I’ve woken up bleeding this morning...so worried! It’s just a bit so far with light cramps and I know it can be normal but it’s scary. Scan is on Monday so guess I just need to try and stay calm and hope everything is ok 😞

PrayingandHoping · 27/04/2019 08:10

@ACuppaSolvesEverything try to to worry. At least you have a scan Monday

What I've taken from this thread is that I think the stats of how many people bleed in early pregnancy is higher than they say....
it really is quite common but your heart stops when u see it x

jacquesjacques · 27/04/2019 08:14

@ACuppaSolvesEverything bless you. Try and take it easy and relax (I know this will be impossible). It is super common so likely you'll be ok.Fingers crossed for fabulous news on Monday. Big hugs.

@BobbySD345 I'm really giggling because I read your post as you having to lug suitcases full of flies around - no matter how many times I read it I still thought it said flies, was wondering what your job was until I realised Grin

ACuppaSolvesEverything · 27/04/2019 08:18

@PrayingandHoping @jacquesjacques
Thank you both ❤️

ChesMum2019 · 27/04/2019 09:21

@ACuppaSolvesEverything try and take it easy today and if it gets worse call your local epu. I had a major bleed last week ( think waking in the night to a bed covered I stood it flooded the floor my bathroom etc. So a lot a lot ) I thought the worst and little baby Is happily kicking away in there. And no cause was found except my placenta is very low so that could be it. I know it's easier said than done to say not to worry and we all do. But it would seem bleeding is more common than we are led to believe. Big hugs x x

RainhamRosie · 27/04/2019 09:38

@ACuppaSolvesEverything Rest up today. And try not to worry too much (I know easier said than done) I'll be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts

BobbySD345 · 27/04/2019 09:44

@JacquesJacques haha ! Flies would be a lot easier to carry 😂 unfortunately my job is far less interesting - Solicitor !

LordoftheRinse · 27/04/2019 10:02

Morning ladies. I’m having a McDonald’s breakfast this morning, DHs treat!.

@ACuppaSolvesEverything Try not to worry lovely, more often than not it’s nothing to worry about. Just take it slow today and treat yourself.

Mintypea5 · 27/04/2019 10:03

@ACuppaSolvesEverything I know how scary it is but just try to relax and rest up as much as possible call 111 or epu if it yes much heavier or painful.

I bleed pretty much all the time last pregnancy and I was terrified every day but baby was always ok just one of those things.

@Aph413 mines the 7th Thanks

Pollypocket5 · 27/04/2019 10:09

@ACuppaSolvesEverything I know how scary it is but it is very common to bleed in pregnancy. My doctor referred me to the EPU. It's good you have a scan on Monday and I'm sure baby will be there kicking away.

I have also gone for the McDonald's breakfast this morning as long as DP makes it in time. I think I might actually cry if he doesn't.

I honestly can't stop looking at my scan picture. It's just so amazing that it's actually a baby now. @Mintypea5 Mines the 7th too and I'm so excited to see baby again.

bearface45 · 27/04/2019 10:24

Last time I had a bleed at 8 weeks where it just gushed out and I nearly fainted. At the scan there was a tear on my womb just next to the baby. But everything was fine! Sounds like it really is common although nothing like that has happened this time x

Mintypea5 · 27/04/2019 10:28

I'm so jealous of all these McDonald's breakfasts!!!!! Although my lovely mil made me toast & marmite today (we're staying at hers because she had our DS2 for us last night so we could go out)

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 27/04/2019 10:42

Also jealous of the McDonald’s breakfasts! I’m having all bran and prune juice as I ate too many carbs yesterday 🤢

Anyone looking for maternity gear, boohoo.com have loads at good prices and they have lots of winter coats in the sale at about €29/30 so I might invest in one this coming week. My friend had a maternity coat (she was huge) and she said it was lovely being able to zip it up over her bump.

thumper59 · 27/04/2019 11:34

@LordoftheRinse amazing scan pic! I have no idea I wouldn't even know how to guess but everyone who has seen my scan pic from 12 weeks has said boy. So we will wait and find out!

@Rotorua it's mad isn't it! It never ever appeals to me, I'm far from a health freak I just never fancy it!

@ACuppaSolvesEverything thinking of you, although as everyone has said, it is more common than we are led to believe so don't worry to much, if possible!

LordoftheRinse · 27/04/2019 11:46

Thank you everyone! It’s crazy, last time I saw this little bean they were a tiny little dot and now they look like an actual little human!.

ACuppaSolvesEverything · 27/04/2019 17:07

Thanks everyone ❤️ It seems to have stopped so hopefully I was just being dramatic. Going to take it easy this weekend and hope everything is ok. Looking forward to the scan even more now just to check LO is ok.

Lk31 · 27/04/2019 17:22

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me joining, I'm due 12/11/19, I have been suffering so bad with the sickness, I literally can't leave bed. I have been off work for 6 weeks now, I'm 12 weeks on Tuesday and hoped things would start getting better but since yesterday I'm getting worse, can't keep any food down. Please tell me I'm not alone, feeling so depressed

Sessy19 · 27/04/2019 17:28

@Lk31, sickness has escalated again for me the last couple of days after a good week or so of feeling like I’d turned a corner. Thrown up 4times today, spent all day and today feeling absolutely awful. I can’t enjoy anything. I go to bed feeling awful and wake up feeling awful. I’m not going to lie...I’m getting pretty miserable about this ‘miracle’ event! 😔

Mintypea5 · 27/04/2019 17:37

@Lk31 sorry you're having such a rough time! Sending love

So tired today Blush

BobbySD345 · 27/04/2019 18:08

Sorry to hear of all those with bad sickness Sad fingers crossed it passes soon.

Did anyone watch "Ambulance" on Thursday where the girl gave birth without even knowing she was pregnant? Seriously, with all these wild symptoms how can people not know !!?

I've got a scan on Monday with Tommy's and then my 12 week one Monday 6th. Fingers & toes are crossed as I've had bad pains the last 48 hours Flowers

Mintypea5 · 27/04/2019 18:29

@BobbySD345 honestly if I hadn't peed on a stick and had a scan I wouldn't know I was. I don't get sickness and could easily put my tiredness down to having the worst cold / cough for years.

With DS1 i didn't find out until I was about 15 weeks because I had zero symptoms

Sunshineface123 · 27/04/2019 18:49

Sending solidarity for poor people feeling so sick! I've also had a rough couple of days, throwing up and feeling exhausted. Feeling bad on my toddler who is definitely not getting as much quality play time with mummy as I'd like 😢. Still, 11 weeks on Monday hoping will ease off soon🙏🏻

Farmmum7 · 28/04/2019 09:25

@lk31 Your not alone!! I've been feeling awful for the last 4 weeks even with anti nausea tablets I can't seem to leave the house without throwing up and I'm exhausted all the time. Ive just missed the final 3 weeks of a 2 year course I've been on and although I have a Dr note for the written exams I have missed so many practicals I just hope I wasn't the only one that did and that they will arrange for repeat days!

Hayley89 · 28/04/2019 09:47

Morning ladies! It's feels like it's been forever since I checked in! I hope you're all doing well? We've been decorating the last few weeks and good god it's never ending. Garage conversion starting on Monday as well so I'm considering moving out until it's all over to be honest, totally sick of it 😂

I've been having a bit of a panic and could really use some guidance. My symptoms disappeared a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't being sick but my nausea was pretty constant and my boobs felt like they'd been stabbed if I touched them but it all just suddenly went away over night. This was around 9.5wks and I'm now 12+1. My stomach doesn't seem to be getting bigger although it really was a while back and my boobs have deflated a bit. Most of all I've kind of lost that "I'm pregnant" feeling. Cravings are still there but aversions have eased up too. I told my OH how I was feeling and that I was worried and to be honest he was a bit of a dick and said he wished I hadn't told him because now HE'S worried! Anyway we have our dating scan booked for the 7th May and I was just going to keep quiet until then but I had a bit of blood when I wiped last night. Only a small amount and it was a very light pink (white loo roll so definitely noticeable!). Not had anything since but now I'm not sure what to do. I don't really want to mention it to OH incase it's nothing and he goes into panic mode again so I thought I'd ask you lovely ladies! Would you call the EPU or wait until the dating scan in a couple of weeks? I was thinking the latter unless I get more regular spotting but I'm not sure if this is a naive plan?!
Sorry for such a long message. Would usually consult with OH but he's turned into a nightmare worrying about every little thing, totally unexpected from Mr Laid Back himself 😂

BobbySD345 · 28/04/2019 10:17

@Hayley89 I'm sure everything is fine but I would ring EPU because if they are anything like my local unit they will offer you a scan on the day or the next which will hopefully reassure you and help you through the next 2 week's until your proper one. Understandable that OH is anxious but he needs to understand how you feel. Sending positive vibes Flowers
