@Fivebyfive2 I'm trying to be. Just really hard with this and Grandad and then the stuff with my health they're finding out. Feel I'm going to have a nervous blooming breakdown 😔

Thanks for all the kind words ladies. Really means a lot xxx

EltzBee · 28/05/2019 19:33

@thumper59 by about 16 weeks it was a definite small bump, my shape changed before that though! I could have still hidden it easily enough when needed though to to about 18 weeks? My bump has growth spurts I'm sure since days I wake up and it's just grown lol

@delilah7 hugs, it sounds like you'll be in safe hands xx

I feel huge today at 26+4, I got DH to take a picture and I've definitely got bigger since the last one we did a few weeks ago! Eek.

Got a sore arm from my whooping cough vaccine today Doh.

Delilah7 · 28/05/2019 19:37

@EltzBee ❤️❤️

MrsR16 · 28/05/2019 19:57

@Delilah7 that's great to hear that your sister got on so well at the Rosie! To be fair, if I didn't have to travel so far down the A14 to get there, I'd have much rather used the Rosie than Peterborough! Xxx

Delilah7 · 28/05/2019 19:58

@MrsR16 it's not a mission for us but it is further and that's what had put me off. But for Ethan's sake I need to go there xxx

mrsof20118 · 28/05/2019 22:15

Can you do some pregnancy yoga or something similar @delilah7. Really good for taking time out for yourself for an hour or so x

Delilah7 · 29/05/2019 07:44

@mrsof20118 yeah I could do! Xxx

Tropicana1 · 29/05/2019 08:20

Hey ladies! I've been so absent recently because bugger me I had no idea that early pregnancy would be like this!! If I'm not throwing up or feeling nauseous all day long I'm utterly exhausted! Not the calm serene zen glowing experience I was expecting 😂😂
I've found being on my phone makes the nausea worse so I've been avoiding it a lot.

@Fivebyfive2 I feel the same about sex, got to the stage where I feel so shit I don't fancy it at all at the moment whereas DH is up for it poor man!

@Delilah7 so sorry to hear about Ethan's heart, must be so scary for you xx

Delilah7 · 29/05/2019 09:18

@Tropicana1 it is. Glad I finish work Friday!! Need this relaxing time xxx

stormtrooperjulian · 29/05/2019 09:22

@Delilah7 it must be so scary hearing about your baby’s heart. At least the doctors know in advance and will take good care of both of you during and after the birth.

@thumper59 I didn’t really have a noticeable bump til 20 - 21 weeks, til then I just looked a bit chunky

@Tropicana1 how far along are you now? I found that around 11 weeks it was like a switch had been flipped and I suddenly felt normal again. I didn’t have nausea or sickness though, just the exhaustion

I told my colleagues yesterday. Managed to avoid an awkward ‘announcement’ - I bought a load of cakes etc and send an email around saying that if I had to get fat then they could all get fat with me. Seemed to do the job!

Had my repeat 20 week scan yesterday too, baby was much more cooperative this time around so they got everything they needed. Nice to have another chance to see him too.

Delilah7 · 29/05/2019 09:33

@stormtrooperjulian it is, however even worse I guess that they can't defo say that's what it is... 😔 xx

EltzBee · 29/05/2019 10:24

@Tropicana1 yeah the first few months are so rough! I was chucking up daily from 6 weeks through to 21 weeks, it got better from about 17/18 weeks where it was mostly just the mornings, but before that some days I could barely keep anything down. That and the exhaustion are just so awful! We've not had sex since we got our BFP before Christmas!

@stormtrooperjulian glad the cake approach worked for you too :) when it doubt, throw treats at people and run :D glad that the repeat scan went well too and baby behaved! We had to have 3 scans in one day for our 20 weeker (really didn't want to have to go back to the hospital, plus we were off on holidays the week after it!) as the baby was such a rascal at not letting them see everything they wanted to!

CobaltRose96 · 29/05/2019 12:19

Scarlett will be 11 weeks old tomorrow! Where has the time gone?!

Also, it's my birthday today 😄

EltzBee · 29/05/2019 12:49

@CobaltRose96 happy birthday and oh gosh she just keeps getting cuter! She looks like she's grown loads - I guess you're nearly at that time to change up to next size baby clothes too :o :o

I've been looking at those baby rocker chairs this lunch time online. I did a quick straw poll in the office and it seems the (highly inaccurate results!) are that only 1 in 3 of the babies liked them...hmm!!!

Annoyingly the one I found that looks cute isn't a battery one. But then I thought the idea was that you could pop baby in there so they were somewhere safe whilst you nipped to the loo/had a quick shower/washed up but apparently they took the baby in the chair with them in to the bathroom?! This seems weird to me....!

CobaltRose96 · 29/05/2019 12:57

@EltzBee OMG yes, she’s like a weed! At her last weigh in she was 12lbs 4oz! Not far off double her birth weight! Shock She’s also grown almost 4 inches since birth. She now fits into some 3-6 month clothes! Where’s my tiny 6lb baby going?! grin]

Delilah7 · 29/05/2019 12:59

@CobaltRose96 she's so cute!!!!!! Happy birthday lovely x x

EltzBee · 29/05/2019 13:13

@CobaltRose96 oh wow she's definitely growing well then! That's crazy to think even as so tiny a baby when she was born at 11 weeks she's starting to outgrow some 0-3. I think maybe I should not buy much more in 0-3 lol.

MrsR16 · 29/05/2019 13:26

Hey lovelies! Sorry I've been absent from here for a while... I had a couple of scares and (naturally) assumes the worst. However, I had an early scan this morning (10 weeks according to LMP) and baby is doing really well! Obviously it's not accurate at this stage, but baby is measuring roughly at 11 weeks already! Now can't wait for my 12 (or 13!) week scan to give me a better due date! Now allowing myself to get a little excited 😊 xxx

MrsR16 · 29/05/2019 13:27

Btw @CobaltRose96 Scarlett is simply gorgeous!!! And happy birthday! 😘 xx

EltzBee · 29/05/2019 13:32

@MrsR16 ah that's great news! The original date from LMP can change by a few days surprisingly easily as implantation could vary from like 5 to 10 days on average. So pleased for you that it went well :) you must have seen them looking like a proper little baby if they're dating 11 weeks at the moment :D xxx

We've booked in for a 4D scan at 32 weeks, looking forward to that. We would have had it about 30 weeks but my Mum gets back to the UK a few days before we turn 32 weeks and was super excited about idea of coming to it, so being patient and booked it in for then instead.

So, so, so tired today. In the office and I could literally close my eyes and fall asleep at my desk. I'm going to blame the whooping cough vaccine jab I had yesterday lol.

MrsR16 · 29/05/2019 13:45

@EltzBee yes, it was lovely to see them! Apparently it's a proper little wiggler 😂 I'd love to have a 4D scan! My eldest sister had one with both of her boys and the picture is just incredible! I fully sympathise with the tiredness... you must be exhausted! I think my tiredness is mainly the relief of everything being ok and Peanut doing well 😊 xxx

EltzBee · 29/05/2019 13:50

@MrsR16 we did a 16 week gender scan which included some 4D view too (you can get them without having to know if it's a pink or blue baby too!) and it was amazing, and definitely made that wait between the 12 week and 20 week scans more bearable :) they looked so much like a proper little baby!

Yeah I feel nearly as tired today as I did during the first 3 or 4 months, not good! Glad you're feeling relieved, I'm really so pleased for you that it went well. Put your feet up and have a relaxing evening tonight!

MrsR16 · 29/05/2019 13:57

@EltzBee sounds like you need to take your own advice as well!! 😊 I've gotta go back to work! Have a good afternoon and I'll catch up with this thread tonight ❤️❤️ xx

EltzBee · 29/05/2019 16:41

@MrsR16 probably! I don't sleep very well lately so just permanently tired lol. Working from home tomorrow so least I can take it a bit easier when I need to.

Fivebyfive2 · 29/05/2019 18:00

@MrsR16, so glad to hear all is well!! You must be so relieved, don't blame you for getting excited! Xx

@CobaltRose96, aaaahhh she's so gorgeous!! Xx

@Tropicana1, hi hun! Sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish. I've only had a bit of sickness so far, but my god the wind!! It's a whole new level! Have been having naps after work too... And crying at First Dates!

Have just told dh that next week, at 8 weeks, I'll probably be a bit all over the place, as it is when we realised something was wrong before. Keeping everything crossed nothing happens this time and all is ok!
