Thanks everyone for sharing their feelings/experiences/plans for breastfeeding. It was really interesting to read through all the different approaches. As I said, it's not a topic I know much about so has definitely given me food for thought (excuse the pun)! If anyone's remotely interested in where I'm at: I think I'd definitely like to give breastfeeding a go, but I would be very open to learning more about mixed feeding down the line.
@Delilah7 all the best for today - you've got this and we're all rooting for you!
@Crossfitgirl Glad you enjoyed the Eden Project, it is the silver lining of a rainy day in Cornwall! 7 weeks is nothing at all...sorry if you've already posted but do you know which sex you're having?
@mrsof20118 great news the baby is in a good position! Do you know why they'll likely induce you at 38 weeks?
@stormtrooperjulian huge hugs, having been through two renovations you totally have my empathy. I can't imagine going through it pregnant. You're a superstar! How long do they reckon you've got left? Just think how fab it's going to look when it's all done.
@MrsEG re: exercise, I also have done nothing (beyond walking the dog) since I found out. Mostly out of tiredness mind. I think if you feel up to exercise you'd be fine to continue, but I totally get your reluctance. Maybe wait until after you've spoken with your consultant as she should be able to reassure?
Anyone up to anything fun this weekend? I've got a party tonight which I would usually be very excited for (open bar), but it's on until 1am and my current bedtime is about 8.30pm haha! Other than that I've got a bit more DIY to finish off and then I'll be relaxing watching the Lioness' on Sunday. C'mooon girls!
