@MrsR16 thanks I'm chuffed with it, hopefully our little lady will like it! Nursery not finished yet will be a few weeks till we get the wall decals up but eek feeling so real. We rearranged the furniture we've built so far earlier :)

@EltzBee I'm sure she'll love it! You're so organised! It genuinely makes me feel ill every time I look at stuff to get because there's just so much! And I was hoping for handmedowns from my sister, but clearly that's not going to happen! 😂 xxx

@MrsR16 I'm trying my best to be organised whilst I still can, lol!

I did a list quite early on of 'stuff to get' and totally with you, it's all so overwhelming. It's really helped psychologically getting some of those big purchases/orders made already though, I think I'd be super stressed if I'd left it til now to start thinking about it.

We've not had hand-me-downs (nobody to give them to us sadly!) although my step-sister did pass on a few really nice pieces that she had saved. We've gotten one big bundle from a lady locally who was selling her used baby stuff, in excellent condition and was a total bargain, and we went to a nearly new sale last month and picked some more bits up. We've only bought a few things brand new clothes wise for first 3 months :) you never know your sister and you might be able to trade still as they grow!! lol

@Fivebyfive2 good luck for the scan! 💜How have you been feeling symptoms wise this time round?

@EltzBee I can't believe you have a pram!! Soooo exciting! And baby clothes too! You must be so excited to meet her- I can't believe you are nearly there 👶🏼💕

@bettythecat, am feeling slightly different this time around, but nothing dramatic! Just more tired, sore boobs but that comes and goes. I think I've been a tiny bit sick maybe twice, but that was probably more about over indulgence than anything! Starting to get a bit constipated at times now, so trying to be a bit better with diet; bran flakes, activia yogurt, more veg, water etc and seems to have helped. How are you feeling? I hope you're doing OK xx At first I was really anxious and didn't want to get carried away/excited, but then dh and I had a chat and decided it would make no difference so we may as well try and enjoy it! Xxx

@Fivebyfive2 glad to hear you aren't feeling too sick and you're feeling positive about it. I'm sure everything will be perfect. You're quite right to enjoy it too. I'm feeling ok symptoms wise- don't have many to be honest just my sore boobs at the moment but I have had days when have felt more irritable and emotional and have been a bit constipated too. I did think I felt a bit queasy a couple of days last week but maybe wishful thinking?! (I'm sure everyone with proper morning sickness will want to kill me with that comment!). Emotionally I'm not sure really- I think it's just on my mind all the time. I think I knew last time that things weren't progressing past a certain point so I'm trying to trust my body as I do feel pregnant right now. Also trying to think I'll be in the 80% not the 20% again. It's hard not to let me mind run away with me though! Xx

@Bettythecat & @Fivebyfive2 I know exactly how you're feeling. DH and I are also enjoying the moment. And I'm feeling much more positive about this time. How far are you guys?

@Fivebyfive2 exciting!! @BabySquid we are nearly twins! Have you had a previous mc? Do you plan to go for an early scan if so? I called he EPU yesterday and they've booked me in for one at 7 weeks in two weeks time. Already nervous at the thought!

Ps @BabySquid I'm reassured that your symptoms sounds relatively low key at the moment too- I think I drive myself mad constantly prodding my boobs and symptom spotting! I think the reality is I'm so early on I would be unlikely to have anything really anyway!

@Bettythecat yes I have, in September, so I'm booking an early one that does internal ones at 6 weeks, hoping to go next Friday or Saturday in time to tell our parents on Father's Day.
We got one off groupon for a place in Bradford but the phone rang dead every time we tried to call, so I went in person this morning (as it said it was open from 8!) and the shutters were down like it was closed closed. So DH requested a refund from groupon, then had an email reply saying they're open!! So we've sacked them off anyway and are going somewhere else in Leeds.

@BabySquid oh my god how annoying!! Think it would probably be more reassuring to go elsewhere now anyway after being faffed around and them being closed. I've already told my mum and dad and three best friends. One of the worst parts of the mmc being diagnosed was finding a way to tell people "I was pregnant but now I'm still pregnant but it's not growing" so wanted to have my nearest and dearest in the know in case (god forbid) it happens again. Everyone is being cautiously optimistic. Totally personal choice though of course I know lots of people prefer to wait as it's so private.

Sorry to dominate the thread everyone by the way- how is everyone getting on today?

@Bettythecat @BabySquid I feel for both of you! It can't be easy. I'm doing alright, still feeling human which is new this week 😂 11 weeks today! Dating scan is next Wednesday... I'm so excited! Xx

@MrsR16 oh my gosh, I bet you can't wait!! Is this your first scan?

@BabySquid I am literally wishing the week away! I had a scan last Wednesday, as Peanut (mum's nickname for it and it's stuck!) was misbehaving and I was having a few bleeds. But it's all good, bouncing and wriggling around in there like a good 'un! Saw the heartbeat for all of about 1 second before it wriggled out of position 😂 I think that's why I'm so chill at the moment - I know everything is likely to be ok so I'm just enjoying it! Xx

@MrsR16 wow that sounds so lovely having seen Peanut on the screen bouncing around. I'm so longing that will be me soon. I bet your scan will be perfect and it's great that you are chilled. 💕

@MrsR16 that's so cute. Little peanut, I've taken to calling it sesame seed haha this week it'll be known as rice grain (I'm not very original!)
I've booked my early scan, next Saturday... I'll be 6+4 can't wait.

18+2 today. Bump looks bumpy in clothes but I just look tubby with my bare belly! Think I've started feeling some little movements, but I can't be completely sure...

Thanks again all so much, 9 days to go now! As silly as it sounds I've been so great full for the massive sickness I got today and the pain in my boobs I have now I've taken my bra off. Trying to stay positive as I've done a lot of research and seeing the yolk is a positive sign 🙂 so looking like I might be more 5.5 weeks rather 6.5 weeks, crazy how even a day can make a difference
