I have just what I can only describe as a tantrum.

2 days I have been craving pure orange juice. Today the Tesco delivery came.
Guess which one thing was missing. The one bloody thing.

So this made me upset then the Tesco man on the phone made me go through 6 addresses to ID me and we ended up landing on one I haven't lived at for near a decade 🙄 so that got me ruffled.

Then I realised a refund wouldn't get me my orange juice so I went to put my clothes on to nip to the shop, DP started the car but then I thought no I feel and look like shite I'm going nowhere only I forgot to tell DP and he's sat there waiting.

He gets the hint and goes and gets me some but meanwhile I have lied in bed and sobbed and sobbed and got snot everywhere.

What the hell is this!! I can cope with cardiac arrests and traumas but the missing orange juice sends me over the edge?!

Mintypea5 · 01/05/2019 22:00

@Sunshineface123 mines on the 7th I'll be 13+1!! It's felt like eons waiting for it to come round.

@Prequelle I had a tantrum over crips the over week. Not quite cardiac arrest but I have a fairly fast paced government job and the thing that breaks me is bloody Cheetos

JoJoSaysHello · 01/05/2019 22:31

@Prequelle Blame the hormones (which I'm finding to be a good excuse for just about anything!! Hmm)

My scan is on Tuesday. Can't wait!!!! Lovely seeing everyone's scan pics on here Smile

BobbySD345 · 02/05/2019 08:32

I've got to go to the GP shortly. Figured I should probably wash my hair as I haven't done it since Saturday Blush Anyone else walking round looking like crap because they're too tired to make an effort !?

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 02/05/2019 09:13

@BobbySD345 I have less than a week til my exams so I am hiding in my house pretending to be studying and looking like the gruffalo. Im just too tired and its too much effort! DP is up in Dublin today though, so Ill have to get up and make an effort to rejoin the human race to collect the kids.

Had my seventh (!!) and hopefully last EPU scan on Monday at 11+3. Baby is spot on, ball of energy, waving little arms and legs everywhere. Dont know where it gets it from, DP and I are lazy feckers.

Was supposed to have booking in appt this Friday, but the midwife suggested that we put it back to 13 weeks as thats what they prefer and we will get to see so much more, so now I'll be 13+6 when I get it.

@Prequelle I understand the orange juice thing completely. Allowing my the orange juice to run out in my house is a shootable offence. I hope you at least gave the delivery driver some serious stinkeye.

Does anyone else have baby brain? Im trying to revise, but it is literally just pages with words on. Nothings going in at all, and yesterday I spent ten minutes trying to remember how to save to the USB rather than laptop, and last week forgot how to address an envelope correctly. Gah.

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 02/05/2019 09:17

11+3 I was looking for a nub thingy but I couldn’t see anything

It was just so strange feeling that way, I'm never normally like that I felt like a right tool when I woke up this morning ha. DP being v. Extra specially nice I think he may be wary...

Got an appointment with the OB today. Wondering what they will say

RainhamRosie · 02/05/2019 09:57

I have awful baby brain @BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil I made a bacon sandwich this morning and rather than turn the grill off i turned the oven on and wondered why the kitchen got really warm 🙄

I also had a dream that I ploughed my way through a bottle of red wine and a packet of cigarettes last night (not smoked for 5 years) and I've woken up feeling both guilty and insanely craving a glass of Malbec and a Marlboro Light.

Weirdest craving I've have yet and the only one I can't give into!

BobbySD345 · 02/05/2019 10:53

@bananasarethesourceofevil I may have triumphed in washing my hair (although almost fainted from the steamy shower in doing so) but haven't dried it and now look as if I have been dragged through a hedge!!

Back from GP. Raised white cell count apparently. Isn't that normal in pregnancy anyway? He told me not to worry as long as I feel OK.

Got myself a sausage sandwich on the way back Shock

Mintypea5 · 02/05/2019 10:53

@BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil I put my keys and bread in the fridge the other day. Work is a struggle with baby brain 😅

@Prequelle good luck for appointment

L0ULEW · 02/05/2019 12:24

Scan today :) baby 11+4 new due date of 17th Nov.

@Mintypea5 talk about putting stuff in the fridge. For some reason I left my phone in the fridge and milk in the cupboard yesterday 😂

@L0ULEW amazing scan pic ! I had one at 10 + 5 on Monday and I was disappointed as little one was facing forwards so it just looked like a blob! Hope I get a good shot like that on Monday at my dating scan (early at 11 + 5 but I'm reassured seeing your clear pic!)

BobbySD345 · 02/05/2019 12:35

This was mine at 10+5 and it's not very clear !

L0ULEW · 02/05/2019 12:40

@BobbySD345 ah that's a shame. I didn't drink loads before the scan dunno if that helped by not having a too full bladdar. May depend on their machines too I guess.

Prequelle · 02/05/2019 13:21

Well I'm amazed by them today to be honest. They've had a proper look at my history and put together connections that noone else has, things that have bothered me throughout my life, and think I have a disorder. Have to start taking clexane injections from today because it bumps my VTE score up but that's no bother. Just happy they've been so thorough especially when all this didn't seem to have anything to do with the issue I needed a consultant for anyway

BobbySD345 · 02/05/2019 15:42

Change of topic but is anyone very OCD/ house proud? I usually all the rooms clean every day, probably too obsessive, but given I am burnt out by 3pm at work every day I often come home and get into bed. Leaving the housework to hubby I can't believe how much the house has gone to pot. I'm working from home today and ventured downstairs to Hoover and ive ended up doing an hour's worth and not even made a dent ! Even things like the cupboards and the fridge being disorganised and dirty !! Shock I need to take a chill pill...

dottydally · 02/05/2019 16:35

Great scan pictures! Mine is tomorrow when I think I'll be 11+6 (midwife thinks 12+2) and I'm really nervous Sad

@L0ULEW how much did you drink?

Zarara · 02/05/2019 16:45

Told work and my boss today. It was a massive relief and they seemed to take it well (to my face anyway) so good luck to those that were worried about it. Glad i can now crack open the maternity clothes as my bump has surfaced much earlier this time around.

FirsttimemumLaura · 02/05/2019 16:53

Hi all I’m new to mumsnet and a first time mum. Baby due 31/10/19 😊 very excited and nervous!!

FirsttimemumLaura · 02/05/2019 16:56

Whoops meant 31/11/19.
Waiting for my booking in app next week and first scan on the 20th. I’m terrified! Please tell me I’m not the only one ?! 😫🙈

L0ULEW · 02/05/2019 17:20

@dottydally thank you. So excuse the detail but I woke up had a wee then had my cereal with milk. Couple swigs of water and that was it. So I had stuff in my bladder but didn't urgently need the toilet type thing. Made this scan a much better experience. Didn't even go to the loo until I was back home. If you need more you can always take a bottle with you to drink and they will ask you to do so but my midwife insisted that actually with the type of scanners they have these days it doesn't make too much of a difference.

thumper59 · 02/05/2019 18:18

20 week scan date through! 18th June 😊

Prequelle · 02/05/2019 18:23

I'm impressed with how organised mine have been now. I've already got the dates and times for my 20 week, 28 week and 36 week scan. Anti d app, GTT app...

Mintypea5 · 02/05/2019 19:38

Poor DS2 is really poorly with an ear infection. DH is in Berlin and I've spent most of the night in tears worrying about our scan Tuesday. It feels like forever to wait. I've not had any bleeding this pregnancy (Bar a small amount just before AF was due and I had a healthy 6 week scan 2 weeks later) but I can't shake the horrible horrible feeling it's all gone wrong.

I'm just a ball of stress tonight Sad

Prequelle · 02/05/2019 20:03

Oh minty mate I'm sorry you're feeling like this. It's bloody awful.
