@EltzBee no I haven't called them, it was literally nothing and I'm actually wondering if it was just in my head 🤯. I'm going to see how I get on tonight and give them a call tomorrow. The nausea has past to, always seem to get it before eat and after, so can't win.

@Fivebyfive2 yes I'm just going to try and switch off and relax. I do get stressed really easily and have bad anxiety anyway so doesn't help. I've seen good offers on groupon for early scans. Either way if you get an early scan or not, try and see it as seeing your baby sooner rather than 'what if'.

Delilah7 · 02/06/2019 14:52

Need a pick me up 😔 worst day ever.

Grandad passed away this morning at 5am after a horrific night with what I can only call the death rattle. I've heard it once before and it's horrible.
I am now at hospital with my other half who called an ambulance as he thought he was having a heart attack 😔
My poor little belly is so tight and stressed.

MrsR16 · 02/06/2019 15:06

@Delilah7 I'm so so sorry to read your news... I have no words to help out, but wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and your family at this awful time xxx

EltzBee · 02/06/2019 15:40

So sorry to hear that @Delilah7, thinking of you and your family.

@DayDreamer1707 hope you're feeling okay this weekend?

@Fivebyfive2 I don't think there's any right or wrong with an early scan, do what will help you feel less anxious/stressed. For me that was wait till 12 weeks and once we got to 10 weeks it was easier to resist!

Feeling a bit blah this weekend, think just because I'm so tired as not sleeping properly 😴

DayDreamer1707 · 02/06/2019 17:20

@EltzBee not good unfortunately, had pink bleeding once yesterday when I wiped and then more red today just the once so far. Had cramping a lot too, nothing too bad just constant 😔. Got to see a doctor yesterday as the EPU wasn't open. He checked my blood pressure and said that was all fine which was good. He said it's very common to bleed early on and to try and relax and to call the EPU Monday. X

Delilah7 · 02/06/2019 17:33

@MrsR16 @EltzBee thank you ladies xxxx

TrashKitten10 · 02/06/2019 20:04

@Delilah7 Really sorry about your grandad Thanks

@DayDreamer1707 Poor you, as normal as these things are it doesn't stop you worrying. Hope you get some reassurance from the EPU tomorrow.

@Fivebyfive2 I was really pleased to have had my 8 week scan and i think I'd have really struggled with worry waiting for another month. Completely up to you though whether it would offer you the same reassurance.

@EltzBee Can't believe the nightmare you've had with your furniture! Hopefully the last bits arrive soon.

Delilah7 · 02/06/2019 20:26

@TrashKitten10 thank you xxxx

Fivebyfive2 · 02/06/2019 22:34

@DayDreamer1707, hope all goes OK at the EPU tomorrow, will be thinking of you xxx

EltzBee · 03/06/2019 08:55

@TrashKitten10 I know it's a right pain; I'm still waiting to find out when we'll be getting it. The person I've been dealing with isn't in today but I'm going to ring and see if someone else can give me an update.

Our pram etc is due to arrive tomorrow so I can only hope that arrives smoothly or I don't think my temper/patience will cope!

@DayDreamer1707 sorry to hear the weekend was still rough. Hope you manage to get hold of the EPU today.

stormtrooperjulian · 03/06/2019 11:19

@Delilah7 I’m so sorry to hear that. How are you doing today?

@Fivebyfive2 I had an early scan at 7+4 and found it reassuring. I think I’d have stressed a lot more over the following few weeks without it.

@DayDreamer1707 how are you today? Have you spoken to EPU?

@EltzBee I can’t believe how many issues you’re having with deliveries! I hope it goes more smoothly from now on.

I’ve decided that DH and I need to make a start on getting organised for the baby. I’ve made him download a list app and started a list of baby things we need to buy, I’ve chosen a car seat, and we’re going to the Mamas and Papas baby event this weekend so we can hopefully try out some prams there. The list of baby things is huge though, it’s a bit overwhelming how much stuff we seem to need.

DayDreamer1707 · 03/06/2019 11:27

Morning ladies and thank you for asking. So far only a little bit of pink CM. I have spoken to the EPU and they have said it's very common and not to worry but they've booked me in for a scan tomorrow morning. I'm am so petrified right now. Trying to stay positive and strong but it's extremely difficult aster my MMC last year. Xx

Delilah7 · 03/06/2019 11:43

@stormtrooperjulian pretty numb atm :( xxx

BabySquid · 03/06/2019 11:47

Hi ladies 👋🏻 I'm so very pleased to be finally joining this thread. 🤰🏼🙋🏼‍♀️
Got my BFP on Friday and it's all surreal and amazing. Can't wait to share my journey with you all.

MrsEG · 03/06/2019 11:56

Just checking in on you lovely ladies to see how everyone was doing :)

@DayDreamer1707 Sorry to read this but as you say, it is so common. I’ll keep all fingers and toes crossed for your scan tomorrow- I can imagine you’re terrified and nothing I can say will change that! So just try and take it easy today and this time tomorrow hopefully you’ve had some wonderful news xx

@Delilah7 Hun I am so so sorry to read the news, I hope you are feeling a little better today xx

MrsC87 · 03/06/2019 11:56

Hey ladies, so I've been taking a break for a while just because I'm so tired. Today has done it for me, poorly over the weekend with diarrhoea 🙄, then I've been to see midwife and have protein in urine, insulin not controlling my sugars, kept in for monitoring as baby's heart rate too high. Thankfully all fine with baby. But I'm done, asking work to move my leaving date forward to this Weds. I need to check out and rest! Looks like induction at 37 weeks which is 3 weeks away.

So sorry to hear your news @Delilah7 sending lots of love.
To whoever asked about an early scan, I had one at 7 weeks and it put my mind at rest massively.
@DayDreamer1707 Sending lots of love and positive thoughts. I was in your position at 9 weeks and thankfully all okay! It's hard but try and remain as positive as you can.

Hope everyone is okay 😘

Delilah7 · 03/06/2019 12:35

@BabySquid OMG!!! Congratulations darling xxx

@MrsEG thank you lovely 🥰 I'm abit numb. And abit down in the dumps! Xxx

@MrsC87 thank you :) xxx

BabySquid · 03/06/2019 12:49

Thanks @Delilah7 it's a bit nerve wracking, and I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself due to my mc last time at 5+4.
How are you doing? How far along are you now?

Delilah7 · 03/06/2019 13:08

@BabySquid I completely get it Hun. Just try not and stress. Once you're over 5+4 too it'll be a relief.
I'm ok apart from everything that's been going on with my health, little mans heart and now my grandad passing. I'm ready for some happy news. I'm 34 weeks + 3 days xxx

MrsR16 · 03/06/2019 13:30

@BabySquid omg congratulations!!!! Great news for you! Xx

@MrsC87 goodness that'll come round super quick! Xx

@DayDreamer1707 got absolutely everything crossed for you! I would have been a nervous wreck now if I hadn't have had a scan last week... it's made these 2 weeks go so much easier! Xx

MrsC87 · 03/06/2019 13:48

Congrats @BabySquid 💗

thumper59 · 03/06/2019 13:49

@BabySquid congratulations!!

@Delilah7 all my thoughts are with you and yours. Take care of yourself ❤️

18 weeks today and I'm feeling good really. A bit too good- making me anxious that something is wrong so I'm awaiting that 20 week scan. Can't wait to start feeling movement! A little bump has started to appear too which is lovely, I would just like a little kick so I know everything is ok!

Delilah7 · 03/06/2019 13:52

@thumper59 thank you ❤️

BabySquid · 03/06/2019 15:41

I'm thinking about having an early scan. Did anyone here have an early scan? If so, at what week and did you pay for it??

MrsC87 · 03/06/2019 15:47

I did at 7 weeks, paid around £50 privately. For me it put my mind at ease @BabySquid x
