@thumper59 your bump is too cute. I can't wait to take bump pics 🥰🤰🏼
@DayDreamer1707 I'm hoping my early scan will give me more of a date indication as I don't think I'm quite 5 weeks as I had 31/32 day periods, ovulating around day 18/19.
But my scan is internal so I'll find out next Saturday 😆

thumper59 · 05/06/2019 21:18

@DayDreamer1707 @BabySquid Thankyou ladies 🥰.

@DayDreamer1707 how quickly they grow/change really shocked me!! I'm glad you've had some sickness, in the nicest way possible! 😬

@BabySquid so so exciting!! Can't wait to see first scan pics. They're so amazing. X

Bettythecat · 05/06/2019 22:02

@thumper59 love the bump 😍😍. Definitely don't look tubby to me- that's a proper baby bump!

@DayDreamer1707 well done for staying positive lovely- we have all got everything crossed for you. Good news about the sickness- I'm hoping mine comes along soon 🥴🤭

TrashKitten10 · 06/06/2019 05:41

@Bettythecat Congrats! I didn't have any nausea at that point either and remember wishing myself sick too. I reconsidered my wishes somewhat when I had to pull over at a service station on my way to work a few weeks later crying and retching into a bag for life 😂

@DayDreamer1707 That's positive they could see the yolk sac. Hoping that your dates were just a little out and there's much more to see at your next scan

@MrsR16 What lovely news about your sister! It will be fab to have someone to share the journey with.

@Fivebyfive2 How exciting your scan is booked in, make sure to update us with a photo :)

@EltzBee Great pram! Love the colour.

@thumper59 You have a lovely neat bump :) I'm 18+0 today and feel this past week that my bump has really popped and I feel less conscious of just looking like I've eaten all the pies. Are you wearing much maternity stuff yet?

Bettythecat · 06/06/2019 08:55

@TrashKitten10 haha oh god bless you that sounds hideous!! I'm sure you're right and I'll be cursing myself for ever wishing symptoms on myself in two weeks time 🤦‍♀️

Did a CB didgital weeks indicator this morning and it said +3 which is their equivalent of 5+ weeks by NHS standards. Really pleased with that as I'm only 5 weeks today so taking it as a good sign that my HCG is good 😊

MrsR16 · 06/06/2019 09:02

@TrashKitten10 it's just amazing 😊 my sister and sister-in-law were pregnant at the same time so it's only fair I share my first time as well! 😂

@thumper59 that is an adorable bump 😍

@DayDreamer1707 you got this girl!! Good luck coping with the sickness hun... I never had any so genuinely can't imagine how awful (but amazing for you) it is! Xx

thumper59 · 06/06/2019 09:14

@Bettythecat Thankyou! A bit more to go and I can rest stuff on it.😂 So exciting getting 3+ on clear blue isn't it!!

@TrashKitten10 thankyou, I'm wearing a mix! I refuse to spend a lot of money on maternity so all the bits I've got have come from boohoo. The dress I had on there isn't maternity it's just normal and a 10- stretchy fabric tho! Looks a bit squished on the pic but its the unflattering way I am stood 🙄 I've got some size 10 normal wrap dresses from primark and I got a size 12 button up one last week, with them being flowy they've not looked odd and too big on like my arms. I only really wear dresses anyway I don't wear jeans so I've not struggled to much really- I do rate boohoo's maternity though!

@MrsR16 aw Thankyou 🥰 hope your well!

BabySquid · 06/06/2019 11:08

Hi guys, I'm getting a few cramps today (5 weeks yesterday) and feeling like this is how my MC started last time so obvs I'm overthinking things... did you all have cramps and twinges in the early days? How strong?

Fivebyfive2 · 06/06/2019 11:23

@babysquid, I had period type pains around 5 weeks and some CM so kept running to the loo to check I hadn't come on!! It's really common I think and usually eases off / swaps to more of a twinge or 'pulling' feeling after a couple of weeks. Xxx

mrsof20118 · 06/06/2019 11:50

@BabySquid I had cramps in the night for a few nights with this one. Felt like period pain x

BabySquid · 06/06/2019 11:53

@Fivebyfive2 & @mrsof20118 thank you. It's on and off so I'm trying not to think about it too much.

stormtrooperjulian · 06/06/2019 11:58

@BabySquid I had period type cramping for a couple of weeks around 4-6 weeks, mainly at night as far as I can remember (or I just noticed it more then cos I wasn’t busy). I assumed it was things starting to stretch and grow.

DH and I are going to the Mothercare expectant parents event tonight. I’ve made a list of prams that I want to look at. Starting to feel like we’re actually getting organised!

BabySquid · 06/06/2019 12:00

@stormtrooperjulian that sounds so exciting, I can't wait to do things like that. I've been advised (long ago pre even ttc!!) that I need a pram I can put up and down with one hand, so it's easier for when I'm on my own and I have baby in one arm!!

MrsR16 · 06/06/2019 13:17

@thumper59 yes lovely, I'm doing ok! Less than a week to go before the scan!

@BabySquid I still get a bit of cramping now occasionally! It's never been as bad as my periods (but mine were awful) but I guess that baby is just growing and things are stretching ready to make room! Xx

Delilah7 · 06/06/2019 14:15

How is everyone? Xo

BabySquid · 06/06/2019 15:54

@Delilah7 bloated as heck!!! I can't decide if I feel nauseous or just bloated... but I've had to undo my pants at my desk haha
How are you doing? Xx

MrsC87 · 06/06/2019 16:19

I'm on maternity leave so feeling flipping great 😆🙌🏻 @Delilah7 you?
Welcome to all the new ladies 💗
I'm currently on antibiotics as lab found ecoli in my urine, I'm sure it's from Miller and Carter last weekend!! Don't feel poorly now thankfully x

Delilah7 · 06/06/2019 16:42

@BabySquid I miss the feeling of trying to squeeze in to jeans hehehe. @MrsC87 I'm on maternity leave too!

I'm ok. Had another appointment. The hospital I'm currently at before going Addenbrookes has said due to my liver they'd induce at 36/37 weeks. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow! I now hope Addenbrookes say the same!! Xx

Tropicana1 · 06/06/2019 17:56

@BabySquid I named mine by the weeks too! Sesame seed, rice grain, the blueberry 😂
I had cramping for at least the first week or so as well
9 weeks 3d today and really hoping that this nausea and vomiting ease up over the next few weeks! Should get my 12 week scan date through in the next week or so!

EltzBee · 06/06/2019 18:48

@MrsC87 @Delilah7 oh wow about being on maternity leave. I'm starting my actual maternity leave on my due date, but booked the week of it and week before as holiday. So working til I'm 38 weeks with last day 16th August. Seems ages away still 😭😳🙈

Mrs C what a pain having to take antibiotics! How long do you have till due date now?

Delilah oh blimey so baby could be here in less than 2 weeks! Exciting.

I had my 28 week midwife appointment today (I'm 28wk tomorrow). All fine, midwife is going to refer me to physio. Wonder if I'll actually get seen before baby arrives though...! Still having do much hip and lower back pain. Have booked myself another massage for next week to see if that helps again as getting desperate.

Oh and 2nd half of the wardrobe should be coming Monday. Keep fingers crossed.

MrsC87 · 06/06/2019 21:20

@EltzBee so I'm due 16th July but being induced like @Delilah7 between 37-38 weeks. I'm 35 this coming Tues!
Yeh I feel like I've never taken so much medicine, Metformin, Insulin and Antibiotics. Just hope my boy is okay with it all!

I'm getting pelvic pain and have purchased a yoga/pregnancy ball. I finding bouncing and rotating my hips has helped. Have you got one @EltzBee? xx

Delilah7 · 06/06/2019 21:22

@EltzBee @MrsC87 yeah very surreal! hopefully by next next Friday he will be out 😍😍

MrsC87 · 06/06/2019 21:24

So exciting @Delilah7 how are you feeling about birth? xx

Delilah7 · 06/06/2019 21:27

@MrsC87 mines abit up in the air atm. Not sure if c section or natural - I have tested high for clotting along with other things so need an update Monday from the consultant. How about you xx

MrsC87 · 06/06/2019 21:35

Well keep me updated on what they say @Delilah7

Mixed feelings for me, as I've heard mixed things about inductions, it can be really quick or quite the opposite which may result in c section. Main things I'm dreading is the long stay in hospital and the recovery after a c section. But the bottom line is as long as my boy is safe I'll do anything xx
