jokes that it’s my hormones leaking out. Luckily it hasn’t happened at work yet, I work with all men and they’d be terrified if I started crying 😂

@mrsof20118 oh no that’s so frustrating! Terrible timing too. Have you found any potential places to view yet?

@EltzBee I’ve tried to find a nearly new sale to go to but my area seems to be a bit of a dead spot, can’t find anything!

@BostonFern I haven’t had it myself but I’ve heard that bleeding after sex is very common in pregnancy, your cervix gets irritated easily and you’ve got a lot of extra blood flow down there at the moment, so I don’t think it’s anything to worry about

@stormtrooperjulian, thanks hun! I also gave dh some money earlier so he could get our tram tickets... Then 10 mins later had a panic because I thought I'd 'lost' the 5 euro bill we needed for the tram 🤦‍♀️

Ethan James Bell 5lb 9oz. Born 8:06pm today. 2cm to birth in 3 hours. 2nd degree tear but over the moon. He's in neonatal at the moment due to the heart but we will see how he gets on 💙 in love.

Congrats @delilah7. Hoping all good in neonatal he will be well looked after. Also wishing you a speedy recovery after that fast birth x

@BabySquid yeah, I had three separate bleeds during my first 12 weeks... the cervix is very easily irritated! DH is so careful when we DTD at the moment - he wants to make sure the baby's ok! 😂 I would call your EPU if you're at all concerned. My team did so well at reassuring me! Xx

@Delilah7 Ethan is just adorable! I'm sorry to hear about your tear, but that'll heal! I can imagine the love you're feeling for Ethan right now outweighs the pain 😍 I'm so proud if you! You totally smashed it xxx

@Fivebyfive2 Hehe, hope they get all their mischief out of the way now but as we waited for them to curl into a normal position and instead they threw their head back wildly and kicked their legs I thought 'this is going to be the toddler years'. How is the holiday going? Personally I think a lack of croissants is reason enough to cry even without being pregnant! Poor DH 🙈 but yes, completely normal haha. My first pregnancy sob was when I made eye contact with a sad looking cow on my drive to work. Full on bawling. Thankfully DH didn't see that one.

@EltzBee Thank you! How is the nursery looking?

@BostonFern That's true, it is absolutely mesmerising watching them on screen. Maybe baby just liked being the star of the show so much they wanted to do it all again. Your scan is fab! Is that a private one? The 3D is incredible. How many weeks are you now?

@stormtrooperjulian Ahh not just us with an uncooperative baby then :) definitely going to be great to see them again.

@Delilah7 Wow he made a speedy exit! He's absolutely gorgeous, congratulations!

DH and I went in our first baby shopping trip yesterday. Checked out the bedside cots and bought a load of lovely outfits, so exciting! We had decided to hold off buying anything until the 20 week scan so it all suddenly seemed very real. Let the spending begin :)

@Delilah7 Ahhh he is absolutely beautiful. Well done you! I hope he’s getting excellent care at the hospital. My sister had a tear, she used something called ‘Spritz for bits’ that she swore by; hope you are all healed up soon lovely lady xx Congratulations!

@TrashKitten10 so exciting about the first shopping trip! I love those bedside cribs- even though they are expensive for only a short amount of use they seem like such a great idea so I definitely want one!! Where did you buy your outfits from?

@mrsof20118 that's so rubbish about your house purchase. I know how attached you become to a house when you are in the process of buying and how long winded the whole thing is 😫. Hopefully something will come along that you love even more.

@Trashkitten10, aaah a sad cow would probably make me cry too at the moment!! Also, very excited for you on the shopping front! I'm only 11 weeks, but I think dh and I might start looking and doing a list of the stuff we need soon after the scan next week... He likes the idea of spreading the costs out!

Holiday is going OK, but I'm definitely getting tired! Having a chill day today though, so hopefully that will set me up for the last few days!

@stormtrooperjulian Thanks, yes, also a huge reassurance after being so stressed with work recently. Had quite a few pieces of good news this week, and I feel I'm able to start to relax now.

@Fivebyfive2 thanks! We were told it was a boy when we got our NIPT test results at 10 weeks, but I've been a bit cautious about buying too much blue until we saw it with our own eyes. There was no mistaking it yesterday though!

@TrashKitten10 Thanks. Yes, it was a private one, we are very lucky and they always give us a little bit of a 3D scan too. We are amazed how much he has grown in the 4 weeks since our 13 week scan with the NHS. Estimated weight is currently 202g/7oz! Enjoy spending on baby, there's so many cute outfits out there too!

@Delilah7 oh my gosh he's so cute and so little 💙🥰 I'm over the moon for you that he's finally here and you get to have your long awaited baby in your arms. Wishing you both well xx

Well I've been awake since about 4/5 so today should be interesting, play a game of 'how long can I stay awake'!! I'm trying on my bridesmaids dress today, the wedding is in 7 weeks and I've not told the bride I'm pregnant yet, dreading that the dress won't fit when it gets closer! I'll be 13+3 then and knowing my luck I'll probs have a bump by then!! But I'm MOH so can't let her down 😭

@delilah7 he is beautiful, congratulations! I popped on to see if he was here yet! So happy for you, and hope you, baby and dad are all being looked after well! I had a completely manic 2 days with the deliveries then the party, got to bed about 1am last night after party starting at 1pm! I'm soooooo tired today, entertaining guests so will pop back on here later for catchups xxxxxxxxxx

@BabySquid enjoy trying on your dress. If it's any reassurance I probably looked more pregnant at 6 or 7 weeks than I did at 13 due to all the bloating!

@BabySquid I know the feeling- I went shopping for some holiday clothes yesterday and seem to have gone up at least one dress size and one bra cup size already!! Think I'm maybe relaxing a bit too much with my eating but I just can't bring myself to care as long as the baby is growing happily! Does your dress have any stretch in it?

@Fivebyfive2 I'm good thanks lovely. Boobs not too sore right now, was exhausted yesterday and a bit constipated but other than that feeling good. We've got another scan at 8+5 via the NHS so I'm hoping everything will still be going well then. How are you feeling? When is your next scan?

@babysquid I reckon you'll be fine at 13 weeks, I had a tiny bump but no bigger than a bit of a tub would look. Agree with @bostonfern, I was bigger earlier on with bloating! What's the dress like? Yes I've also heard bleeding is really common after sex due to the extra blood flow and sensitivity down there xx

@fivebyfive2 the crying is defo hormones, I cried loads early on lol!

We have had such a busy time, I'm now gonna go open the pram out of the box. Eeeek 😁

@bettythecat, next scan is our NHS dating scan on 1st July so not long to wait 🙂

@Fivebyfive2 thank you lovely. Defo sore from the 2nd degree tear but I'm ok! Managed with just gas and air! Contractions are worse than actually pushing! Xxxx
