Heya all I think I sent a message in last thread but I'm due 28th Nov with my second. Waiting for my 12 weeks scan presently.
No morning sickness though I do have random bouts of a feeling hungover almost. I do feel a lot more tired than usual so haven't run in ages which I miss.

I might have been a bit premature with thinking I was done with EPU... I've had bleeding all the pregnancy but its changed to red and there's slightly more of it the last couple of days, but no pain, so Ill have to go back to hospital

Is anyone else taking progression photos of their pregnancy? I've taken pictures of my evolving bump in all of mine. I have to get my old ones out to compare but I feel massive this time compared to the last three, but that's probably more to do with the 2.5 stone weight difference between them rather than baby

That sounds stressful Bananas. Is your EPU open on the bank holiday or will you have to wait? I'm also so much bigger this time around (both due to previous not lost baby weight and super-fast expanding tummy).

What nice plans does everyone have today? I've spent the morning cuddled up watching films with the toddler and then we're off to my parents for lunch. DH should be home from work at 3 and maybe I can even have a nap?!

We’re in Barcelona at the moment, and saw Metallica last night. It was incredible, but I was very aware of how much space I had and giving myself a quick route to the exit if needed.

@bananas I took my first bump photo yesterday - I feel huge!

I plan to start taking photos following the 12 week scan. I didn't want to start earlier due to fears everything might not be okay, but looking at the size of me now I wish I had!! That said, I don't know whether my changing size is due to baby or the amount of crisps I'm eating

I had my scan last Thursday. All went well and baby again waved at us 🥰 My due date was confirmed to be 9/11. Now just waiting for the results from the blood test and counting days till the next scan.

I definitely have a bump now. Wasn't expecting that with this being my first pregnancy, but for 2 weeks now I have started wearing maternity tights to work and maternity jeans when I'm out. Wish I had done it sooner, they are so comfy 😄

Hey all I paid for a private scan cause I'm a born worrier and they gave me so many cute photos we saw the baby moving an have it on a video it was amazing I love this photo looks like baby sucking thumb

Ladies, I wanted to ask if any of you have had problems with bladder not emptying properly?
I have retroverted uterus, I'm not sure if that has to do with something, but last night I had to go to bathroom 5 times in 6 hours. My bladder was so full, but only a bit was dripping out. There was no pain, nothing. And by morning it got better and I finally managed to go properly. I'm only 13+2, so probably it's too early for baby to be pressing on my bladder 😕

I had a few spots of blood last night but my epu isn't open bank holiday / my 12 week scan is tomorrow afternoon so just hoping it was nothing to worry about. No where near the level I experienced with DS2! So hopefully just a coincidence

@Mintypea5 So sorry to hear about DS but glad he seems a little better. Hopefully the bleeding is nothing to worry about too.

Not long now till your scan and you'll get to see baby dancing around in there.

Went to see som point to point horse racing today but had to leave early. I'm getting so cold and sick feeling very easily these days.
I kid you not had t-shirt, goody, husband cardigan and thick windproof coat and I just felt so cold and ill. Anyone else like this?

I'm frozen right now I've had to find a blanket to cover myself with and my DH is sat in a t-shirt happy out! It's a different story at night though I goto bed cold and wake up in the night sweating!

Its so nice to see everyone's scans I'm getting so impatient I don't have a date for mine yet but the midwife said it probably won't be until I'm 14-16 weeks due to them being so busy

farmum that isn't acceptable and if you put pressure on they will fit you in somewhere. You will miss the window for screening if it's that late. They tried this with a friend of mine, not realising she was an OB doctor and knew what the NICE guidelines etc were and she talked about complaining to PALs and NHS England. They got her an appointment within the recommended time frame. Good luck to you

Yes to feeling cold a lot! Thought was just me. Mines in afternoon/evening have to put my dressing down over my clothes look like such a bag lady! Think it's connected to if I get hungry?!

I find I always feel cold when pregnant. It comes in waves

@Farmmum7 call up and make a bit of a fuss! You'll miss out on the screening then. There is a blood test they can do instead but I'm sure they can squeeze you in somewhere

Scan tomorrow! Flipping between excitement and then absolute dread! Will be tell DS1 tomorrow as well if all is good. We've decided just to put a scan picture in our family chat not "announce" it as such since we won't be seeing them all for 2 weeks now.

My 12 week scan is today and I'm so scared!

I'll call them and ask they do the blood test and everything at the same time apparently I'm over in Ireland and I'm not sure how they do things it's making me quite anxious! I have to see the Dr today the vomiting came back with avengence last night so im hoping to get more anti puke pills to get me through the next couple of weeks so I'll ask him for some advice. For some reason each time I throw up I burst blood vessels in my eyes so I'm walking around looking like something out of a horror movie!!

I had my dating scan yesterday but I've got to go back on 16th because I was 11+5 and she said it wasn't far enough to do the nuchal test (or whatever it is called) and the proper measurements. It wasn't a pleasant experience as they were 40 mins late which meant I was bursting for the loo, the sonographer was so rude and abrupt, she absolutely soaked my clothes with the gel and pressed so hard on my tummy it hurt for hours afterwards. I think we have been spoilt with all the Tommy's scans because they're so lovely in there. Hopefully 16th is a different lady 🤞🏻 We did get a cute pic though

@Farmmum7 between 11+2 and 14+1 they can do the combined test which is the fluid measurement and then the blood test. After that they have to do the quadruple blood test for the risk of downs etc. Obviously they can still scan you to see baby and date

I am freezing this pregnancy too. Dont know why, I'm living in my dressing gown when in the house. Like a big fleecey womble.

Off for EPU scan in a minute, just have fingers crossed for happy wiggly baby again.
