Hi Bobby, was very anxious before my scan too, i hope it reassures you as much as it did me, it’s amazing! Lots to learn, and hard not to get bogged down by all the info, I’m no expert but trying not to over google things as a lot of it is marketing to get you to buy stuff! I got a bump to baby book from my midwife which has loads of great info not sure if they do these everywhere or just in Wales.

How are everyone's bumps coming along? I feel like mine is so small for almost 16 weeks!

My bump was almost non existent until 20 weeks but had had a growth spurt particularly the last week! Finally feel I "look pregnant" although it is still surprising people to find out...

@BobbySD345 all the best for your scan! I was so so freaked out before mine, especially as baby was a little bit of a surprise, I found it hard to believe there was a baby in there until I saw it on the screen!!

I’m 26 weeks! Due august too hope I can cope in warm weather!!

Are you having a boy or a girl @Kathryn19 ?did you have a look at any of the gender prediction theories before hand? Me and OH are going mad looking at "nubs" haha

@Babylentil a girl 😊 couldn't figure it out at all! Our mothers both said boy based on carrying low and heartburn...

@Kathryn19 thank you ! I have had some other scans because I'm under a consultant due to history but fingers and toes are crossed for this little one ! Monday is the dating scan and I'm so anxious!

@BabyLentil @Daffodil2491 I can't stop googling ! I feel like we are going to have to eat dust for the next 6 month's to be able to afford everything. I don't even know where to start ... !

I was so bloated up until around week 10 and then now I've just been left with what everyone else will probably think is a food baby. Running out of baggy clothes to hide it so I'm glad I can tell people from next week.

Due 28th June with first baby. A little girl. X

I go from feeling like "god this is so boring, I'VE BEEN PREGNANT FOREVER, make it hurry up" to "Holy shit it's going to fast I'm not ready!"

There is no in between.

The dad and I are not together- I decided I didn't want to be with him and then found out about baby 😬, but my mum is putting me up until after maternity leave so I'm not worrying about rushing back to pay rent, I'm very lucky.

Haven't gone mad with shopping, and don't know the sex of the baby either.

Fyi - apparently not unusual for sickness to return in third trimester, so that's fun.

@AuntMarch I’m the same, feels like this has been forever then I think shit if she’s a few wks early it could be 5 weeks which isn’t long or 10 if she’s a couple late which feels like forever!!

@BobbySD345 I still feel like the tiny bump I do have is 90% bloat! Can't wait to shop for clothes to show my bump off when it comes, for now I just look like I've had a large dinner haha

Up for the loo again 😂 it’s lovely to read everyone’s stories! Everyone keeps joking that I’m having twins because my bump has popped already at 16 weeks, even though 12 week scan showed one lol. It’s not huge but definitely there my clothes haven’t fitted for a couple of weeks had to go mat clothes shopping early because everything was so uncomfortable!

@BobbySD345 don’t know where to start either! Sending hugs, am sure we will figure it out eventually one thing at a time! I find lists help, if I see something I like otherwise I forget where I’ve seen it! I started with an outfit the day of my scan to mark the day. Really hope all goes well for you on Monday, be kind to yourself don’t think I slept properly for a week before mine due to nerves, fingers crossed and good luck x x.

Scan yesterday and dated at 13+2, due 6 November.
First trimester was feeling pretty rough so I’m really enjoying feeling more like my usual self atm!

Ah I feel you @Daffodil2491!! Was up half the night needing to pee, with the pregnancy blocked nose, leg cramps, an achey bump. Can only imagine how it's going to be by the end....

Aw this is such a friendly group I love reading all these messages!

You see I wonder if I'm just still bloated then because I'm definitely showing at under 12 weeks and I've had to wear the same 2 outfits for work the last 2 week's as when in my suit skirts, it's really obvious

Does anyone think it is bad luck to buy things before 12 weeks? Hubby came home the other day with the most adorable Dumbo newborn grow from Matalan and I've panicked and shoved it in a drawer out of sight !
