Christmas babies

Just found out I’m expected a Christmas baby, well due 23 December according to online, which has been accurate in the past give or take a day! I know my cycle etc. Excited and nervous. Had some minor spotting the past few days, but AF never showed so took a test today and it was positive!

Anyone else due within days of Xmas? Might take a few days for people to find out if they are expecting a xmas baby. But thought I would start the thread now.

I've just been told strong symptoms at the start is a sign of twins. Not sure how to react to that comment.

@Mamabear12 I am also really bloated and constipated. Really I am quite delightful at the moment!!

If strong symptoms are the start of twins I am screwed! Today the only sure for the sickness was sitting in the car with the Air Con on and a pack of pineapple. Ritz Crackers are my best friend too. 😂🤰🤯!

I've decided not to take any more pregnancy tests for my sanity. I'm just going to embrace the 'Positive Mental Attitude' method and will my baby to grow healthy and not drive myself insane.

Even though I've had a call today from the GP putting me on antibiotics for a UTI so maybe my sickness and general nackeredness isn't twins at all just a UTI.

How are we all today?! Hope you're all keeping sane through balancing your work lives etc.

Exactly 5 weeks today, due 18th December .

Is anyone else terrified? I know I wanted this before, and we were trying, but now it's starting to feel real I swing between being crazy excited and absolutely terrified at how life changing this is going to be. But I guess that's normal!

@chishandfipps hi there your due the day before me 😊 I'm due on the 19th same as my little boys due date in December just gone.... yeah it's so scary sometimes but try not to over think everything just go with the flow and enjoy your pregnancy, not gonna lie it wasn't all fun & games in my last pregnancy but as soon as my little boy was born the love I felt for him just erased any problems I ever had and that included the 7 years of infertility, seems like a bad dream now lol
And I missed feeling him wriggle in my tummy so much...(even when he was lying in my arms)... they do change your life forever but honestly, I love mummyhood and wouldn't change it for the world

@December2018 That's exactly what I needed to hear tonight, thank you! As each day passes it sinks in a bit more and, although I'm nervous, I am really excited .

So many on this thread have due dates so close! It's so nice we're on here nice and early to support each other x

This is a good progression from Monday to today isn’t it?
I had a panic as before I got my BFP I ordered a load of ICs and thought I’d try them out . They kept coming back BFN!!!
But trusty FRER shows otherwise

@Comps83 excellent progression! The cheapie tests are awful, I was barely getting squinters on them but at the same time getting clear lines on FRER.

I did one last night and the line is wayyy darker than the one I did through the week
It's so reassuring when you can see that little line getting darker isn't it

Feeling really sick today, I've been awake since about 5 feeling crap! Now sitting watching nursery rhymes on YouTube with my son 🤦‍♀️

My boobs aren't agony but I'm aware of them, if you know what I mean. Like a dull ache.

I know what you mean, I've been wearing baggy dresses to work all week. I feel really bloated as well so I'm convinced I look super pregnant already, I'm sure people are going to notice!

@Comps83 I think opk tests come up positive when your pregnant anyway yano and usually stronger.:: something to do with it picking up different hormones... I think 😂

Hi everyone, I found out at the weekend and I'm due on the 21st! This is my first one so I'm a bit anxious about what I should be feeling or should not be feeling so I'm taking each day as it comes (and wishing time away so I can have a scan). Only really had period-like cramps and bloating with very slight waves of nausea, but other than that, no other symptoms! Just trying not to think about it until I have seen it for real!

I’ve got the fact that I’ve piled the weight on over the last 2 years to be able to hide mine for a bit I think. Ppl will just think I’m still eating too much.

It's been a week today since I found out, can't wait until 12 weeks! But I feel like it's going to go reeeeeally slowly!
