Checking in and hope you ladies are all OK. Lots of catching up to do. I'm 33 weeks today but my bump is measuring a huge 39cm. Starting to feel so uncomfortable and even driving is getting difficult. Have been referred for a growth scan but it's not until 38 weeks so seems like forever.
There must be some babies due very soon?!

@mrsof20118 don't worry too much about that. I was measuring two weeks under everytime then shot up last week, when I had a growth scan he was below average!
I would say little mans due soon being 12th July but I'm being induced next Friday so even sooner 😍😍

@delilah7 are they inducing just to try get things started?

@mrsof20118 my lovers failing I think still. Somethings going on with me and they're not sure if it's effecting him. Waiting to hear today if it needs to be earlier than next Friday if it is it'll be a c section. If it's next Friday it'll be natural x x

@MrsR16 your scan pic is so cute and it's great that you're due sooner.

@Bettythecat I also can't wait till my early scan this weekend to make sure everything's ok.

So this morning I've woken up feeling so bloated and a bit icky... 6+1 today and I'm feeling like I have nothing to wear for work... how the heck did you ladies cope? I think it'll have to be leggings and a baggy T, not really office wear but right now idc!! Feeling like a fat moon face 🌝😭

@BabySquid I should get a call today. I doubt it will be earlier but it depends what my tests come back with. They're abit concerned I have HELLP syndrome but I don't know. They've diagnosed me with so much and then I go to another hospital and it's so different!
Defo get the leggings and stuff in early. That's when my sickness properly started and kicked in, I couldnt wear much else if I went out. If not it was PJS all day everyday. Xx

@Delilah7 god I wish I could wear my pjs to work hun!! That'd be amazing 😄 I think a jumper today it's bloody cold in West Yorkshire 🥶

@Fivebyfive2 completely missed your post about your dating scan yesterday! That'll fly by! We're so close together, I love it! Xx

@BabySquid thanks lovely 😊 I feel you with the bloatedness! I feel like a beached whale already, which is ridiculous - I've got the tiniest bump ever at the moment! But to me it feels huge! Xx

@mrsof20118 oh wow that's a big bump!! My midwife said last week that they give you 2cm either way, I'm amazed they are making you wait another 5 weeks for a growth scan?! That's crazy.

@BabySquid leggings are great in the early bit with all the bloating; I wore leggings with dresses over the top, the leggings were so much more comfy than trousers! The bloating is worst in the 1st trimester, it sort of goes down a bit as your bump comes in though if that makes sense!!

Essay Warning!!

So something happened at work today and I'm not sure how I feel about it. We're a small office, only 10 of us (including my sil) and one of those working from home, so 9 in the office. Everyone knows about my mc and we're mostly lovely about it. I only told my sil and my line manager, was waiting for 12 weeks to announce to the others... Almost made it!! Basically, 2 women just outright asked me, out of nowhere this afternoon!! I was totally caught off guard and have a really obvious face, so was a dead giveaway!! They then said they 'knew' I was, because I look so much bigger and had been discussing it for a while ?! I am a 8/10 usually and already have a bit of a tummy at 9 weeks, but didn't think it was that obvious! So, cats out the bag now! I know it's not a massive deal, they were probably just excited or whatever, but was just really looking forward to telling everyone on my terms. I suspected some of them had an inkling, but assumed because of the mc, they would just wait for me to say something?? Which tbf, most of them did, it was just these 2. Am I just being a bit of a hormonal diva?? Xx

@Fivebyfive2 I don't think you're being a diva at all! I would never dream of asking someone outright! You should have been able to tell people when you were ready and if that was at 18 weeks, then who cares?!? It's your baby, your news to tell when you're ready. I'm totally sympathising with hormones at the moment - I've had a crap day at work. Happened to be the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time and asked the wrong question! HR Manager took me into her office to give me a few minutes to calm down and sort my life out... 😕 I'm alright now, but i don't cry at work so that was a surprise! Xx

@MrsR16, totally sympathise!! May I suggest a giant bar of chocolate?? That's what I'm going for tonight! Apparently I'm already 'proper dome like' so may as well just go with it 🙄😂

@BabySquid I think my bloating made me more uncomfortable at about 8 weeks than I feel now at 16 weeks- leggings and loose tops were my go to at home, loose dresses at work.

I've had my whooping cough jab this evening, sporting an achey arm now but I think it had to be done (I actually had whooping cough about six years ago, I wouldn't wish it on anyone, it was awful, so I can't imagine what it would be like for a tiny baby). Had another day where I've felt nauseated, a close colleague reckons I'm having a surge of hormones this week!

@BostonFern nope. Meant to ring me today and nothing. Fucks me right off I have to chase and leave messages for people. This is my unborn babies health and my health too we are concerned about, it's nothing to just 'forget' about. I get they're busy but Jesus Christ.

Think I'm going to go shopping on sat for more leggings and some lose longish work tops. Makes life even harder not knowing if we're actually going to get a summer any time soon!! Yorkshire weather sucks! Get me to Oz like now!!

Also don't think you're being at all unreasonable being annoyed. We had a good idea at work when a colleague was pregnant but waited for her to tell us when she was ready, because that's the normal thing to do!
